"Lamoka Getaway" is a newly renovated beautiful lakeside home with 2 spacious bedrooms and 1 bath featuring stunning views of Lamoka Lake. The large landing and 70’ of lakefront are ideal for swimming and boating. You’ll enjoy the open floor plan and the home features a large deck, dedicated space for dining and kitchen, outdoor seating with a fire pit. The living room, with a futon for additional sleeping, has amazing views of the lake, like a postcard. Each room has a ceiling fan and the cottage has central air. For your convenience, you'll have access to wi-fi, outdoor gas grill, a large parking area, and a boat dock. We also have 3 kayaks and 1 canoe for our guest to use. Enjoy the evening sun from this eastern shore location or take a short walk to the local bar/restaurant.

Lamoka lake is also centrally located in the Finger Lakes' wine region with several micro breweries popping up and is 20 minutes from Watkins Glen, 35 minutes from Corning, NY, 20 mins to large grocery store for your convenience. Lamoka Lake is also connected to Waneta Lake through a channel so you can enjoy both lakes. Also, there is state land with thousands of acres and miles of hiking trails within minutes, and it's only 20 mins away from Watkins Glen State Park with awesome gorge and waterfall hikes for the avid hike as well as the Watkins Glen International raceway for race enthusiast. Golfers would enjoy the 10 minute drive to two different golf courses in the Finger Lakes.

Our family had a great stay at this property. The home was very clean and conveniently located on Lamoka Lake. The check-in process was easy and the owner very friendly and helpful. The kitchen is typical of a cottage and was equipped with a combo keurig/coffee pot. There are kayaks, a fire ring, and a grill available too.

Quiet lakeside cottage

Had a nice time at the cottage. My kids (age 16, 13, 11) enjoyed swimming in the lake and using the kayaks and canoe. House is very clean and well maintained. The owners (Robin and Ed) are friendly and helpful.

Great cottage on Lamoka Lake!

This is our second time staying at this cottage. We love that it is right across the street from the lake, has a lot of outdoor space,central air and is close to our family and friends. Robin and Ed are perfect hosts, so friendly and were quick to respond to anything we needed.

What an amazing getaway location! 3

I don’t even know where to begin! I can’t say enough great things about our stay and our hosts. Communication was excellent and we were greeted on arrival with the warmest of welcomes. Ed and Robin are amazing hosts. Pictures don’t do the property justice. It was clean and cozy, yet we never felt cramped and there were five of us there. Even when we had a couple of guests over we still had tons of space and didn’t feel crowded. The lake access was excellent (perfect sized lake), we enjoyed a fire and kayaking and it was just an amazing place to stay. The community itself was quiet and peaceful, and everyone was friendly. The cottage has absolutely everything you could need, it was extremely clean and very nicely appointed. I just can’t say enough good things.We cannot wait to come back. We have made new friends in this journey.

Perfect location for a relaxing getaway

My husband and I stayed at Lamoka Getaway for two weeks and had a wonderful, relaxing time. The cottage is comfortable and was spotless when we arrived. The owners were very easy to communicate with, they live close by so if there are any issues (we had none) they are available to help. There is plenty of parking and a beautiful patio area right by the water with lounge chairs and a picnic table/umbrella. There is also a deck area with another picnic table and chairs as well as a fire pit area with chairs. Ed and Robin even start you off with some wood, kindling and a lighter. We enjoyed the kayaks and the canoe, exploring the lake and fishing. The area is very peaceful and quiet but close to local attractions. We will definitely be back!

Cozy and convenient

We had a great stay at this location. The hosts were very accommodating and always were available if needed. The place has a great view of the lake and there is a dock if you want to kayak or swim. We had 4 people and felt that it was plenty comfortable. I would recommend this place to stay and would stay again.

Relaxation lakeside

This rental has multiple outdoor areas to enjoy the lake, view and fire pit. There is a covered picnic table, standard chairs and lounge chairs. The sunsets are amazing! The location is quiet and close to multiple towns for lots of dining out options. The cabin is cozy and warm. Everything was exceptionally clean and could not be in better condition! The hosts are attentive and helped us find a local apple orchard! We had such a wonderful long weekend here. We used the kayaks, fished, hiked, toured a winery, brewery, picked apples and enjoyed a campfire nightly. We will return to this rental and area as it has so much to offer! Thank you!

Great remote getaway

We had a lovely time kayaking, canoeing, and swimming. We flew in from out of state. Because they only have salt and pepper (no coffee - which they were thankfully clear about, but also no spices, no oil, etc), then you have to buy all of that. You also have to take all of that out to get your deposit back. I see this as food waste, and unnecessary, but maybe the majority of people using this property are driving from home and can bring their own stuff. The bed in the master bedroom has a mattress where we rolled to the middle; that mattress needs to be replaced (and we are small people). The owner was available, although we did not have any needs or concerns.

Relaxing in style

This is our 4th stay at this incredible property. We didn’t think it could get any better but it did. Ed and Robin put up a gorgeous gazebo on the patio (hubby is not a direct sun fan) and it made sitting outside enjoying the lake just perfect. They also put in new water entrance steps, so many positive things about this property. We love staying here and can’t wait to come back. The place is spotless and has everything we could ever need. We highly recommend this cottage if you love relaxing with a perfect view of this beautiful lake / property. You won’t regret it!

Fantastic cottage

Ed and Robin are the best hosts! The cottage was spotless and exactly as described. We had a wonderful time using the canoe and kayaks, coffee by the water in the morning and fires in the evening. The lake is small and quiet, just what we were looking for. Many places for day trips nearby. We can’t wait to come back!

Fantastic Stay

We had a wonderful experience with this property. The cottage is very clean and is tastefully decorated. Everything is well maintained both inside and outside of the cottage. The views of Lake Lamoka are absolutely beautifully! The area is very quiet which was perfect for us! Everything we wanted to do/see was a short 15-20 minute drive. We loved that we could walk around the area without having to worry about a lot of traffic. The owners live close by and are very helpful and accommodating. We enjoyed meeting them! I wouldn’t hesitate to book this place again if we find ourselves in the area.

Great place for relaxation!

We had such a great time at this stay! Just like the pictures show, it's located right next to the lake, which was fantastic. We used the kayaks provided, dipped in the lake, and spent hours sunbathing in the lakeside patio. Robin and Ed were very welcoming, and answered all our questions. The cabin is on the smaller side, so it was perfect for our 4 adults and 1 baby group. Not sure I would recommend a bigger group, even if it accommodates it. Just note - the closest grocery stores, wineries, and breweries is about 15-20 minutes away, so plan accordingly! Regardless, we loved it here and we definitely plan on returning!

Beautiful and relaxing place

Everything about our stay was terrific. We gave 5 stars in all categories. The cottage and lake is beautiful. This lake has a quiet community and we walked the lake road several times and kayaked. It’s a great location to head either east or west to the other finger lakes. The owners provided a notebook with so many options for activities, wineries, restaurants. This is a beautiful area to visit. You won’t regret staying at this cottage.

We have always done a top to bottom cleaning process and we are following the guidelines that VRBO has provided to owners during this Covid period.
