Beautiful fully furnished condo with gorgeous pool on historic golf course

Recently renovated Laterra condo with all the bells and whistles is available for rent. Condo is looking at the pond and forest on top floor of building with elevators.
Master bedroom and bathroom and two bedrooms with Jack and Jill bathroom on the other side. Full kitchen equipped with all tools for cooking and eating. Washing machine and dryer in unit. Amenities include 3 pools, jacuzzi, tennis court and a brand new modern gym in walking distance.
King and Bear golf course is across the street, Slammer and Squire is 3 miles away.
Great schools, quiet community, Florida sunshine most days of the year.
Beach and downtown is 30 minutes away.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

When I reserved this condo I inadvertently listed 1 person and when I tried to reach the owner on the day of check in for assistance with getting my son added I could not reach the owner for over five hours. Once I reached her, she said I have to pay for two people as only four are accepted. Although this condo is advertised as six occupants and does not say it is extra. Two were children. Also, the pillows, sheets and blankets smelled as they had been used previously. When we went to make coffee there was coffee from previous people. What is the cleaning fee for. We could not use the pool the day we checked in and were not given notice about that to have made other arrangements.

This place was absolutely lovely. Klara (property manager) was so helpful and accommodating. The place was super relaxing and quiet. Pool was awesome! The only thing I would recommend would be to have some pool towels available. We will definitely book this place again!

My family is from Little Rock and my sister lives in St Augustine. Every time we visit, we stay at this condo! Owners are super responsive and attentive and sweet! Check in AND check out are a cinch. The condo is clean and has ALL the amenities you’d need for a home away from home. Highly recommend!!

Place is very nice and spacious. The grounds are beautiful unfortunately didn’t have a chance to use the pool. Unit was very clean and convenient to family located nearby. Highly recommend if in the area. Lots of stores & restaurants close to unit.

The condo was very nice. We had wonderful time. The only thing I can say is that it it’s listed as 3 bedrooms. But the 3rd bedroom is a pull out sofa. Not the most comfortable place. We wish there was a real bed in the 3rd bedroom. An extra garbage bag or 2 would also be nice to have.

Everything was as advertised/shown and check-in was very efficient. The view is really pretty and the unit is super quiet and private! Small point but the only thing I would add is a few large trays to put beverages on so the padded "coffee table" is more usable!

Golf and relax stay

We stayed for our sons golf tournament on the course next to the condo. We actually walked to the course both days. Super convenient. The rest of the family hung out by the pool and hot tub and one day they did a spa day on the first floor. Easy to get around. Property is clean and quiet. Youngest fished in the lagoon directly behind the condo. As a total bonus we we’re able to hear the lions roar in the morning from a local rescue a few miles away. Pretty awesome to drink coffee on the balcony and occasionally hear a distant lion roar. Had a great stay.

Unacceptable Rental Experience

The condo was filthy with visible mold on two of the three shower heads, mold on ceiling vent in bathroom, dust on one headboard and baseboards, stained pillows and kitchen grout, dirty windows, cobwebs, torn and pilled bedding sheets. We took pictures of everything including our CPAP filter after one week of breathing the air. The host called in a cleaning service for two hours when I complained, but there’s only so much scrubbing they could do to remedy the situation. New bathroom fixtures, bedding and a bucket of bleach and KILZ are in order before the unit is rented again. I can’t figure out why or how this property has such great reviews because that was not our experience.

Relaxing

The property is well kept. The rooms are perfect in size. Pool was relaxing. This particular property has the best view of one of the lakes. Everything was conveniently located and we never had to eat at the same place twice as there are many restaurants located nearby, as well as a Publix for anything else. Would love to stay once again on our next trip to st Augustine, thank you to our host, Klara for a wonderful stay!
