Long weekend in Walla Walla

Cute half of a duplex with a nice bedroom, well-appointed bathroom, and comfortable sitting area. The kitchen was perfect for coffee and breakfast; we didn't do any cooking but it would have been easy to do so. We would definitely consider staying there again.

Super clean comfy place

Easy close parking, very clean, recently remodeled, close in neighborhood location quick drive everywhere- wineries close, casino not far. Super useful checkin page with restaurants etc

This was a great little house in a great location in Walla Walla. The house was clean and very well-appointed with amenities. Check-in was easy and the neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. Thank you for a nice and very easy stay!

Perfect quiet refuge

The property is clean, quiet, conveniently located for us. We used the bicycles to get around as we visited relatives in town.

Convenient Location to Downtown

I stayed at this property for a month while visiting family. The unit had everything I needed to be comfortable during my extended stay. I will definitely stay here next time I am in Walla Walla.

Family birthday

A perfect spot. Small quarters, but nice space for two. Has everything you need. We cooked dinner there the first night. Close proximity to our relatives. Enjoyed a birthday party for our favorite 3yr old while in Walla Walla. Rental is close to shops, downtown eateries, parks, college, and wineries.

Where is it, again?

This is a nice little place. It’s a duplex situation. That didn’t really make a difference to us. There should be explicit directions, though. Using a map app put us in the right area, but it is difficult to locate. Maybe a great big sign would help.

Great little house close to Whitman College

The house is very cute. And very small. It would suit an individual or a couple much more than a group of 4. But the yard is very lovely and it was very well kept. It’s only a short walk to Whitman and there are lovely parks close by.

Cozy home base

This was the perfect property for my husband and I to stay during our anniversary trip to Walla Walla. The house was the perfect size and the kitchen had everything we needed. The backyard is very nice - we could see lots of stars at night. We always drove to downtown but the distance seemed easily bikeable and a manageable (~30 min) walk. While you’re in town, would recommend Passatempo for dinner and Kickstand Bike Tours for a fun electric bike tour of the airport district wineries, including the incubator wineries!

Wine Country Getaway

My wife and I had a nice stay at the Minute Place in beautiful Walla Walla. We had arrived and put our stuff away in the unit and went out for a quick bite to eat. When we returned we had a little confusion with the key code door lock and within just a few minutes someone was there and let us in. This was much appreciated as it was pouring rain outside. Perfect location for walking into town!

Cozy and Comfortable

Perfect for a little getaway. My mom and I spent a couple of nights in Walla Walla. It was a chance to see family we haven't seen much. We had everything we needed in this rental. The A/C worked perfectly! It was Walla Walla HOT (for us at least). The location is close to a park and many restaurants & shopping. There was an issue with the dryer. The owner was there immediately and very pleasant to deal with. We'd definitely stay here again.

Cute place

Manager was very prompt in helping with the check in process. They had missed cleaning the place. He attempted to find another place for us. When he was unable to find one,He arrived within 15 minutes of our phone call to clean it. He then offered our stay for free. Would stay at this property again.

Cute but very small

Good location, clean duplex. VRBO provided WI-FI network was incorrect so a Long delay getting internet until we discovered the proper network listed on one of the devices. Very small bedroom. Think the owner could “splurge” to buy a 10 cup coffee maker and get some new sheets for the bed; the ones on the bed must have been used for 5 years. Nice location close to a beautiful park providing a nice walk each morning.

Minute Place

Good location. It is a duplex but minimal noise noted from neighbors. We did not cook at all but seemed to have plenty of kitchen supplies. I started the dishwasher right before check out (used a few plates and forks) and water was noted on kitchen floor a few minutes later. Figured this was not new since there was a bucket labelled with towels for dishwasher leak. Fulfilled our needs.

Small and not that private

It may not be 100% clear that this is a duplex. The neighbors door is maybe 20 feet away. We ran into them coming and going and we could hear them next door. The backyard is also common, with a few shrubs separating you from the other side of the patio. Although fenced, the patio is less than 10 feet from the windows of a very run down property. Not the privacy we thought we would get. Living room was decent sized for two, kitchen is small with limited counter space, but fine for a short stay. Bedroom and bath are tight even for two. There isn't much space between the bed and the walls or the bath and the end of the bed. Your suitcases will need to be in the closet. Everything was clean, kitchen was reasonably stocked and there were lots of towels. Bath also had soap and shampoo provided. Check in was seamless. Very few requirements for end of stay cleaning, which we appreciated.

Very clean and tidy little condo

Great little condo with a great backyard! The backyard is shared with the other side of condo, so you may have company, but it is somewhat divided and has bbq facilities and fire pits and outdoor furniture on both sides. Stayed here with my wife and my son. Was a bit tight for that but not bad. This place would be ideal for two. Had an issue with the dryer not working that never got resolved but That wasn’t a huge issue, but inconvenient as we had to go to a laundromat. Overall I recommend this for 2 people but no more than 3.

Walla Walla Getaway

This is a great property for a stay near the hub of downtown Walla Walla. Property was clean and laid out well. Nice outdoor area to enjoy when weather is good. Only two small issues - we could not get TV to work (printed instructions may just need a bit of updating?) but it wasn't a problem for us so we didn't call for help during our short stay. Noise carried through a lot from adjoining rental unit. Sounded like they had visitors and it was quite loud but they graciously quieted down by 9 pm however we did hear their midnight shower one of the two nights. Just something to keep in mind if a renter is looking for a very quiet unit, this might not be a perfect fit depending on who is your neighbor during your stay. Overall, really nice experience and I would consider renting again on a return trip.

WHAT A GEM!

We wanted a clean and quiet place to call home for the weekend which was reasonably close to everything downtown Walla Walla has to offer. The bicycles included with the rental were a real bonus! There are several lovely parks within just a few blocks. Pioneer Park was definitely a pleasant surprise and an absolute must-see: acres of lush gardens as well as a giant aviary. Most of the streets have bicycle lanes and drivers are courteous so that even we senior citizens felt completely safe. Cycling through the many tree-lined neighborhoods of gorgeous historic homes on a cool August morning was a delight. The businesses in the downtown corridor have done a fantastic job of navigating COVID-19 by opening outdoor courtyard seating along the streets. The rental itself is quaint, and it was perfect for the two of us. The fenced yard offers an oasis after a busy day of shopping and exploring. We spent our last evening on the patio enjoying the gas fire pit and some good wine. We would definitely enjoy a return visit to Minute Place. A larger capacity coffee maker for we coffee lovers would be our only request.

Thanksgiving vacation gone wrong

The key code did not work. Myself and HomeAway customer service could not get in contact of anyone to help. Customer service ended up trying to find us a hotel room (not easy on Thanksgiving weekend last minute). We were expecting and prepared for an apartment with a couch and kitchen. We ended up with a hotel room so new that it did not have a microwave, refrigerator or tv set up. After several phone calls and messages sent to Gala reality, they finally reached out 6 days later. Her response " I'm sorry I was on vacation". This has been a nightmare, I still don't have any form of refund and no one is telling me the truth. Customer Service states they pulled the listing due to Gala reality not responding to any requests and Gala reality states it is not listed due to having a long term rental in this property. The property is still listed as of yesterday. They are passing the buck and no one will take responsibility for this. I have stayed with numerous locations over the years and have never been treated like this. I would not advise staying at this location.
