Fantastic property providing an authentic and beautiful setting for our trip to Provence. Caroline is a kind, helpful and communicative host who has designed a property with ample space, different activities on site (pool, games room, badminton) and a lovely garden full of wildlife.We would highly recommend this property, as well as the various trips that can be made to the coast (Cassis - 1hr), towns (Aix en Provence - 40mins) and next door to the local winery for a tour of the wine making process and tasting. We would definitely consider returning in future. Thank you Caroline!

Lovely quiet place. True what a previous visitor said - if you like peace and quiet, you will really be at home here.Cath and Jean Marc were very hospitable and helpful during our stay. Anything we needed was not a problem for them.Kitchen really well equipped.wi-fi was fine with adapter plugged in and enabled us to watch stuff in English on our iPad when relaxing after the day's outings. Places we enjoyed included Gordes, Moustier, Valley of Verdun, St Remy market on a wednesday, Isle Sur Sorgues, Cassis (boat trip to La Callanques), La Ciotat, Badol beach, Frejus (only takes 1 hr 20 mins) and locally village of Eguilles.

A great little property with fabulous shared gardens and pool. Caroline and Laurent were super attentive and friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

We would thoroughly recommend a stay here. The apartment was perfect for us. Lots of space for two people and very well equipped. The highlight was the outside space. In addition to the garden there was a terrace with seating and a covered area for outside dining so we spent a lot of time relaxing there. It’s more than a 15 minute walk into the centre of town but the local bus service was very good and there is a stop less than 5 minutes from the apartment (see La Metropole Mobilité app). Finally, Jean Jacques was the perfect host. We will be back!

Wonderful house with a superb views towards Aix. Fabulous swimming pool and relaxing place to holiday.

Beautiful house in a lovely location. The owner made every effort to make us feel at home and provide everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The pool is wonderful and there are many areas in and around the house to sit, play, eat and relax. The property is exactly as depicted in the images. Would recommend it to anyone. Outstanding family home for holiday rental. Friendly, helpful owners. Quiet location, but close enough to village and city if required. Plenty to do in the area.

Set in a very attractive, wooded valley, there are really magnificent , wide-open views from the bedrooms, terrace and swimming pool. Although the property is on the edge of Aix, it feels secluded and rural. The house itself has a lot of character: it is solid and well designed, its well-proportioned , south-facing façade a handsome backdrop to the spacious and airy main terrace where we took most of our meals. Inside, the house feels like a much-loved family home. The décor is stylish and individual. The generous interior spaces are furnished comfortably and attractively. We found the kitchen well equipped and easy to use – Marie described it as typically Provençal. Had we eaten inside, the dining room is large with a whopping table. The grounds are beautifully cared for by a friendly and helpful gardener. The garden is tiered on several levels divided into adjoining spaces with plenty of well-kept lawn and several seating areas offering differing degrees of sun and shade– there’s complete privacy from adjoining properties. The garden is illuminated at night – perfect for enjoying long, warm evenings. The swimming pool is superb and very well maintained. The owners are friendly and charming, briefing us in full before leaving us to get on with our holiday. They were responsive to our queries; the printed handbook was very helpful. Marie and Jean Michel have obviously given a great deal of thought to creating a beautiful holiday home. There was a generous supply of towels for the pool and bathrooms, as well as toilet rolls and kitchen and bathroom essentials. There is no shortage of power points for mobiles and laptops. Cleanliness was beyond reproach. There is a useful medium-sized Intermarché supermarket a couple of kilometres away and we found an excellent Lidl reasonably close by. Our family group of seven adults spent an extremely happy week here. The property would also be brilliant for a family with young children. To us, it felt like a little piece of paradise.
