Perfect beachfront home with dramatic views of the Pacific Ocean and panoramic views from Monterey to Santa Cruz! Spectacular 3000 square foot home at Pajaro Dunes located on a secluded expansive beach on the magnificent Monterey Bay coastline.

The main house has three bedrooms--all with an ocean view. The Guesthouse is perfect for teenagers, kids or a separate family with 1-Queen bed, 4-Twin beds and a full bathroom.

The kitchen is fully stocked and equipped for your cooking needs. Just bring your food.

One of the few Pajaro homes that you can drive right to the front door--most homes in the area are accessed by a long boardwalk. The driveway will accommodate two cars, with nearby street parking for additional cars.

Pajaro Dunes has 24-hour security, biking & jogging trails, volleyball and basketball courts. The tennis courts are 1-block from the house. Kayaking and bird watching at Elkhorn Slough is ten minutes away.

Nearby cities such as Santa Cruz, Monterey and Carmel are only a 20-30 minutes away including famous golf courses, restaurants and the Monterey Bay Aquarium.

We had a wonderful family reunion at Pajaro Dunes. There were 30 of us and we rented 4 houses all within walking distance of each other.The house we rented was right on the beach and the view is amazing. We had 8 people stay in the house and in the onsite ADU.It has a well-stocked kitchen. We love to cook, so we appreciated all of the spices, cooking utensils, pots/pans, all the wonderful serving trays, and multiple sets of dishes, cups, utensils.The decor is very "ecletic". A little dated, but it looks like the owners may have traveled and collected pieces from foreign countries.Overall, the house met our needs and the hot tub, location on the beach and accomodations for up to 10 drew us to it.Our stay was comfortable, relaxing, and fun.

The layout of the house is interesting with upstairs only accessible by outside staircases, but it was expected based on home listing and reviews. The temperature inside was very comfortable without air conditioning with highs in mid-60s at the end of June. I was nervous about this coming from South Carolina where AC is a necessity, but it was very comfortable. The host was very responsive. The view of the beach and ocean from the house was amazing! It was great having an ocean view from the bedrooms too each with their own balcony.

Location is unbelievable. Highlights are the views from the deck and the hot tub. Kitchen and linens / towels well stocked. Excellent communication with owners. House layout is very odd, with essentially only two bedrooms accessible by exterior stairs. we made it work for our family of five, but it costs a lot of money to have a guest sleeping in a living room pullout couch.

Oh yes the kitchen was more than supplied with everything you could ever need. Perfect view. Was not crazy about going outside to go to bedrooms but I made the stairs. I can’t call the downstairs couch a real bedroom but it would work for a bed for someone. All in all it was great and we had a wonderful memorable time. Thank you.

Why they chose this property

The home belonged to my wife's aunt who bought the home in 1973. When she passed in 1997 the family sold the home. We always would say "wouldn't it be nice to one day own a home like Aunt Esther had at Pajaro Dunes"? Fast forward to 2002 while surfing the net for homes for sale at Pajaro Dunes I noticed a picture of the deck and the description of the home and we we couldn't believe the house was for sale again. We bought it back right then and have had it in the family ever since. We are happy to share with others this unique home and all the memories that are created there.
