Reconnect with loved ones in this family-friendly place. The cottage compound is ideal for quiet stays, romantic getaways and nature-filled family vacations. The cottage is freshly furnished with a fully-equipped kitchen. Cable TV, DVD player, linens and wireless internet are provided. The are 3 kayaks, 1 paddle boat and 1 canoe for guest with paddles and life vests available. This is a non-smoking property. Pets are allowed with approval from the management.

Priceless Lake view

Rented two cottages next to each to share with family. Very relaxing, great people around. Plenty of restaraunts and brewery near by. Spectacular lake views. Will be back.

Perfect spot if you want a lake cabin experience. Beautiful views, with lights on the property and fire pit. Beds are very comfortable. Great for a short family get away

Quiet late fall visit with our dogs

Looked for somewhere close to SUNY Plattsburgh to come in to visit our student at college, mainly to bring her dogs to see her, took a chance on the Blueberry Cottage and wasn’t disappointed. The location on the lake was beautiful. Was a little chilly when we went so we couldn’t really enjoy the beach or firepit, but I bet in the summer it would be amazing.

Quiet Beautiful Comfortable

My husband and I rented here to view the 2024 eclipse. We could not have found a more perfect place to have that exerience! The cabin is comfortable. The living room is flooded with light and has lots of windows to take in the amazing views of lake champlain. There is a small patch of private beach that

The shower/bath needs a safety bar. The mattress needs to be replaced...very painful for one's back.

Excellent Stay

We stayed at one of the units and did sailing trips around the area. The boat launch is literally next door, very convenient! On one of the rainy days we went to the movies, the town is close and convenient. The unit itself was cozy, clean and spacious. It can accommodate as many as 7 people, if needed. We loved it!

Great place to stay with clean rooms and beachfront, easy check in. Everything is as described . Really close to Ausable chasm. Highly recommended will stay there again.

Perfect Place for a fishing getaway!

Wow! What a perfect place to stay for folks visiting Lake Champlain.. Even more perfect if you are fishing at the Lake :-). everything was in order with the property. Close to boat launches and plenty of places for food and site seeing.

Family Gathering for Plattsburgh Graduation

We enjoyed our stay while in the area for Plattsburgh Graduation. We loved being right on beautiful Lake Champlain. The outdoor seating was wonderful to relax and enjoy our special time together. Thank you, would love to return!

Cabin with private beach on Lake Champlain

This property is directly on Lake Champlain with a private beach where you can relax with a fire in the evening or a cup of coffee watching the sun rise. Plattsburgh, the ferry to Vermont and Ausable Chasm are close by and tourist sites in the Adirondacks are 1 to 1 1/2 hours away. My only complaints were with the TV and Wi-Fi. The TV remote was incomprehensible. We had a lesson from the owner or we would never have been able to figure it out. Unfortunately, there was an error with Netflix and cable TV would freeze every few seconds, making it impossible to watch, so we used our laptop to stream. There was an issue with Wi-Fi the last evening and the morning we left where it was dropping in and out. Also, we had no cell service on the property. If you use a lot of electrical outlets, which we do, you’ll have to move some furniture to access them. We also felt the cabin could use a deep cleaning as we encountered cobwebs behind some furniture. Overall, we were pleased with the location and our stay and would recommend the property. You might want to ask how the Wi-Fi and cable are working before arrival, if that is of interest to you.

Guests with boats on trailers can park them in a secluded lawn area and easily launch them at the nearby Peru NYS Boat Launch. This is an ideal spot for bass fishermen looking to make the most of their stay during tournaments.

Spend your days exploring Ausable Chasm, Wickham Marsh Wildlife Area, hiking, biking, or simply relaxing on the water. Those with friends and family in the area are welcome to invite them for day visits, as additional parking is available on the lawn next to the driveway.
