My family of 5 and i stayed here for 5 nights. Condo itself is beautiful and the location cant be beat!! Pier park is across the street and your view from the balcony is breathtaking!! Can't wait to come back!!

Great vacation

We got in with no problems, basically only had to drive to get supplies for room, so much within easy walking distance. I felt safe throughout trip and resort is very freindly and guests were all neighborly. Leaving was simple. Missed a hurricane, weather was great, yellow and red flags, some jellyfish were present. We will be back.

Close to Pier Park

We picked this property for it's location to Pier Park as we decided to do a last minute fly in trip. We loved being able to walk to the restaurants, shops and even Walmart for groceries. The pools were great and the beach was even better! The staff keeps the grounds clean and tidy! This unit worked perfect for our "girls trip" We had plenty of room, a great view off the balcony and everything was nice and clean and tidy and plenty of towels and dishes! This is a unit we would definitely re-book for our next trip!

This was the worst stay ever I never stay with this company

This was the worst stay ever I will never stay again with this company real joy. Poor management the unit was smelling really bad like mildew and cigarettes. The unit was dirty when we arrived I won’t ever recommend no one to stay with company real joy or the unit they are managing. My rating is -5 false advertising there was use condoms under the pillows when arrived this was really nasty. Please don’t let them fool you . Please read the review

Great Resort!

Aqua is a great resort and has a fabulous location. However the condo could use some love! It was super dirty, especially the floors, showers and tubs. The washing machine did not work. Apparently the renters before us had damaged it. We called it in immediately so that it could be fixed. It never got fixed. It was very inconvenient not having a washer, but the rental company did supply us with clean towels. They washed for us one time during the week and luckily we had a friend a couple of doors down to wash what we needed. It was very inconvenient but we worked it out!

We did some checking and found that a technician was sent to look at the washer and we’re sorry that it couldn’t be repaired during your stay. We did find that we had your clothes washed and clean towels & wash clothes delivered. We couldn’t find where you contacted us regarding the cleaning issues giving us an opportunity to correct them during your stay. We have sent your unit concerns to our operations team to address. Location Great! Condo not so great :(

We thank you for our stay & did enjoy the beach and Aqua’s amenities and it’s location as it’s nearby pier park, restaurants, shops & more to walk to. However, we did make a small list of concerns about our condo (property #1514813)… -Wasn’t fully clean as we arrived. (Kitchen had crumbs all on counters & unit was smelly and hot until we cooled it down with A/C). -There was a Cigar left on top of fridge. -Guest bedroom lights flickers. -Black Mold on & around master shower. -Guest shower pressure is horrible & drain clogged -There’s some Molding needing repair throughout. -Coffee buttons broken off, we needed to hold loose button controller down to start. Positive review is that the beds were comfy, A/C worked well & kept it cool, tvs took our own fire stick and balcony view of beach was beautiful!

As soon as my family walked in the unit we smelt a very strong odor of marijuana. The rental management company sent an inspector to our room the same night while we were not present at the time because we were at the the store getting groceries for our stay. The inspector claimed they didn’t smell anything. This made my family very upset because we are not smokers. This odor lingered our entire stay. Even when we tried to air out the unit during the day time by opening the balcony window, the smell was still undoubtedly noticeable at night time. It’s as if whoever rented the unit before us hot boxed the room for hours before they left. The fact that the rental management company did not find odor present at the time of their inspection was incomprehensible. My family goes to Panama City Beach on average 3 times a year. We will not be renting this unit again for these reasons.

Our quest we booked the unit for loved it!

This rental was for 2 VERY special quest coming to our church!! First I would like to thank the reservation and on site staff people! They were more than helpful and courteous!!!!! Thank you for meeting us and allowing us to leave a welcome basket, coffee and breakfast for the next morning for these very special quest! I will give you a small tour.. :-) I highly recommend this unit!!!!! The view from the front is amazing, you can see the dolphins at Gulf World jumping out of the water, the Sky Wheel and over view of Pier Park I'm sure was beautiful at night and the helicopter that gives rides over the gulf, a resturaunt and gift shop are right across the street. The unit is beautifully furnished "not crowded with bulky furniture" very spacious in the living area and bedrooms, love love the flooring and upgraded appliances! The view from the balcony...again amazing you can see the Pier, "perfect spot to watch the fourth of July fireworks" !!!!! Our guest LOVED thier unit, although they didn't have time to enjoy the many amenites, they said overall everything was very accomindating and beautiful. The church Elder that came with me as myself are in the cleaning industry , so of course we looked at many things and in area's a guest would not normally notice. This unit was very clean top to bottom!!!!! This was my first time booking a VRBO, the Real Joy Reps again went above and beyond to help me with my many needs and calls! Pool was great, beach was beautiful, the condo was clean and airy and well appointed. Loved the location - only a few blocks from Pier Park and could walk to Top Golf and Walmart!

The folks that work for here and staff for Real Joy Rentals were awesome. The Unit smelled like smoke. Thick smoke that stuck to everything kind of smoke. It was obvious that the owner or someone who spends a lot of time there is a smoker. Unit needs to be advertised as such. The smell is on everything and doesn't go away. Had we had our nephew with us we wouldn't have been able to stay since he's allergic to smoke. We bought a bunch of fabric spray,candles, and air fresheners to make it tolerable. Cleaning crew cut corners. Found white powder substance all over dresser in 2nd bathroom. 2nd bath tub needed good scrubbing. Some dishes had food on them. Just needed a good thorough cleaning. Some of the lights didn't work. Didn't like having to pay for parking. Everytime we've stayed at the here it came with the rental. Same with chairs although chairs and umbrella were left in condo for us so that was cool. Overall we made the best of the few issues and had a great time. The view was pnemonial The condo was pretty and aside from the few things mentioned was good for the most part.

Beautiful view

The condo itself was beautiful. Clean, updated and comfortable with an amazing view. Check in to the actual room was easy once I figured out where to park (it’s across the street from the actual condo) and finally found a cart for luggage. My only complaint really is what other reviews said…bring ear plugs and something for white noise. The location is great but the roads get busy late at night and you can hear it.

Elevator

Unfortunately we won’t stay there again. Only one elevator in the whole building was working during our stay.
