Pool was well heated but not worth the price of the rental. We overpaid for this property, be cautious when considering this listing. I don’t recommend staying here. The host is very timely in responding.The bathrooms were not clean and the shower adjustments allowed the water temperatures to fluctuate between scalding hot and cold.The property is tired, there are no dressers for clothes, you have to put your suitcase on the floor and the quality of cleanliness is lacking.

The pool is awesome!

We ranged in age from 71 to 4 and we all enjoyed the pool thoroughly! Boris does a great job with maintenance, so it was really refreshing and fun for all. Communication was easy and quick. We didn’t need much, but Boris was quick to respond. Very comfortable beds and plenty of room to spread out!

Place definitely needs to be cleaned up. Water wasn't consistent, you get get burned in shower. Pool was ok, made me uncomfortable staying like someone was watching us with all the rules and cameras. Just a family there to spread ashes not party-ers!

Our family traveled from several states to go to the Kansas City Zoo. The house allowed us to all be together, yet have separate bedrooms. The pool was loved and used extensively. Great location near the mall. Hosts are easy to work with.

Pictures are little outdated from what the property looks like. Nothing major. The backyard could use some TLC but the pool was heated and was great addition to the home. Great distance from everything!! Was very kid friendly! Host was easy to work with!!! I would stay here again with my family!!

We had a tournament we were in and brought 8 girls. Had a wonderful time. House had everything we needed. Boris, the host, was always quick to respond to any question we had and very helpful. The girls enjoyed the opportunity to swim. Plenty of living spaces to hangout for everyone!

Thanksgiving

The property was not cleaned well at all. Very dusty, I waited before leaving this review in hopes the owner would contact me. Our Thanksgiving could have been ruined if we didn’t have family in the area. We took pictures of the mold and dust both of which I have a severe allergy. 10 out 10 would never recommend.

July stay

We stayed for 2 nights in this house in late July. The house was nice and clean. It had been pretty hot outside so the pool was also pretty warm itself. One issue we had was the bedroom light turning on during the middle of the night (around 4am) the first night. We also had 2 incidences of leaving the house and coming back to the bedroom light on. It was probably a wiring issue as the bedroom fan would also surge through high and low power cycles. Nonetheless it was still a bit eerie when sleeping in a new home and something like that does happen. I did alert the property owner who said they would look into after our stay. The only other thing i may recommend would be some sort of food storage. Lots of air bnbs have the essentials such as zip locks bags/foil/etc. This one had pretty minimal outside of utensils. We did still enjoy our stay and i would truly rate it somewhere between 3-4 stars just due to the light issues we had which im sure they will correct.

Was not what we saw in the pictures

Don't go by the pictures when you make a decision to stay in this property. My wife and I felt like the pictures way overstate the reality of this rental. We spent more to stay in this home, but regretted the decision. It was not thoroughly clean. The water heater gave us problems. There was no remote for one of the TV's. To use the pool required that you remove the cover and put it back on. It was not the experience we paid for.

A bit disappointing

Myself and my family stayed at this property 2 separate nights over a 5 day span. Both stays were unfortunately welcomed with a pretty dirty house. The floors could have used a very good mopping, multiple cobwebs needed clearing, and countertops and bathrooms definitely needed more love. The furnishings were fairly cheap and the whole house felt way more like a cheap rental than a home. The neighborhood was nice and the owner communication was good but there was a lot to be desired for the nightly price and fees we paid to stay here.

Underwhelmed

We travel and stay in rentals quite a bit so I feel like we have reasonable expectations. This house was low on our list. It had fairly cheap furnishings. The house was a bit dirty feeling as well. The master bathroom shower was moldy and smelled. We didn’t even use it. On our drive down to KC, the owner informed us that the pool was as leaking and we would not be able to use it during our stay, which was the only reason why we even booked this house. We had extremely disappointed kids. I would not call this house kid friendly. They didn’t have any plastic cups or dishes. They didn’t have any smaller spoons either. Very basic amenities from other houses we stay in. The house can use some updating and the furnishings can really be more cozy and welcoming. Location is as good though. Quiet neighborhood. Close to the highway. Grocery stores and restaurants were nearby.
