About this property
Best View in Myrtle Beach!
OCEAN CREEK
F-10, on the tenth floor of Tower North at Ocean Creek, could not be in a better location. Ocean Creek has 57 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds and Tower North is about half a mile from Hwy17, so you truly feel removed from the traffic and hustle of the summer season. Since Ocean Creek is next door to the residential area of Briarcliffe Acres, there are no high rises for a good distance south and at night, due to the way the shoreline curves inward, you can see the Boardwalk's Sky Wheel. It is the beach alone, however, that makes the location so awesome. It is very wide so you aren't on top of other families and the creek offers shallow and calm salt water while the ocean, right around the bend, has plenty of surf. At low tide if you wade through the creek, there is plenty of room for a long walk along an almost empty beach in front of Briarcliffe Acres and the Meher Baba Spiritual Center, five hundred acres that were donated to Avatar Meher Baba by a prominent Myrtle Beach family in the 1940's.
Back on the balcony, the creek and the birds can keep one entertained for hours. If they don't, Barefoot Landing, with its tempting shops and restaurants, is on the other side of HWY 17.
F-10
F10's unique floorplan provides ocean views from both bedrooms, as well as the open kitchen/dining/living area. There is an expansive balcony equipped with a dining table for four and two lounge chairs. While you’ll want to take in every minute of the view throughout your day, all sliding-glass doors and windows have black-out curtains if you want to sleep in after a night of enjoying Myrtle Beach’s famous night life!
The open living/dining/kitchen is styled in calming, beachy tones, and features two comfortable sofas, a flat screen TV, and a second dining table big enough to comfortably seat six. If you want to take advantage of the local seafood and farmer's markets, you can create your own low-country feast in the well-equipped kitchen containing Kraft Maid cabinets and quartz countertops.
Adjacent to the living area is the guest bedroom, which opens to the large balcony and contains two twin beds and plenty of storage. The attached bathroom with walk-in shower also opens to the hall for easy guest access. For larger groups, one of the Pottery Barn sofas in the living area contains a queen size mattress.
The master bedroom has a king size bed with a luxurious mattress, Pine Cone Hill linens, and its own TV and DVD player. It opens to a second ocean-front balcony, perfect for settling in with the newest bestseller. The ensuite master bath has a large walk-in shower, a quartz vanity and a huge walk-in closet.
OTHER
There are beach chairs and floats stored in the Lockers underneath the Beach Club.
Other amenities include 7 swimming pools (including 2 indoor/heated pools and 1 spa/whirlpool), twenty-four-hour security, a fitness room, business center, library, game room, and free WIFI. The tennis center, with a pro shop, offers (for a small fee) 5 clay courts, and private lessons. Golfers will love the private practice putting green. A large beach volleyball court provides entertainment for spectators as well as players.
The private Beach Club is a multi-level oceanfront cabana with a large pool, separate kiddie pool, children’s playground, and horseshoe pit. The seasonal Seaside Grill is located here and serves a variety of snack and meal options, as well as a full bar.
Four Seasons Restaurant, also located on the resort, offers a buffet-style breakfast and features special holiday meals for occasions such as Easter, New Year’s and Thanksgiving.

About the host
Hosted by Interior Dimensions
I was born in Wilmington and raised in Southport, NC. I graduated from the Women's College of UNC and skipped my graduation ceremonies and took my exams early in order to begin teaching English at the American School in Managua, Nicaragua. The school there starts in June and I was teaching when my class graduated. I did not know my grades until Christmas but I assumed I passed.
I met my future husband in Managua and we were married there. He was was with the State Department and shortly after our wedding, we were transferred to Istanbul. We served in Turkey, Washington, DC, Mexico City, and Florence, Italy before leaving the State Department and returning to my husband's home town, Paul's Valley, OK. My father died shortly after our return and my Mother moved to Paul's Valley to be close to me and her grandchildren. (I was her only child.) After a year in land-locked Oklahoma, Mother gave me a budget and told me to go buy a place on the water. We had lived on the corner of Lord and Bay in Southport and woke up every morning looking out over the Cape Fear River toward Bald Head where the river enters the Atlantic.

Why they chose this property
My good friend from college and her husband owned E10 in Tower North at Myrtle Beach and when I told her I'd been given orders and a budget to find something on the water, my friend offered E10 for me to use while I hunted. I started looking at every beach in North Carolina and every beach in South Carolina and even went a little way into Georgia. I decided that there was no way I would find a better location than Ocean Creek and I told a realtor to watch for me because I wanted a corner unit, either "F" or "G" on any floors between 6 and 12. I WAITED FIVE YEARS! The realtor finally called and told me that an "F" unit and a "G" unit had just come on the market. I flew to Myrtle Beach the next morning and did not know until I got there that both units were on the tenth floor! I chose the "F" unit right next door to my friend.
