Very nice to stay at the Porthole. This VRBO was a very cool layout and great use of the space with the kitchenette, living room, bedroom and bath configuration. Very clean, great location with views of downtown, waterfront, freighters, etc. Very easy walk to downtown restaurants & shops. This was our first time in Port Angeles and found this to be the perfect location for the daily visits to Olympic National Park!

This was a great location close to the water, peaceful neighborhood, and walking distance to coffee and eats. We enjoyed finding new large ships in the harbor each day from the property. The owners have given the place the right amenities to relax in the morning and evening after our adventures in the National park and Port Angeles.

Conveniently located close to Olympic NP entrance, and walkable to numerous Port Angeles restaurants. Very clean and comfortable. Well stocked with coffee, which is always appreciated to give an energy boost to the morning hike!

The Porthole apartment was absolutely perfect for the two of us. Everything was very clean, super functional and comfortable and exactly as described. The location was exceptional too, taking just minutes to walk to downtown shops and restaurants. We also took full advantage of the close proximity to Olympic National Park! Would definitely make this reservation again!!

The place is next to an overlook to the port, which is very nice to seat on a bench and enjoy your morning coffee. The property was as listed, clean and cosy. The host was hospitable and responsive.

It was a great spot, nicely furnished and convenient to restaurants near the waterfront. We loved the zigzag trail down the hill to first st. Very quiet, I would highly recommend.

Really Neat Spot in town and close to the water

The Porthole was perfect for my wife and I. Very clean and tidy inside. Location was also very convenient.

They love e-biking around the Olympic Peninsula and sharing their three vacation rentals with all the lovely guests, both local and from around the world.

The location is hard to beat. It is smackdab center in one of the most beautiful parts of the world. It is a great retreat from a busy day of soaking in the national beauty of Port Angeles, the Strait of Juan De Fuca, Olympic National Park, and the beautiful Pacific Ocean beaches. The apartment is centrally located with only a short stroll to downtown, the waterfront, and the North Olympic Discovery trail. The main house sits on the bluff overlooking downtown and the Port Angeles Harbor. Immediately, from the front yard (the one facing the water), is a small park for soaking in the scenery and accessing Port Angeles quirky "Zig Zag Walkway" connecting with Downtown.

Go ahead, compare THROUGH THE PORTHOLE with the best motel room in Port Angeles. There's a good chance it will beat them, since most motel two room suites in P.A. go for well over $450 a night (peak season). PORTHOLE is a bargain at only a portion of that. Come and see.
