Fullt renoverad stuga, lugn men ändå super nära huvudvägen

Denna 3 sovrum, 2 1/2 badstuga har totalrenoverats hösten 2018. Ny färg inifrån och ut, ny matta, tak, brunn, madrasser och möbler. Renoverat kök med nya apparater. Det har varit ett kärleksarbete.

Denna stuga är supersöt och ett kvarter från hamnen, 2 kvarter från mataffären och Dalwhinnie's Bakery, mindre än 10 minuters promenad till fyren och 1/2 mil från baksidan av stranden.

Stort sovrum med privat badrum och egen ingång.

Stor veranda och en fin trädgård. Hjortar, kalkoner och djurliv passerar ofta vid alla tider på året. Denna stuga är perfekt för familjer.

Ett kvarter från huset finns en privat strand med gräs och ett litet sandområde på hamnen. Detta är tillgängligt för användning och är väldigt lugnt. 3 minuters promenad från stugan.

Absolut ingen rökning, vi är väldigt känsliga för rök och inga husdjur.

Uthyrning är för ett minimum av 3 nätter för september och oktober 2019. Från och med sommaren 2020 kommer våra maj-augusti hyra att vara 7 nätter och datum kommer från söndag till söndag.

Home was great, correspondence great with Manager. Work vehicle was broken into the night before crew left island. Servpro vehicle left with a broken window and broken back door lock. Work boots and Servpro bag with paperwork stolen. This was very unfortunate but everything else was as expected.

Perfect stay on the island

Excellent communication from the start. Perfect quiet location in the harbor, just a 2 minute walk to the private beach. The house was well-equipped to make the stay feel like home from the start. Will definitely stay again.

Fun place to play in the sun!!

We had a great time, as always. Beaver Island is a great place to relax. The chickens and the rooster were annoying, but we handled it well. We had 2 cats that visited us daily but we didnt feed them at all. Thanks again and we will see who all wants to go next year.

Philadelphia area rental registration number 362185. Property was not what was listed. Was supposed to be a “spacious and stylish 3 BR”. It was not. Only 2 BR and 1 bath. No living area, only a hallway, bedrooms with a small desk and chair. An air mattress but no sheets. Only 2 towels (we had 4 guests), one of which was obviously used (was damp) and left lying across the desk in one bedroom. Had to find a store to purchase towels and bedding for the air mattress. The youngest in our group slept in the hallway. Attempted multiple times to reach the owner; phone number not in service. Contacted the other 2 co owners. One said they only clean and do maintenance. The other asked who I was. When I replied and explained why I was calling, I was ghosted. I contacted the support staff of vrbo, I sent them photos and a video of what we had. Pictures on the site did not match the description. The rental is no longer listed on vrbo. Support staff told me they reached out to the owner who finally contacted them and would reach out to me within the next few hours. I called support at vrbo to advise I had not yet heard from the owner. Spoke to a supervisor. Spent well over 2 hrs on phone with them or on hold. Our rental was from Thursday June 5 through Sunday June 8. I still have not heard from the owner. To say I am disappointed and very unsatisfied is putting it mildly. This rental was clearly not what was represented to us, nor what we paid for.

Comfortable and close to town

We were very comfortable here. Beds were great, the furniture was good for lounging and reading, and the kitchen was fully functional. East walking distance to town. We enjoyed our stay!

Comfortable & Cozy Cottage

Very nice stay in this comfortable nicely decorated cottage which is close to town. The cottage was very clean and has everything you need in kitchen, towels, bedding, a nice big front porch to enjoy and a large backyard. Renee was a great host and will help you should you need anything

Great time

Our family had a great time. Despite a new structure blocking the view of the water, the home is well equipped with anything anything you need for cooking, the front porch is great to relax on with a cup of coffee, and the back yard is quiet and relaxing as well

Perfect Location

This was our famlies 2nd time staying at FallenOaks. Again it met everything for our family needs. We are a family that loves to cook/grill. Renee has the home very well stocked for all of your cooking enjoyment. The new chairs at the lake front that are provided were a perfect touch. Looking forward to our stay next year.

We had an awsome stay. The house has everything you need. Perfect location to so many things.

We were able to get the Fallen Oak Cottage in mid September with exceptional weather. Took our E-bikes instead of car and found so many hidden treasures you wouldn't find with a car. The restaurants have great food and hospitality. We got to experience an outdoor dinner with a "Barn Storm "promise from a Sea Plane Pilot that was made to our waitress that went right over our heads. Awesome! With a last minute change in our son's work schedule Renee was able to let us stay one more night. Thank you for your help Renee. We made alot of treasurable moments with our family. All ready wanting to plan a trip for next year!

Family Vacation

Your house was beautiful. Overall wonderful experience, location was perfect for what we needed. Met some of your family, very nice people! 2 things that you may want to consider to update. Coffee pot, we had a lot of coffee drinkers and the maker brewed slowly. We had to clean it with vinegar 4 different times to get to brew. Took almost 2 hours to brew first pot. Second thing. Charcoal grill. Throw it away.. maybe invest in a propane grill. Other than that. Everything was absolutely great!

Nice Find

The cottage was perfect for my husband and I. We were celebrating our birthdays and just wanted to get away. Renee was wonderful in answering all my questions before our trip. The boat ride over and back was amazing. We took our car and drove the whole island. The cottage was in walking distance to everything around town. We walked from the cottage to the light house and then kept on going into town. Stopped to get ice cream and continued on to find the Beaver Island Lodge. While we were on the island, the Northern Lights made a slight appearance and the Milkyway was awesome along with beautiful sunsets. There were only a few restaurants open and we took advantage of them, but we were also able to cook meals at the cottage. The kitchen was well stocked. Thank You Renee for making our trip easy. We shall return again some day. The islander's were very friendly!

Beautiful cottage!

We had a perfect week on the island! The pictures of this cottage show a lot of its charm, but they can’t show how it feels to have the windows open and that warm summer breeze coming in off the lake. Or how lovely it feels to sit on the front porch at night. The pictures can’t show how comfortable all of the beds and furniture are (SO comfortable) or how completely at home you will feel. The owners have thought of every little thing that you could need, and then some. This is a perfect home base for island adventures. The location is great as well! I highly recommend!
