All the comfort of your own home with a wonderful view! Enjoy Tucson's Incredible Hiking, Biking, Beautiful sunsets. Our comfortable and spacious foothills home has a garage, fully equipped kitchen, formal dining and living room, breakfast room, family room, 4 bedrooms; 2 with king size beds, 1 with queen bed, 1 with twin beds (3), 2 1/2 Bathrooms. WIFI, 3 TVs, lots of games. Our wonderful outdoor area includes gas grill, outdoor fireplace and ample seating. This house is handicap prepared as well. Walk in shower in master bathroom, grab bars, wide halls without hindrances. For your additional comfort we've installed a whole house water filter.

1 block from Sabino Canyon, major restaurants and shopping, 5 minutes from Loews Ventana Golf, within 15 minutes of most frequented areas. Take a wonderful drive up to Mt Lemon for spectacular views, summer cool hikes and picnics.

AZ golf trip

Excellent well cared for home. Located in Catalina Foothills close to some great private/resort golf courses. Grocery store and restaurants nearby. We had a great stay in Tucson.

Another lovely Tucson visit

This is the second time we stayed at this lovely and well-appointed property in Tucson. Perfectly located to take in our favourite hiking destinations (Sabino Canyon, Mt. Lemmon), great restaurants and shopping nearby and memorable days spent relaxing in the large yard overlooking the foothills. Thanks to Zach for always being available to answer questions. Hope to return for our third visit soon!

Enjoyed Our Stay

This home was just as we expected from the listing and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The four bedrooms worked well for the six of us and there was plenty of space inside and out for entertaining. The master bedroom and ensuite bath were spacious, but my favorite part of this home was the lovely view of the foothills out back!

This home is perfectly equipped for a large family gathering, including every amenity you could possibly need to play host to your guests without ever once thinking “if only they had…” Also a great location near the best hiking in Sabine canyon and the Catalina foothills. We can’t wait to return for more homemade tamales and more welcoming treats!

Peaceful time with family in a great location!

Our family had a wonderful time at Zachary’s vrbo! We enjoyed the location and felt tucked away in the mountains while having the convenience of groceries nearby. The layout fit our family well with adequate space and quiet mornings and evenings on the patio. Thank you for welcoming us with homemade tamales, salsa, lemonade and plenty of coffee! We will stay again!

Amazing hospitality!

We had a splendid week staying here and we’re blown away by how thoughtful the manager was and how well equipped the house was. The manager left food to welcome us, and it was so nice to have an ample supply of dishwasher soap, bathroom supplies etc. - most vrbo houses I’ve gotten only provide one day supply or none at all. The manager Zach was super responsive and helpful. The house itself is beautiful and immaculate, and perfectly located near Sabina canyon and grocery stores. Wonderful stay!

Home away from home

Zach's place was the home we needed during hard time for our family. We had 3 generations together for the first time in 20+ years. We had enough space to spread out and enjoy each other's company... And find a little space for ourselves when necessary. We had everything we needed for comfort during our weeklong stay.

Christmas in Tucson 2022

WOW! You were so thoughtful in all the food, decorations and preparation that you did. The property exceeded expectations. We had a very nice view of the mountains and enjoyed watching the sun rise. Groceries and El Charro were literally within walking distance. We left you some honey unique to our area in Florida and our daughter from Savannah left you some pralines, a Savannah delicacy .A memorable vacation. Lyle, Hilda, Beth, Stephanie, Dave and Eric.

Outstanding Home in a Great Location

Our third trip to Tucson and first time in this home. Property was everything we hoped for: well-maintained and very clean. Location was great, as we like to be just north of Tucson in the Catalina Foothills. Very quiet! Our adult kids were able to walk back to the house from Sabino Canyon when they tired of waiting for their slower-hiking parents. In addition to all the other positive attributes of this house, we also found this to be amongst the most well-stocked home we’ve ever rented on any platform. We were able prepare a great Christmas dinner for our far-flung kids, since we’re not often all together. Communication with the owner was easy and responsive. We were particularly appreciative of the gluten-free tamales and side dishes waiting for us upon arrival after a long drive south. Wouldn’t hesitate to return here if/when we find our way back to Tucson.

Absolutely wonderful

one of the very few properties we've stayed in that hit every single mark: location / design / amenities / service. successive generation owned-operated home, and that attention to detail and care shows. We were shocked when they said they home had been rented every single day for last 6 months, because every single thing was clean and in place, with only exception of a window blind string that broke, which they were starting to fix after we left house. Location can't be beat with grocery, restaurants and recreation in very short drive or medium walking distance. When we come back to Tucson, this is will be first house on list to check!

Stop Looking, this house is amazing

This is one of the best Vrbo properties we have ever stayed at. It's even more beautiful of a home and location than the photos can illustrate. The property owners are so kind, generous, and responsive to inquiries and needs. The home was well equipped and the owners spoil you with local treats upon arrival. All the beds and pillows were comfortable, no complaints from anyone in the family. Great neighborhood, cozy home well decorated with wonderful natural light. Morning views of the mountains from the rear windows are spectacular. Sabino Canyon has awesome hikes for any skill level (we had ages 7-58 yrs.) and it's just minutes from the house. The home is also minutes from shopping and restaurants (you can walk). If you are trying to decide between this home and another (like we were), pick this one!

Multigenerational holiday vacation

Our extended family of 2 kids, 2 parents and 4 grandparents stayed here for the holidays. We ranged in age from 4 to 80 years old. Everyone had a great time. My 6 year old says it was the best vacation ever and wants to come back to this "party house." My MIL said this was the most well stocked vacation rental she has ever stayed in. The house was perfect for our family. We like to cook our own meals; they have plenty of pots, pans, spices, condiments, serving plates. I also used the waffle maker, blender and 2nd refrigerator (in the garage). The toiletries are high end, probably better than anything you'd bring to travel. Plenty of parking inside or outside the garage. We went to Sabino Canyon twice and used their parking pass (make sure you leave it in the house when you depart). There are lots of board games provided and streaming subscriptions to watch on the TV. I have never experienced a more hospitable host. Our entire first meal was provided by the owners. Staying here feels like visiting family. We will definitely be back.

Good rental

The house was comfortable, well-stocked with towels and clean.Check-in was a bit of a hassle as the host gave us the wrong code. It was resolved after contacting him for the correct one.The refrigerator had a lot of half-filled jars of condiments which was kind of gross. The host did leave us some welcome foods such as guacamole and lemonade, which was a kind gesture..The big problem that future guests should inquire about was the fact that the next door neighbor has a very bright spotlight outside their back window that was turned on every night, completely destroying the ambiance of sitting on the back patio and enjoying the night sky. The host was able to help reduce the time it was turned on from all night to about 11 PM, but this still basically ruined our opportunity to sit outside and see the stars. We understand that it may beyond the host’s responsibility to influence the neighbor, but it should be mentioned by the host prior to committing to the rental, and/or inquired about by the potential renter prior to reserving the rental if seeing the stars is a desired activity. Additionally, a suggestion to the host would also be to place some window coverings of some sort on the kitchen, of which there are currently none, as the spotlight also shines into there quite brightly.Besides these issues, it was a clean, comfortable, and well-located home that we enjoyed.

Wonderful Foothills Home

Just can't say enough positive things about this great property! The location is scenic and excellent for hikes in Sabino Canyon, with great restaurants and other activities within an easy drive. The house itself is very spacious and beautifully appointed, with a well equipped kitchen. The owners have thought about everything one might need. In addition, a delicious and generous welcome collection of food was provided. Zach, our host, was very responsive and our whole stay was so pleasant and easy. Highly recommend! Thank you!

Amazing spot for family visit

We were so glad to find this gem of a home. We had 3 couples from 3 different states converge in Tucson during the Gem Show. The kitchen is well-stocked with everything labelled & cooking was easy with the variety of spices & utensils available. Zach is a responsive & friendly host, & we loved the amazing tamales, pico, & guac he provided as well as the use of homegrown citrus from the yard. The park pass was another plus & we made use of it for a fun hike at Sabino Canyon. The yard provided a quiet oasis for coffee & reading. My parents were very comfortable in the master suite. They had never stayed at a VRBO & they now have high expectations after this experience. We will certainly stay here again if we return to Tucson!

Wonderful stay in Tucson

Our first trip to Tucson. The rental was perfect, and the owner even provided a meal for our first night there. The house was very clean and comfortable, with plenty of space for our family of 5. We spent the days out hiking and exploring Saguaro National Park (East and West), Sabino Canyon and the Desert Museum. It was nice getting back to the rental in the evenings to have dinner and relax. The house was well stocked with small items that you may need for the stay: shampoo, soap, coffee, cooking oil, spices, paper towels, toilet paper, etc ... This was our first time flying in for a vacation where we couldn't easily bring those items from home, and it made a big difference. Definitely would want to stay here again when we return to Tucson for another visit

Our parents, Stan and Phyllis Grimes retired to this home nearly 34 years ago. They loved to entertain and always welcomed people into their home, this home. We hope to provide that same atmosphere of being welcoming, knowing you will love your time here. We have fully remodeled every room as well as the outside to provide all the comforts you would expect to find in your own home.

You can walk to the grocery store, drug store, many great restaurants, an art museum, other shops, Wells Fargo bank, post mail... all without ever having to drive. You can also drive to the gas station just two blocks west of us. Sabino Canyon is just east of us and is a beautiful walk, or hike! We enjoy the wild life and often see bobcats, javalinas, roadrunners, and best of all... the stars! Just sit out back, enjoy a beverage and look out at the Catalina Mountains, look up at the stars... spectacular! Relaxing, calm, quiet. Of course, 20 minutes later you can be in the heart of activity downtown or at the University. Come stay with us and see how much you'll look forward to returning again and again!
