Relax and Reconnect at Heron's Nest - great sunsets, great birdwatching
Reconnect with your family, your partner, or old friends at this beautiful, quiet lakefront house. Create memories that will last a lifetime.
Just look at that sunroom, with a fantastic view of Sandy Creek Cove. Enjoy several seating areas in the sunroom, the deck, the living room, or the patio below. Go up six steps in this split level home and you will find the dining table and well-stocked kitchen, or use the charcoal grill downstairs on the patio.
Great primary bedroom suite (shower plus Jacuzzi tub) and second bedroom are upstairs. Downstairs is the third bedroom with a queen size bed and a great couch to sleep on, if needed. NOTE that the downstairs has a separate entrance and, I’m afraid, NO BATHROOM. Add to that the pull-out couch in the living room and you have four queen size beds for your group.
Relax outside in the hammock, fish, swim, or gather round the fire ring. Two kayaks are available for your use.
Within 20 minutes are restaurants, golf courses, bowling, a casino, and Lake Livingston State Park (details at house). Or catch your dinner right off the dock - it seems that the catfish are always biting. Sunsets are breathtaking, and tons of water birds every morning and evening - there is a bird nesting ground nearby.
You have access to all that Heron's Nest has to offer, inside and out. Due to HOA restrictions, we can only have a maximum of 8 people.

The communication was timely in the accommodations were what we needed for our family trip to the lake. Susan was easy to work with and we appreciate her time!
We enjoyed our stay very much. The lake views were exceptional and did some bird watching too. The house was inviting and comfortable. Our host was accessible and provided us with all the information we needed. Highly recomment Heron's Nest.
Needed to just get away and chill for a few days. The house was nice, close to town, and had such gorgeous views. Owners were nice and very accommodating.
Location is great. House is nice and clean. The sunroom is the best room in the house. We had great sunsets each evening. Host Susan is easy to reach. We could not enjoy the outside areas because everything was covered in bugs and spider webs. The owner is aware of the bug problem. The master bedroom is crazy hot because it is over the garage. The owner is aware, but it’s very uncomfortable. Would stay here again if issues have been resolved.

I am sorry that the bugs ruined Stephanie's weekend. We are aware of the bug problem (tiny flying bugs), but they are not bad most of the time. Maybe its because of the frequent rain lately. We do treat for the bugs anytime we learn that they are back. No one had reported such to us.
We needed somewhere near Livingston to stay for a local funeral. This was the perfect location. Top notch across the board! Clean, well stocked, comfortable, great communication.
This was a great place for a quick getaway from work and the city. Peaceful and quiet house right on the water. Gated neighborhood was nice to keep out everyone but locals. House is fully equipped inside and out. If you have a boat bring it too. Boat ramp down the street and boat dock behind the house. I highly recommend this place.
The house is really nice and clean, the beds are great and the view is spectacular. We went there to go fishing, but unfortunately it rained so I'm not sure how the fishing would be, but we enjoyed the house none the less. The host was really kind. We'd stay there again!
The booking process was seamless. Host provided all the information we could possibly need. At the rental there was even a small book with information about the rental, community, and the surrounding area including restaurants. A great stay and a better view/access of the lake.
Quick summer trip with our daughter and grand children. We had a great time enjoyed our family meals incredible view of the lake. We fished and enjoyed the kayaks Susan was an amazing host. We will be back!

I love to eat in the sunroom, there is a large nesting ground for water birds nearby, and they are very active in the morning and evening. And the sunsets are breathtaking.
