La plage est à droite par la porte avant 1 1/4 pâtés de maisons. Nous sommes la septième maison de l'océan Atlantique encore sur un canal de la baie sur le côté de la baie de la route côtière. Près de Fenwick, Dewey Beach, Rehoboth Beach, & Ocean City. Marche pour les commerces de York Beach pour le marché de McCabe, Misaki Sushi, de Grotto Pizza et plus encore. Apportez votre bateau à notre «quai 32 ou en louer un. Great Vacation Spot

The location is located on a quiet residential beach and it was a bonus to have a parking pass to be able to unload right at the beach entrance. Easy walk to the beach and the house was perfect and exactly as described. We enjoyed breakfast on the back deck every morning on the bay. Patrick was very responsive and helpful where needed. Beds were super comfortable and loved that we didn’t have to bring our bedding. We rented our towels from Gale Force Rentals and it was simple and easy process. Thanks for sharing Patrick!

Great location

My family and I loved staying here. Perfect location on the canal and a 5 min walk to a beautiful beach. Since it’s in south Bethany you’re away from the crowds but only a 5 min drive to the main Bethany strip. We would definitely stay here again.

First time visit to South Bethany and we had a great time. The house was as expected. Great having the dock in the back and a very short walk to the beach. Owner was very responsive and we had no issues during our stay.

This is way overpriced. Lay out is just plain weird. There are 3 bedrooms and one bath on the entry level and the kitchen and living room are on the upper level. There's also a bedroom and a bath on the upper level but you have to walk thru the bathroom to get to that bedroom. There's NO PLACE to eat except at the kitchen bar which would handle maybe 3 people and the living room which is really all part of the same space. So evidently this is where people eat and that has caused the couch to get very dirty and cushions were also ripped in several places. I didn't want my kids to sit on it. The couch is the center of a home and for 4k a week I want to sit on a CLEAN couch. When I told the owner and he brushed me off and said he didnt have time in between guests to fix it, BS it takes 20 mins for a company to deliver a couch and we would have gladly allowed one to be delivered We asked for a partial refund and this guy never responded. There's a dining table outside on a screened in porch on the upper level You have to walk through the living room to get there. It is so hot no living human can eat in there. The room has plastic windows that you have to lower to let the air come through but it still gets very hot in there (the plastic is like boat isenglass). These windows are loose and rickety and some are broken but they still go up and down if you keep trying. If it rains and those windows aren't closed, the carpet, chairs and anything you leave on that table will get wet. The only way to the canal side of the property from inside the house is thru one of the down stairs bedrooms or thru that dining porch thingy. The house actually has a small deck accessible thru sliding doors in the living room but we never used it bc it was very small and looked unsafe. (I asked Patrick the owner if it was safe but he didn't answer me). The outside was nice. It had a deck right up to the water with chairs and a gas fire pit. It didn't have any grass like the adjacent properties just old mulch over weed barrier. Don't waste your money on this overpriced dump.

In response to this review I have three main points to make. First this was a money grab, “refund me money or get a bad review”. That is called extortion. In the very first and only call she (the child of the person who rented) stated they must be at the wrong house and wanted to know if we had an ocean-front house they could have. No, I only own the one beach house! Secondly, they damaged the property and luckily the insurance paid the claim. One example… she said the house was dirty in that call and demanded a refund. I said, I’m sorry, we’ll fix that and have it re-cleaned. The cleaner arrived hours later and was denied access to the house. She walked around back to the deck and one of our bed comforters was spread out on the deck and an inflatable kids pool was on top filled with water and kids. The comforter was wet/damaged/dirty, yet these people would put it back on the bed like nothing happened! Who does that!?! Obviously, we threw the set away and luckily the cleaner took pictures. Third, the house is as shown, and the pictures are current. Yes, it is an inverted floor plan, which is common in resort properties with a view of say … a canal! We actually show floor plans in the pictures, so one knows the layout. Yes, the big giant table with 8 chairs is on the 3-season porch as we say and show. The porch windows are Eze-Breeze and they slide open/closed (google them). As far as rain coming in, one is to close the windows in a house when it rains! We have no safety issues. I could go on, but I’ll stop. This was 1 of 10 reviews received this season (nearly every week); 8 reviews were 5 star, one 4 stars. This review was a vindictive money grab, please read the others.

Amazing Location and Cozy Accommodations

We were within walking distance of the beach as well as a shopping plaza. The boardwalk and additional shopping was just a short drive away. The house was perfectly cozy and the outdoor spaces were our favorite. The patio with fire pit and seating along the canal was great for evening gatherings. Dining out in the sun room was amazing, especially with the ocean breeze coming through the large windows.

Multi family vacation location

Lovely location in S Bethany. Easy to get to Bethany, Dewey, Ocean City and Rehobeth. Grocery stores and great restaurants near by. House on canal with all needed amenities. Owner extremely responsive and very helpful. Kitchen is a little dated, but very functional.

The house was nice and the outside amenities were great

Overall, the place met our needs. There were a few hiccups - second floor shower leaked and the sink in each bathroom drained slowly...and then the dryer broke but was repaired in time for the next tenant. All is all, everything worked out ok for our group.

The location is amazing! Just a 5 minute walk to the beach. The layout of the house is great with a nice porch to eat on and a great back deck.

Relaxing and great location!

Great place to unwind and take advantage of the surrounding area. Easy access to beach and we enjoyed the back patio and second floor sun room. TV systems in all rooms were a major plus. Owner made process real easy.

Relaxing Off Season Stay

My wife and I returned to this nice space in November. Bethany is quiet in the off season, which is what we were looking for. Very relaxing. The outdoor space and firepit is great and the living space in the house is also good.

Great outdoor space and convenient location!

Loved the outdoor space and convenient location to the beach. We enjoyed the large screened in porch and fire pit. I would recommend mounting the TV above the fireplace and adding a couch/chair for additional living room seating. Also, an additional set of dishes would be helpful since our group of 7 went through the plates at every meal. A beautiful week, great weather, and a lovely place to stay!

Perfect getaway even w terrible weather!

Perfect little getaway house, fully stocked w all you’ll need kitchen wise, had extra propane available for fire pit and grill, it rained the whole time and we still had a lovely time just staying indoors. Screened in porch for the win!

We were very impressed at the responsiveness of our host and the sweet location of the house. The dock and walking distance to the beach are both hits and I plan on coming back. Great Weekend with Friends

This place was in a great location and we loved all of the amenities. The 3 season porch was definitely our favorite feature. Patrick was great, highly recommend him as a host!

We have been going to the Delaware beaches all our lives and purchased this property in 2004. We rent it some and use it the rest of the time.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

It has one of the best locations in the area. Sure you can have beach front but the nearest marina is 5 miles away. On the other hand most homes with a dock and quick bay access are far from the beach. In this area beach side is only one block deep, a few blocks north and beach side is 2 or 3 blocks deep and bayside is 3 to 6 blocks deep yet further from the bay. This also means more people on the beach in those areas and a longer walk! Just the perfect spot.

In our town to get to the beach you need to walk or park using a parking pass (we provide). The only way to get a pass is to own property (or rent from the owner). At first this doesn't sound like a big deal, but it is. To access the mile long South Bethany Beach you must own or rent a property. So our beaches are uncrowded even in the peak season. Unlike other crowded towns that anyone can park and go to the beach. Skip the crowds and rent from us!
