Cedar Bluff Cabin in May in Old Town Bluffton on the river

The Cedar Bluff Cottage is located on the beautiful May River in old town Bluffton. The cottage is situated within close walking distance from Calhoun street and the Promenade area where there are several shops, restaurants, art galleries, etc. There is also another house on the property.

One bedroom with a king-sized bed. There is a single pull-out sofa in the living room. We are an adult-only property and allow a maximum of 3 guests.

Guests will have access to the cottage, the property private residence dock, backyard patio and backyard

**We have 3 kayaks that are available for use at your leisure.

The kitchen has everything except for an oven, but all other kitchen appliances are included, as well as an oversized microwave oven that can cook casseroles and other larger items.

We totally loved staying here. It was beautifully decorated, the property was exceptionally maintained, and the location was perfect. An easy walk to town to shops and dining. We highly recommend staying in this cottage. The host was very accommodating as well. We will be back again!!

We stayed here for our wedding! It is the most gourgus property we’ve stayed at in so long, and we are locals to Hilton head!! I was able to come get ready here for my wedding, which was nextdoor at the oyster park, and have my bridal portraits taken in the backyard as well. The property was so stunning that all the photos turned out so amazing. The home is the perfect size for us and it felt so big with the high ceilings. The bathroom is amazing and the bed was so comfortable after a long night of dancing. Thank you for an amazing stay!!

Perfect getaway

Our week could not have been better. The goal was a relaxing getaway… mission accomplished, expectations exceeded! We explored the area but always looked forward to getting back ‘home’. The cottage was exceedingly clean and well appointed, the grounds were beautiful, within walking distance to all things Bluffton, and so on. Highly recommend this spot. We certainly want to get back as soon as possible. Thank you Kelsey for opening your home to us.

Amazing!!!

We had such a fun ladies' trip; staying at the Cedar Bluff Cottage was the best! The home is perfect - beautifully decorated and in such a great location. The Live Oak trees, dripping with Spanish Moss, set the stage for a true southern getaway. If you like birds, you will want to be out on the back porch at daybreak - so many species darting among the flowers and bushes. And best of all, you can spend your evening sitting dockside on the May River - we loved watching a dolphin chasing its dinner. Nestled in the heart of Bluffton, this cottage was one of the best VRBOs we've experienced. We can't wait to go back.

Fantastic stay in Bluffton

This property is in the perfect location for a weekend stay in Bluffton. Beautiful setting a short walk to Olde Town and all it has to offer. We enjoyed great meals at Farm and Pearl, but may have enjoyed relaxing around the property even more. Would Definitely come back again!

A slice of paradise!

Our two night stay was perfect! The cottage was incredible!! No detail overlooked! After we arrived, a light rain started and we simply enjoyed listening to the sound of rain on the metal roof back porch! The bed and linens were very comfortable - just like a luxury hotel! The grounds and landscaping on this property are amazing! It was also a treat to chat with the owner and hear some of the property’s history! We WILL return! Thank you, Kelsey!

Cedar Bluff is an amazing Bluffton jewel! Extremely well designed, maintained and managed. It does not get better than this in Bluffton! Kelsey was a very responsive manager and the owners are delightful. We will definitely return!

Great for outdoors

Covid and a tropical storm impacted my stay. There is not flexibility but when there it is a good place for those who want to eat out and just hang outdoors. Kitchen is lacking as just wine cooler and there is no flexibility in bad weather conditions. So just make sure you can make it and want to eat out and don’t need any special requests. But amazing location.

Beautiful property, relaxing getaway

This cottage was perfect for a couple's getaway! The property is accurately described and pictured and even more beautiful in person. It is comfortable and cozy yet plenty of space for two people. We enjoyed coffee and breakfast on the back porch, reading on the patio's rocking chairs, and kayaking in the May River. It is a quick walk nearby restaurants and shops. We highly recommend and look forward to visiting again!

Perfect Getaway

Perfect little getaway for our first family vacation Very quiet and beautiful surroundings. The cottage is cozy and met my OCD standards for cleanliness. For selfish reasons I want to give a horrible review.....but

I so wish I could give the worst review ever but I can’t. I honestly don’t want anyone else to know about this amazing place because I selfishly want it available whenever we want it. Seriously the property was amazing and Kelsey, Joe and Tammy were the best. The location is super relaxing and within easy walking distance to restaurants and shops in Old Towne. The only downside was that Winston the dog didn’t visit us more. We really did not want to leave and could have spent every minute at the property. Thanks again Kelsey, Joe and Tammy for an amazing time at your amazing location. WE WILL BE BACK!!!!!!!!

Wonderful visit!

We had a lovely three nights and wish our stay was longer! The property is right out of a magazine - picture-perfect views and a gorgeous historical cottage that has been restored to its modern-day glory! The cottage was pristine and well-equipped. The hospitality was so warm and inviting, and Kelsey was so easy to work with. The location can't be beat - only a five minute walk to dinner, ice cream, coffee. Can't wait to return soon!

So pretty and relaxing!

We had a wonderful stay here. We came to celebrate our wedding anniversary and it was so much better than the pictures even showed. The property is absolutely gorgeous. We also really enjoyed the easy walk to restaurants for lunch/dinner. Would highly recommend.
