Located between the beach, gardens, and the historic and lively La Rochelle centre, in a very beautiful 17th-century private mansion with 70 m², two rooms, and parking. It is also located on a private park that you may use (sun loungers). Sunny apartment, charming, very quiet, entirely equipped and renovated. Wi-Fi and TV available through internet access. It is ideal for 4 people. A baby cot and linen are provided. No smoking. Pont Ile de Ré (bridge) toll included. Final cleaning is €45. Many restaurants, bars, a theatre, museums, markets, old harbours and towers, and a casino are nearby. Booking: Please contact us by phone or email.

The location was simply outstanding. The apartment was charming and well-stocked, and we were minutes away from excellent restaurants, grocery stores, the ocean, jogging paths, and shopping. Michele was an amazing host, extraordinarily helpful and accommodating. She assisted us with a medical emergency, even meeting us at the doctor’s office to ensure everything went smoothly. In summary, our stay was lovely, and we hope to return.

Perfect location and plenty of space

Family of 4, 10days, lovely historic port town with lots to see and do for all ages out the front door (food and art markets, groceries and loads of places to eat) and back garden leading to park and short stroll to lovely beach where morning and afternoon you could swim and inbetween tides, sunbathe or have a drink or walk into town for lunch. Our hosts Jean-Claude and Michele were so welcoming and helpful throughout. A visit to Il de Re a must as well (ferry or car). Accommodation was beautiful and we had space, lots of amenities and felt like residents rather than holidaymakers. Good for those who want best of beach and town holiday.

Super nice Appartement at top location

We had a perfect stay for 10 days in La Rochelle at this beautiful apartment. It is even better in reality than we expected it to be. The apartment is brighter than we had the impression from the pictures, and has a very charming atmosphere. We literally felt at home. Also the owner Michèle is a super friendly and helpful host. What a find!!!

This was our second stay in this wonderful appartment which is part of a palatial old building very close to the town centre and port areas. Michelle the property owner is a charming and perfect host, close to hand if needed but never intrusive. Parking in the garden at the rear is a real bonus, the gate to which is in a lovely and extensive park. We will return!! Mary and David. Manchester UK.

Perfect location for La Rochelle

We enjoyed our stay very much. Have driven around France it was nice to be able stay in one place which offered secure, private off-road parking and then be able to walk into the town/harbour, which was literally just a couple of minutes away. Michelle, the host, was very pleasant and available if needed (which wasn't necessary). There is only one bedroom, although two single/one double bed can be made up in the lounge if needed. Overall this apartment, although a little 'tired' and shabby looking in the entrance hallway, offers a clean and period looking accommodation, with comfortable beds & linen and everything in the kitchen that anyone could want ! I would sum up by saying if visiting La Rochelle again, I would be perfectly happy to stay here again.

What a find!!

We have just returned from a week in this excellent apartment. It is really a brilliant place to stay. Whilst being situated in it's own private grounds, it is also based just a just a few minutes walk from the the three towers and Vieux Port. A big bonus is the parking space in the grounds to the rear - even in late September parking can be tricky in La Rochelle. All home comforts are provided. The lounge is massive and the bedroom is very comfortable and adjacent to the bathroom which has a great shower. The kitchen is fully equipped with all necessary appliances. Michelle is a really welcoming and helpful host but never intrusive. It really is the best of all worlds. We were very sorry to leave and will definitely be returning. Thank you, Michelle. Delightful Apartment in Superb Location, Could not have asked for more.......

The property was lovely. It felt like a real taste of French living. We met Michele the owner at the property who was very friendly and helpful always at the end of the phone if you had any questions. The apartment was amazing with beautiful features, huge windows with stained glass, decorative architraves and door ways.... It felt very homely and was lovely and clean and very well equipped. There was easily accessible parking within the pretty grounds of the property and also lots of cycle paths in and around La Rochelle and bike hire for cyclists. The location of the property was fantastic. Within close walking distance of the beach, shops, local supermarket, restaurants, harbour and a lovely park. I recommend a visit to Ile de Re where the beaches are superb and the harbour at St Martin is very picturesque with some great restaurants and shops. I highly recommend this apartment and found La Rochelle a great place to visit with plenty to do for all age groups. There was fun to be found for young children at the park and beach, great night life for young adults and a vast choice of restaurants for all tastes and age groups. I would most definitely like to return......

Die charmante Wohnung war uns ein wunderbares Zuhause während unserer Urlaubswoche in La Rochelle. Auch die Vermieter verdienen fünf Sterne! Die Lage mitten in der Stadt ist perfekt und der inkludierte Parkplatz ist äußerst komfortabel.

Très bon séjour en famille.

Appartement fonctionnel et très bien situé. Proche de l’entrée du vieux port, rue piétonne, de l’aquarium, musé de la mer ; vous pourrez effectuer tout vos déplacements à pied. Vous pouvez laisser votre voiture sur le parking privé fermé. Très agréable vacances en famille. Nous repartons avec de jolis souvenir. Merci aux agréables propriétaires pour leur gentillesse.

Vacances de rêve

La location est tout simplement parfaite ! Tout est beau et décoré avec beaucoup de goût. L'emplacement est idéal, en plein centre, mais sans aucune nuisance sonore.... Une véritable bulle, un cocon dans lequel on se ressource.... Les hôtes sont très agréables. Je recommande ce petit paradis sans hésitation !
