Located near the Jardin des Plantes and the Jardin du Luxembourg, at the foot of rue Mouffetard and on the edge of the famous Latin Quarter, in a lively and authentic district, on the 4th floor lift, large family apartment (145m²) near the metro and many bus lines. You will live there like real Parisians in contact with traditional shops and local markets.
This accommodation has been our main accommodation for twenty years, you will appreciate its comfort, the independence of the different living spaces, the great comfort of the immediate environment and the ease of intra-muros transport and connections to stations and airports.
You will have access to the entire accommodation with the exception of a room for reserve use

Wonderful stay in Paris!

The place was perfect. Had everything we needed. A little off the tourist route which was great, yet also close and convenient to everything we needed. Metro stop half a block away!

Gorgeous, perfect Paris apartment

We had a fantastic stay in Paris. The apartment is generous is size, well-appointed and clean. The front room was a favorite from all members of our group, slow mornings there with coffee were a highlight of our trip. The location was perfect, quiet and removed enough from the busier parts of the city but so convenient to everything with metro stations and bus stations just feet away. The communications from the hosts were excellent. We all want to stay here again!

Love Paris

This apartment was perfectly located in a safe location but also easy access to a bus line and Metro station. There are numerous restaurants and shops within walking distance to your front door.

Best family holiday

We had a wonderful time in Paris with our adult children and partners. The nearby markets and cafes were great to experience and the avenue des gobelins metro and bus lines meant we could explore the museums, galleries and flea markets very easily. The configuration of the house gave us plenty of space to dine or catch-up together and also have time separately when we wanted. We would stay here again!

Home away from home and so Paris!

We absolutely loved our time at Philippe's home. It was clean, comfortable, and so Parisian. It is so easy to get anywhere you need to go in Paris and the area around rue mouffetard is a perfect place to enjoy all the best of the city. The host made sure we were incredibly comfortable and answered all questions very promptly. I would highly recommend this property and look forward to staying there again! We went with young kids, and they also thought it was fantastic!

Great spot, great owner.

4 senior women rented for 9 nights. We would rent again in a heartbeat. Owner even helped us with luggage and hailing a taxi when our Uber ap didn’t wotk. All the 5 stars responses are accurate 100%

Large clean apartment with all amenities

The apartment is located close to Metro Les Gobelins and to Mouffetard and Monge markets and areas of interest in the 5eme and central parts of Paris. An excellent place for a holiday in Paris.

Great location and everything you need for a terrific trip!

We loved Phillipe’s apartment. It was homey and well located close to metro, taxis, shopping and Rue Moufettard. We felt at home in this roomy place and finished our evenings listening to music and recapping our Paris adventures. Great for our multi-generational family. The elevator was a treat too!

Perfect Location + Space

We enjoyed a fantastic week in Paris! The location and neighborhood are perfect. Just a short walk to the Metro and diverse restaurants in an adorable neighborhood. The apartment was clean, well stocked, and roomy. All three of our teenagers had room to spread out and relax. Highly recommend this rental for families and groups! Philippe was a great communicator and helped our stay run smoothly!

Perfect for "girls" trip

We were 4 older women staying in Paris and this home allowed us to each have some space of our own, along with gathering room in living room, kitchen and dining area. Was convenient for us as we taxied or walked lots, and there was an elevator to assist in the 4 floors, although some of us walked and got great exercise! Full kitchen for storing bottles of wine, extra cheeses and pastries. Owner was easy to get a hold of if any questions. Couldn't have asked for much more!

Great place to stay

We had a great time staying in this place in Paris. It was roomy enough for 6 people and was located very close to the Metro. We used the Metro to get everywhere in Paris. The apartment was also close to a few bakeries, restaurants, and supermarkets. It was very convenient. The apartment itself had everything that we needed and the kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked. The owners were very nice and the check-in process went very smoothly. Thank you! We had a nice stay!

Perfect Flat in Latin Quarter

I cannot say enough about this property and hosts. We arrived and everything was as shown in photos. Philippe and his wife were the best! He was helpful and quickly answered any questions we had as we were planning our trip and was extremely helpful upon check in. Apartment is fully stocked with everything you need on a family vacation and the apartment was so large, everyone could have their own space. If you are looking for a clean, cozy and parisian apartment, look no further. This is your place.

We had 3 generations on this family vacation. There was enough room in the apartment for all of us to have our own space. The building has an elevator which is very helpful. The area is close to the metro and bus stops. There are plenty of cafes, bakeries, and other food shopping all within walking. We felt at home and would love to come back again. Thank you Mr. Charles for making us feel welcomed.

Wonderful Apartment

This apartment is a gem. It is spacious, comfortable, and clean. It worked perfectly for our family. It has a full kitchen, 4 washrooms, and laundry. The location is great. It is about half a block from a Metro. It is about one block from the market and restaurants on Rue Mouffetard. The neighborhood is safe, but also lively. The hosts were attentive and helpful. We would love to stay there again in the future.

Dear Philippe and Christine, We had an amazing week at your beautiful home. It was so kind of you to meet us at your home when we arrived, and even kinder to assist us with our luggage up to the apartment on the 4th floor. Thank you so much. Us American girls don’t travel lightly. We loved being up on the 4th floor so we could watch what was going on around us. The location was perfect for walking to great restaurants, bakeries, and shopping. Even better the Metro was literally almost out the front door which took you wherever you’d like to go in Paris. We were very comfortable and loved having our own bedrooms since we were 4 women traveling together. We felt very safe, and could not have enjoyed our trip more. The other thing we are so grateful for is we left one of our phones in the apartment after we left for the airport. After contacting Philippe we asked him if he could send the phone to us as quick as possible in the United States. He not only mailed it the day we left which was Thursday, but it is expected to arrive to us on this coming Monday which is only 4 days after we left. Philippe was easily accessible if we had any questions about anything. I had absolutely no complaints, and would highly recommend their home to anyone traveling in Paris. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home and very warm hospitality with us.

Wonderful in every way

Great apartment. Quiet bedrooms. Good beds. Very clean. The manager was so helpful when one of our group became Ill He told us what clinic to call. The SOS Medecin clinic is very close if needed. Grocery stores, pharmacy, and boulangeries all very close. Taxi stand at the corner. . The elevator is small of course but works very well. Perfect apartment.

Very enjoyable stay

I highly recommend this apartment. We had 7 total people stay with us, including 2 kids, for a wedding. The neighborhood is very nice, safe and close to the subway, bus lines, restaurants and grocery stores. Philippe and his wife welcomed us when we arrived. Their home is clean, large and well kept. It has a washer/dryer and the kitchen has everything you will need. It’s on the 4th floor so you can walk or take a small elevator. We felt comfortable and we were very happy with our choice to stay there. Philippe is a great host and was very communicative with us via WhatsApp if we had questions about our stay.

Amazing apartment for a family or group of friends in a fantastic location

We were thrilled to stay at this apartment for our family reunion. Philippe & Christine were amazing hosts who were proactive in reaching out to us & answering our questions. The apartment is spacious - perfect for families or groups of friends with lots of room to spread out. We ate in for many meals - the kitchen was well provisioned and there are many nearby stores (including all the wonderful places along Rue Mouffetard) to get raw ingredients as well as prepared foods to reheat. The location is amazing - less than a block from the Les Gobelins metro station. For those who like to walk - it is a 30-40 minute walk to many sites such as Notre Dame, Luxembourg Gardens, and Pantheon. We look forward to coming back and staying here again in the future

Beautiful, spacious apartment in the 5th.

The apartment is very spacious and comfortable. We were four adult women and each enjoyed our own space. The kitchen is large and multiple bathrooms make life easy. The communication with the owner was outstanding. He contacted me several times through WhatsApp while we were there responding immediately to any questions I had. The neighborhood is charming with markets nearby including the market on rue Moufftard. Transportation is literally just outside the front door. Bus and metro lines are easily available as are grocery stores and pharmacies. I highly recommend this apartment and this owner

Great Value for Location and Size

We visited this large apartment in June as a party initially of three, then added various daughters and friends to become a party, for a couple of days, of eight. There was plenty of space and privacy for all, although we’d recommend the place as most comfortable for a party of six. The three main bedrooms are on the courtyard side of the building; they were very quiet at night. The location is the very best aspect of this apartment. We walked easily to the major sights of Central Paris. Public transportation is close by. Uber is easily obtained and very reasonable as are taxis. There are bakeries, cafe’s and a variety of restaurants right outside - all pretty reasonable. Phillipe was very responsive to any inquiries we had. We were comfortable here and enjoyed our week-long stay.

We loved this charming apartment!

This wonderful apartment was the ideal space and location for our intergenerational family of 7! The apartment is so spacious that we all had privacy in our rooms and hardly heard each other except when we gathered together in the sunny living room or kitchen. Every room opens to the courtyard which allows for a wonderful cross ventilation breeze. The kitchen is extremely well appointed with every modern high end appliance (Bosch dishwasher and washing machine and dryer), and a wonderful array of dishes, glasses, mugs, etc. Philippe is extremely generous in leaving paper supplies and items such as coffee and spices. Living in the Latin Quarter was wonderful with all sorts of cafes, markets, and restaurants nearby and the neighborhood is quiet and charming. Every evening we enjoyed walking down the street to Rue Mouffetard to buy wine, cheese and sundries for happy hour and breakfast. We could not have had a better place to stay in Paris!

A dream week in Paris!

Everything about 19 avenue des Gobelins and its attentive host Philippe was 5-star! Thank you Philippe for making your beautiful apartment available to our family for this very special (once in a lifetime) vacation. My wife and I, along with our two sons and their partners, stayed in Philippe's apartment for 7 glorious days during the first week of the French Open tennis championships. The apartment was exceptionally large (for Paris) allowing all couples a welcome degree of privacy. In addition to being spacious the apartment was meticulous, well furnished and stocked with everything we needed. This included two showers and a bathtub along with endless hot water! We also enjoyed the beautiful living room with floor to ceiling windows and elegant shutters. In addition to the 3 bedrooms there was also a den with a pull-out sofa, TV and desk/chair. The Gobelins neighbourhood was also exceptionally convenient. Located in the 5th arrondissement, just outside the busy tourist area, we had access to the transit and bus systems within short walks from our front door. Cafe's, bakery's & markets were also in our neighbourhood. We couldn't have asked for a better location. We highly recommend this apartment and its kind/efficient host Philippe. Thank you again! We will forever treasure our memories of Paris!

Perfection

We so enjoyed our one-week trip to Paris, and this apartment was a huge part of that. Communication with Philippe was easy- he is very responsive and patient (it was my first time with VRBO). The location of this apartment could not be better. The street is beautiful, the Rue Mouffetard market is so close and is just incredible, the Gobelin Metro station is just across the street, and the Place d'Italie Metro station is about a 7 minute walk away. There are many shops all around- cafés, boulangerie, restaurants, pharmacies, wine shops, larger grocery stores, fromagerie, florists, and more. We really appreciated the early check-in, and were met right out front upon our arrival. Philippe was sure to message us before we arrived, and got our flight info so he knew when to expect us, and then texted again once we landed. Our tour of the unit was really helpful. The unit itself is just as picture- it is very big, very French, and very well maintained. It very much felt like home. The building itself is quiet. We felt very safe in this unit, in this neighbourhood. We traveled with myself, my partner, my elderly mother and our two young children, and this unit provided lots of space for us to have time together and to also have some alone time to recharge. This apartment and manager are so deserving of their 5 star reviews! Bon voyage!
