Great location, had some issues with broken appliances ( dishwasher and air conditioner). Host did what he could to accommodate the problems. Would have liked if he would have provided some refund due to the problems. Offered a discount on our next stay instead. Unfortunately we wouldn’t stay at the property again due to the issues.

Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately, the AC experienced an unexpected failure during your stay, and I did my best to address it as quickly as possible. The dishwasher is not currently listed as an amenity because replacement parts have been difficult to obtain. I appreciate you recognizing my efforts to accommodate the situation and am sorry the stay didn’t meet your expectations.

We stayed for 2 very cold days in February and this place was cozy with the gas fireplace. The beds were comfortable. Erick is a great host who quickly responds to questions.

Exactly as advertised. Fully equipped, large kitchen. Comfortable beds. Nice that each room has its own thermostat and the gas fireplace kept everything toasty during 20 degree nights. Check in and out was super easy. Host was readily accessible if needed. Great price for everything included.

Erick is an amazing host and his homes are beautiful, comfortable and have everything you need to have a perfect stay.Our family has rented both of his homes on Lake Michigan and our time there has been amazing.I would highly recommend either house to anyone looking to retreat to a peaceful, beautiful location within walking distance from the beach. They are both stunning locations.

Lake Michigan getaway

We throughly enjoyed our stay at this cottage. We enjoyed relaxing and exploring the various small towns in the area. The best part was the beautiful beach just a short walk or drive away. We would definitely rent again in the future.
