Awesome view of the city from master bedroom!
Living room with sleeper sofa & mounted TV; Dining room seats 8 comfortably and full Kitchen stocked with coffee & snacks for your convenience! 2nd floor bedrooms have a Queen bed and two twins plus a full bathroom. 3rd Floor Master bedroom with King bed, TV & full bath. Located a few doors down from city steps which allow for an easy walk to East Carson street!!

The space

Awesome space for gathering of friends, family get together or business travel. Completely private home; Back patio and staircase to off street parking.

Access the property from Main level which features spacious family room with mounted smart tv, couch (full size sofa bed ideal for one adult or two children) ceiling fan, current decor & tons of games! Dining Room can comfortably seat eight and offers wine rack to store your beverages, purses, keys, etc; Fully equipped Kitchen with pub style table, Keurig coffee, tea, water & snacks for your convenience; Microwave, toaster oven, Kitchenaid mixer & everything else you could possibly need.

Second level has two bedrooms and a full bathroom. Bedroom one offers Queen size bed and two closets and is adjacent to a full bathroom. Linens and towels are provided for your convenience. Bedroom two offers two twin beds, closet & built in desk. The top floor is entirely dedicated to the Master bedroom suite. King bed, dresser, smart TV, full bathroom and large walk in closet make this better than any hotel room! (Iron/ironing board, Pack-n-play and plenty of additional blankets are stored here too)

Guest access

Guests have access to all four levels of the home. In addition to the main and bedroom levels, there is a full size Washer/Dryer in the basement. Back patio (although currently not furnished) is available for use; Cornhole boards are stored in the basement.

Interaction with guests

Prior to, and during your stay, guests can contact either myself (Megan) or local manager (Bryn) directly. Bryn is local, and will do her best to be available for assistance in the event of an emergency. We will answer any questions you have, and accommodate your needs the very best we can!

Check in: Guests will be provided with personal access code. Check in times can be flexible with sufficient notice.
During your stay, please do not hesitate to reach out with questions or concerns.
Check out: Instructions/reminders will be noted; lock up and notify us when you depart.

Beautiful Remodeled Pgh Row House

Perfect house to stay in to get that old Pgh row house experience. The owner was always quick to respond and so nice. What you don’t see in the online pics is all the steps going down to the house from the parking pad and the two flights of steps to get up to the 3rd floor master bedroom. Thankfully, we could handle it but some people may not. We had trouble with getting into the property the first day (internet glitch) but a backup plan was in place. For a couple of days, we smelled weed coming through the 2nd floor walls from the neighbors. Overall, we had a good experience and nice stay. Close to downtown and lots to do!

Just OK

This property is not friendly or safe to Seniors. The photos do not show the truth of uncoded steep stairs with 8" steps; the parking was tight and level with 3rd floor; dark crusty tunnel side entrance from street. Neighbors were noisy into the early AM. This is a very old residence squeezed in townhouse residential style with no open view to the city. Inconvenient location to downtown Pittsburgh. It was a "just ok" stay. Property mgr lives in another State. No pre-trip email with instructions received. Upon arrival decided to stay in Motel/hotel if a refund could be applied but it couldn't. I took photos that people really need to see beforehand. Would not stay here again.

Wonderful Stay

We had a great time! The home is exactly as seen in pictures and very clean. The beds were very comfortable and while we didn’t use them, the snacks and water are thoughtful for families traveling. We would definitely stay here again the next time we are in the city. Great view from the bedrooms.

Great house!

We really enjoyed our stay. None of us had been to Pittsburgh before so we were unsure of where to stay. The house was great but we would have liked to have been closer to downtown (our mistake). The host was super easy to contact and helpful. The house was clean and had everything we needed.

Drew and Megan are excited to offer our new "second home" with you!! We love Pittsburgh so much that we decided to have a place where we can come with our kids and enjoy the city even more often than we already do! We have an ENORMOUS family, most of who live here in the city. We even have our cousin managing the property when we aren't around town!

Drew was born and raised in northern PA, and attended Duquesne University for his undergrad. Megan was born and raised in Northern Virginia and attended UVA for undergrad. When we got married, I couldn't resist the welcoming feeling of the 'Burgh... We always wanted to have a place of our own here (we grew SO tired of hotel rooms!), and hope that one day our kids will follow in their Dad's footsteps to make this their college home too!

For 10 years we have said, "If we ever find a property that is updated and HAS PARKING in the Southside - we will buy it!" Well, this fall that dream became a reality!! We are super excited to have a place of our own - that we actually LOVE to spend time at. The location is fantastic! On a nice day, we will walk down to Carson street for lunch or drinks. Fat Heads is one of our most favorite watering holes in all of the city! We are only 10-15 minutes from Heinz Field and PNC park - where we spend ALOT of our time when we are in town. Family is spread from Cranberry and the North Hills all the way down to Frick Park, Squirrel Hill and even further South of the city too. There is NEVER a lack of things to do to keep us (and the kids!) busy.

Updated was key for us, and this home has everything that we could need. From the Kitchen and bathrooms to the laundry in the basement to the maintenance free backyard with parking, we felt this place had it all, and then some. We could not be happier!
