Tammy's rare jewel in Oro Valley is, by far, the best VRBO home rental we've ever stayed in. We're very familiar with Tucson, Arizona, having had family living here. Her home's location is perfect - near all amenities with easy access, yet private and quiet. The patio offers magnificent views of the Catalina mountains, plenty of birding, sunshine, and warmth, even in January. The covered veranda provides a nice respite from the heat, which we experienced during February's unseasonably warm temperatures. We enjoyed daily lunches out back, birding galore, (There were at least 15 different bird species right under our nose that we haven't seen since we live in Wisconsin), and I set up my cycleops outside so that I could do my daily PT in the sunshine! What a treat. Catalina State Park is literally out the door. We visited it daily with either hiking or biking. There are bike trails all over and so close, which we took advantage of. Sabino Canyon, Saguaro National Park East and West, Oracle State Park, Agua Caliente Park, Sweetwater Park for birding, and many local neighborhood parks with paved walking trails are all within an hour's drive and or closer. We took advantage of it all and enjoyed every minute of it. After a day's worth of adventures, we loved coming back to the peacefulness of her home to sit out back and watch the sunset over the mountains. That was truly magical. Her home is so comfortable, very well appointed, and beautiful. We booked for next year!
