Cette maison de quatre chambres et trois salles de bain et demie avec vue sur le canal dans la communauté fermée de Pirate's Cove possède plus de 800 pieds carrés de terrasse avant et arrière avec une vue imprenable sur le canal menant à Roanoke Sound et au centre-ville de Manteo. Située dans la section Hammock Village de Pirate's Cove, cette maison dispose de planchers de bois franc, de tapis dans les chambres et est idéale pour une ou deux familles ou un grand groupe de pêcheurs. Le bain à remous privé est situé sur le pont arrière principal, peut accueillir confortablement 6 adultes et donne sur le marais du canal Roanoke Sound, parfait pour les couchers de soleil et très privé.

Les installations sur place comprennent une piscine, un port de plaisance et un restaurant (Blue Water Grill et Raw Bar), des courts de tennis, une aire de jeux pour enfants, un centre de remise en forme. We just spent a week and everything was absolutely amazing! The view of the sound was stunning, the dock was beautiful, the setup was perfect for everything we needed. Brought our golf cart and skiff and the carport had plenty of space to store the trailer, cart, and our bikes. The owners were very communicative and helpful, giving detailed instructions on everything to make you feel comfortable. The pool is right up the street, the marina shop had everything we needed to restock. The setup was great for our family. Note to those who don’t visit Carolina beach houses often, yes it’s an older house with its quirks, yes it’s humid, and there’s a lot of stairs. But as far as a wonderful location and having everything you need to have an amazing week, this place is it.

The house is beautiful and in a great location, which is why we chose it. However, we did have some issues during our stay, including a top-level air conditioner that did not work properly and towels and linens that were worn and needed replacement. Several of the doors did not lock. There was mold on shower curtains, broken mirrors along with holes in the ceilings with drywall hanging. The biggest disappointment came after checkout, when we were notified four days later that we owed an additional 200 cleaning fee. We strongly disagree with this charge. We followed all checkout instructions, took out the trash, emptied the dishwasher, and left the home in good condition. We were shocked by claims that the house was left “trashed” with feathers all over the home, trash left behind, missing cushions, and moved furniture. That did not reflect the condition we left it in.We contacted the owner and asked for pictures which were never received. We also asked whether there possibly had been a mixup in homes from the cleaning company but never received a response. While we liked the location, being accused of damaging the home and charged an unwarranted cleaning fee was very disappointing, and we would not rent this property again.

Wonderful house! Beautiful views! Hurricane Erin showed up, but this house not on ocean island.. got lucky! No evacuation..just spitting rain off and on and wind... didnt dampen our fun! You willsurely enjoy this house. Nuce neighborhood and pool is great.

Amazing Location!

The complex this house is located in is really nice and centrally located to the other islands. We enjoyed being able to use the complex amenities and the house itself created a very comfortable stay.

Great Family Ecperience

This was great home with everything that you needed. Our family really enjoyed the home and the open layout. The hot tub was a hit for our son and family. Manteo was a pleasure to visit with many many restaurants and bars and grills to choose.

It was absolutely perfect

We rented this beach house for our wedding weekend. My bridal party got ready here, the place was beautiful. The owners are absolutely amazing and the easiest to work with. The house was perfect and everyone loved it, our stay was everything we dreamed of. Now we are honeymoon bound, thank you Hammock 50 for our amazing time and memories!

Daughters wedding!

What a wonderful house! It was wedding central for my daughter wedding at the Pavilion. Just a short walk/drive to the venue! Plenty of room, gorgeous views! We got Some stunning photos! Great communication with our hosts! I loved everything about it!! I would recommend this house to anyone staying at Pirates Cove!!!

I really loved the house, location and the views. My family of 10 enjoyed crabbing off the dock and the hot tub. There were a few things like the down stairs bedrooms had some dirty walls from smashed bugs on the walls from prior guests. Also, the double doors on main floor didn’t work easily so couldn’t use . The large bedroom door on main floor didn’t lock from outside. If you want to prepare meals in, bring your own pans, and sharp paring knives. Other than that, the house was beautiful and everyone loved the bed mattress. Will definitely stay there again.

Peaceful and Beautiful Family Getaway

Really enjoyed our stay at Hammock 50! The location was perfect for a quiet weekend spending quality family time together! The view from the upstairs living area was beautiful. The house layout suited our family perfect! Overall the house had what we needed to make our stay comfortable. The kitchen, lacked on a few things, but didn’t deter us from cooking and enjoying meals together. The owner was very responsive to all my inquiries and we would stay at Hammock 50 again.

Great Location and Lots of Room

We loved the location of the house and it has plenty of room for a big family or group. The house is in need of updating - the furnishings have some wear and the bathrooms are very dated and really need sprucing up. Overall though we enjoyed our stay and love the neighborhood. The owner is very responsive and we very much appreciate that.

Beautiful property!

A beautiful home in a wonderful gated community. Convenient location, roomy and comfortable. Some deferred maintenance needs, including a couple of ceiling leaks that need to be repaired. Two flights of steps to access living space so not good for anyone with limited mobility. But nicely laid out for families or groups of friends.

Two families that live in Roanoke, Virginia own Hammock 50 @ Pirate's Cove. The families owned a whole grain bread store in Roanoke, Virginia from 1995-2002. It's at this point that they discovered the Outer Banks of North Carolina and the breathtaking vistas of the shore. Soon after this, they purchased the home from a sea captain and began the journey.

'When are we going to get there,' is what we heard from the backseat as we headed down the road to OBX about 10 years ago. When these six children finally got there, they discovered the many adventures that OBX offered. And, Pirate's Cove seemed like the perfect place to drop anchor. We want to share our little oasis with the many travelers that choose the Outer Banks. The six kids live in Roanoke, VA with their beautiful moms and fishing crazy fathers. One day we will get there again, ENJOY!

Did I mention the views. The gorgeous sunsets over Manteo, the continuous parade of fishing boats. Two pools, a fitness center, two play areas, tennis courts, a marina, a restaurant and raw bar and that's not even leaving the campus. Great for biking, walking, strolling or generally just hanging out with a favorite beverage looking over the Roanoke Sound and contemplating life's next adventure. Which could be the Aquarium, the Sand Dunes, the Beach, Kitty Hawk Kites, the Wright Brothers Memorial, a great restaurant, the Tanger Outlets, the Whalebone Tackle Shop, the cute shops in Manteo, etc.
