PLEASE NOTE Though we have been hit by Irma and Maria. St John is on her way back .Our community is pulling it together and her beaches are still beautiful. The trees are getting greener and the homes are looking better. Please support St John by coming to visit. To my booked guests please be patient..The cottage and my home are fine! The Cute Cozy Cottage has everything you would ever need for your stay with us.
Located in the beautiful neighborhood of Chocolate Hole, the cottage has convenient parking and a private entrance. It is only a 10-minute drive to the spectacular National Park beaches and a few minutes away from the lively town of Cruz Bay with great restaurants, casual eateries and unique island shops.
The air-conditioned bedroom features a queen bed with 100% cotton sheets, down pillows (others are available), fresh linens and mahogany furnishings. Just off the bedroom is a private deck with lounge chairs and umbrella, bar height table and bar stools perfectly situated to enjoy the view of the Caribbean sea and hill sides
The bathroom has a spacious screened shower looking onto lovely island fauna. Wrap yourself in 100% lush cotton towels with shampoo and amenities provided.
The kitchen is well laid out, easy to work in and is fully equipped with Cuisinart cookware, Wustof knives, and all major and minor appliances, including a gas oven range and refrigerator. The Weber gas grill and dining table on the front deck is great for alfresco dining.
Sharing the kitchen space is a comfortable living area with large screen TV that comes with cable and videio- watching equipment. WIFI is available through out .
The cozy cottage is tastefully outfitted with mahogany furniture and cool Caribbean colors.
In an effort to insure your ultimate comfort we thought of everything you would want to make your Caribbean vacation ideal, down to sun screen, beach towels, beach chairs and a cooler for your days spent at the beach.
This lovely cottage is perfect for a couple with romance in mind or someone who just wants to relax between exploring our gorgeous island of St. John. When you are done doing that, just fix yourself a cool tropical drink, have a seat on the deck and listen to the palm trees blow in the breeze and watch an occasional sail boat glide on by. We can't wait to see you here!

Nice St. John Getaway!

St John’s is beautiful. The place was great for the both of us. Great area. Would stay here again. Did want to point out AC is only in the bedroom, which is fine, but living room can get pretty hot during the day.

Really is cute and cozy

The cottage is comfortable and the views from the deck are wonderful. The little things like beach towels, beachchairs. and a cooler were nice touches. We used them everyday going to different beaches. Had a great trip.

Great little cottage! We really enjoyed our stay here. It was a great area-very private and just far enough away from town that it was an easy drive but away from all the business! We were able to explore the whole island going to a new beach every day from the cottage. The hosts were great and available to answer any questions. Definitely recommend this cottage-very clean!!

Great value

We found the “cute cozy cottage” to be perfect for us. Jenn and Craig were very attentive to every need. Craig picked us up at the ferry and Jenn had water, cheese and crackers, cooler and beach chairs waiting for us in cute cottage. We loved our visit to st John. Cottage close to Cruz Bay and scenic North shore.

Adequate Accommodations

This small cottage is in a convenient and quiet location. We had easy access to Cruz Bay and everything we needed. The accommodations are adequate, generally speaking. The bed was comfortable, and the kitchen and bathroom had everything we needed. Not everyone likes or needs air conditioning, but we like it when we sleep and we found the unit to be louder than ideal, but we managed. The hosts were communicative and quick to respond when we needed the propane tank for the house’s oven/range changed one evening while cooking and they were kind enough to share some fresh bananas from their trees. This is a great place to consider for lowkey, simple accommodations.

Perfect for couples

Cute Cozy Cottage was a wonderful property on St John. Very convenient location close to Cruz Bay restaurants and shops. The owners were great and responded to any questions quickly. We really enjoyed the sunset view and also the quiet neighborhood. We will definitely be back!

Living the Dream

Very safe and picturesque cozy cottage. Would definitely stay there again. Wonderful view, reasonable priced, host very accommodating. A little off the beaten path. TAXI service to area posed some difficulties until we hooked up with a steady driver. Deck needs some repair but view spectacular. If your looking for a cute cozy cottage you have found it!

Wonderful home base!

My husband and I just returned from a visit to the Virgin Islands, including a week at the Cute Cozy Cottage in St. John. We loved this cottage and the owners could not have been more wonderful. They met us at the ferry to bring us to the cottage, helped us out when a tropical storm threatened the island, and otherwise made us feel completely at home in our St. John home away from home. The cottage is even better than described and a wonderful value. Thanks so much to Jennifer and Craig!

Secon Time Around!

My husband and I finally had the opportunity to return to St. John and once again enjoy our stay at the Cute Cozy Cottage. We absolutely loved it the first time and were not disappointed the second time around! The owners have redecorated and everything was brand new, and sparkling! The cottage has everything you need from champagne glasses to a grill on the deck....and as much as we love to explore beautiful St. John, it was equally wonderful to just stay in...and get cozy!!

This is a lovely cottage and was perfect for our needs. We had everything we needed. The shower is very cool; the bed and bedding extremely comfortable. We used the gas grill twice and were glad to have it. The view from the back deck is very nice. We were glad to have Craig meet us at the dock (in the dark) or we wouldn't have found the place, but had no problems getting there any other times. Thank you Jennifer and Craig for your hospitality. We hope to visit St. John again.

Amazing Amazing Amazing

Craig and Jennifer went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. Craig met us at the car rental and showed us the way back to the cottage and then that night drove us to the medical center when we had an emergency (luckily everything was okay). Jennifer checked on us and made sure we were okay and had everything we needed. I don’t know what we would have done without them. The cottage was so cute and had a great view with an even better shower. I would definitely stay here again.

This tiny cottage is perfect for a romantic getaway. They have provided a living room, full kitchen, bath with indoor/outdoor shower (screened in), one bedroom with A/C for sleeping, and a wonderful deck with views of the ocean. They provided beach towels, chairs, and a mini cooler for days at the beach. There is a grill on the front deck and chairs/table/umbrella and lounging chairs on the back deck out from the bedroom. Everything was perfect! Do remember that St. John is hot (in summer) and most of the cottage does not have A/C, but the trade-winds provide a nice breeze. They have a TV in the living room with internet (good wifi) as well as a Blu-ray/dvd player. We used our Firestick instead and it worked well. They have a solar system which prevented power outage when the island power went out in the neighborhood. Water is from a reservoir, so you do need to conscious of use (be conservative). We did purchase gallons of drinking water, but used the cottage water to cook, wash dishes and shower. Cozy Cottage provides a wonderful home to return to after a day at the beach or hiking. The owners are very helpful and responded to any questions. They We will definitely be back!

Amazing Honeymoon!

My wife and I traveled to St John for our honeymoon and we stayed at the Cute Cozy Cottage. Thank goodness we did! We had the week of our lives and our stay could not have been any better! The cottage is clean, comfy, and what we wanted and then some. I would recommend this place (I already have) to anyone out there that wants to experience St John the right way. The cottage is a perfect location by the ferry, Cruz Bay, and all the excitement of St John while maintained a quiet environment to retreat to after a long day of hiking and snorkeling. We felt incredibly welcomed and our hosts made our honeymoon even more special! The cottage is a must for anyone traveling to St John! We look forward to returning in the near future.

Relaxing and convenient

Our stay at the cozy cottage was wonderful. We appreciated Craig meeting us at the ferry to escort us to the property. The location of the property was very ideal. We loved the deck and enjoyed coffee in the morning and run in the evening out there! Jennifer was very prompt with responses to any questions we had- I had asked about renting snorkle equipment months prior to our arrival and she was more than happy to respond and help me with my inquiry! We loved the shower, such a cool feature. There were a few little spiders and lizards that snuck their way into the shower, but no biggie other than the surprise element. Jennifer and Craig really thought of everything that you may need- from a jug of water in the fridge to an extra hair tie in the bathroom. We really enjoyed our stay!

Another Amazing Stay at the Cute Cozy Cottage

This was our second stay at the cottage. Last year we stayed for a week and got married on the island. We had such an amazing experience that we decided to come again this year! We have always stayed at resorts or hotels while on trips so I was a little nervous about staying in a house but I can tell you that after staying at the cottage two years in a row - I will never stay in a resort again! It is such a different experience to be able to stay in your own place on the island. We rented a jeep both years and found that to be awesome. We were able to see the island and come and go as we please. Jennifer and Craig are amazing hosts!! They had a welcome package of food/snacks/drinks in the fridge when we arrived. They live next door which was so nice because if you need something they are right there to help but they also respect your privacy. The Cottage is so cute and decorated so nicely. There is everything you need there. From kitchen supplies to beach towels and chairs and a cooler. Seriously everything you could possibly think of needing - they have!! The deck off the bedroom has a fabulous view of the ocean. We ate breakfast out there every morning and sat out there again before bed. It is so relaxing and beautiful. This cottage has exceeded our expectations two years in a row! We will be back soon - Thanks for a great stay!!

The perfect place to stay close to Cruz Bay but away from the noise.

Just as the name states this is a Cute Cozy Cottage, Craig & Jennifer are the best hosts. My first rental by owner and Jennifer made me feel comfortable from day one, it will not be my last VRBO and we will return to stay here again. We rented a jeep for the day after we arrived, but no worries Craig picked us up at the dock in Cruz bay and drove us the 1.5 miles to the cottage. He explained all the best places to shop for food and gas along the way. Once there I noticed that it was clean just like Jennifer said it would be, with a goody bag of snacks, cheese and crackers, fresh water and a well stocked bar, all very welcomed after a full days travel. Also has two beach chairs and a cooler, nice touch and all the items needed to cook inside or grill on front porch. Wifi was a bit week and only worked on the front porch but hey all I wanted to do was check mail in the evening and look at news in AM so it did not bother me at all, also lots of stairs to go down to get into the cottage, this is not in any pictures and no big deal just worth a mention if stairs are an issue for you. Hosts live right next door so if you need anything they are a phone call away, asked once for extra beach towels, they arrived moments later, we also seen Craig a few night when we returned home and he was walking the dog but he only stopped when we asked if we could pet the dog as we we're missing ours. So if you wish not to interact you will never know they are there. We are walkers and decided to walk back into town the first night, but I will say beware these hill are very tough to walk up and down and we were happy to pick up the jeep the next day. A 4x4 is needed for driving around and they do drive on the left side here, but no big deal after a few turns you get the hang of it. I found the hair pins and tight turns a little fun to drive but some may be nervous just go slow every one on island seems to be aware of us travelers going a little slower. We went to a different beach every day, some flat, rough, small, bigger, but all had great snorkel spots, nice sand and a few different shades of blue water, could not ask for more. Never had a bad meal while here on the island, liked the burger at Skinny legs, ribs at Driftwoods Dave's, breakfast at Cruz Bay Landing. So if you want a clean place to stay, deck with a view, cool shower, grill, stocked kitchen, front deck, chairs and cooler for the beach, comfortable bed, great host, all for a good price, than this is it.
