A holiday barn in the Arnside and Silverdale AONB - coast, lakes and fells!

This lovely holiday home offers spacious, luxury accommodation comprised of three reception rooms and three bedrooms. Bedroom room 1 is a king size master bedroom with en-suite shower room, bedroom 2 is also a king size room and bedroom 3 is a delightful twin bedded room. Additional sleeping may be provided on a double sofa bed in the sunroom. In addition to the en-suite shower room there is a separate, newly refurbished family bathroom.
Living rooms comprise of a breakfast kitchen, with integrated appliances (double oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine) dining room with extending table to seat up to eight guests, lounge and sunroom. In addition there is a downstairs cloakroom.
The property has broadband facilities, with television to the lounge, sunroom and kitchen. DVD players are available in the lounge and sunroom.
The property has a delightful, secluded courtyard garden with outdoor seating available for al fresco dining.
The property is directly opposite the local Primary School with the play spaces available to use outside of school hours. The excellent local play park will also keep children happy.
The Stables is ideally placed in the centre of Warton, a village with connections to George Washington, two public houses serving real ale and home-cooked food, an independent micro brewery and the Warton Crag which is perfect for walks and to see glorious coastal views.
Five minutes down the road is Carnforth (with its railway station of Brief Encounter fame) where there is a range of supermarkets and various independent shops.
The property is ideally placed to visit The Lake District (30 minute drive to Lake Windermere), The Yorkshire Dales, Blackpool, and any number of small local towns or of course to just relax at The Stables.

The homes was better than anticipated
My only complaint for was that if you don’t have a car it is very hard to get around the area. The walk to Carnforth for breakfast was 30 minutes but it was easy to get there. The house was comfortable, clean and roomy! It had everything we needed.

Great holiday rental
Our family of five including three teenagers, thoroughly enjoyed our 3 week stay at the Stables. Anne across the street helped us check in and was very friendly. The beds were comfortable, the internet was fast (it did go out in the evening for a few minutes a couple times), the fixtures all worked well and we all felt comfortable and at home. The area was relaxing yet centrally located near the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales. We would definitely consider staying here again.

The Sables was everything we hoped for!
The Sables was everything we hoped for! Anne was very friendly and helpful. The house was extremely well equipped and clean. We couldn't have asked for more and would absolutely recommend The Stables to anyone visiting The Lakes District.

Lovely home in a quaint but convenient village
We enjoyed our short stay in this lovely, well renovated home. Beautiful garden, comfortable beds, modern well-appointed bathrooms. The village is a short drive off of the highway so convenient to get to and from. Easy walk to the two pubs in town. We had a very good meal at the Malt Shovel Inn. The driveway is tight for a larger vehicle, so we parked out on the main street sometimes. Everything works, except we had trouble figuring out how to lock the back door.
