Expansive views in large, open home

We loved staying at this property. It has a welcoming, open feel! Owners were responsive and helpful, and the house is well stocked with all necessities! The views are spectacular and it was so wonderful to see how they changed!

Great experience!

We loved staying at this gorgeous house. The views are absolutely stunning. The house was fully stocked, and in great condition. We loved picking veggies from the garden and the hosts had great communication. The house is on three levels, so be sure your comfortable with lots of stairs!

Terrific view of San Francisco

The property is absolutely fantastic. We had an amazing time waking up to that beautiful San Francisco view of the bay. The house had all the comfort of home. Anything you need was there? The property owners were fantastic and very friendly. They were very helpful with any questions or issue.

Perfect Vacation!

This property had everything we needed and more. It’s definitely a crowd pleaser. The views are spectacular! Myself , my 35 year old daughter , my 13 year old granddaughter , and my 75 year old mother had all our needs met! Owners are very easy to contact when we had a couple of questions during our stay. Great House

Great views and sunsets. Every night is different. Wonderful hosts. Very responsive. House is very comfortable and spread out on 4 levels. Well stocked kitchen. Would rent it again.

Beautiful Home

Beautiful home in every aspect. Gorgeous views of the Bay Area. The house is clean, spacious and fully equipped with all the necessities. Our best stay ever!

Tom and Brigitte are simply excellent hosts and their home is the best home that we have rented. Their home is everything we expected (from the writeup) and more. Their attention to detail, in the way they thought through what a person at home would want was flawless. We come to Oakland regularly to visit our two daughter and their families. Our grandchildren (5 & 4) took turns staying with us and we had a great time. We have nothing but praise for the property and the owners! Bill and Terry H.

Incredible, comfortable and beautiful

I left a little piece of my heart in this outstanding home. It's spacious and lovely with unparalleled view of the Bay, sunsets to make your heart flutter, convenient work spaces for working remotely, and multiple outdoor spaces. We had a blast with the six of us cooking Thanksgiving dinner in the large and well equipped kitchen and we were comfortable relaxing in the family room. Additionally, communication with the owners was exemplary. Lasting family memories were made in this home and we will never forget our time in this special place.

Beautiful Views and Amazing Stay

The pictures online do not do this property justice - the views are absolutely spectacular. On a good day, there is a view of both the Bay and Golden Gate Bridge. The chefs kitchen came in handy when making dinner for the family and the multiple decks were our favorite past time while enjoying a glass of wine. The hosts even left us some honey from their private bee hives. And a bonus was that there was a destination charger in the garage - perfect for our Tesla. The hosts were very responsive. We would definitely stay again. Thanks Tom and Bridgette!

Didn't want to leave

We had an absolute magical stay at Tom and Brigitte's home. Everything about it makes you feel like you are their dear friend visiting for a spell. The home is spacious, clean, and cozy to the fullest. The little treats that made this home a true delight: the Sibley trailhead across the street, the Tesla charger, the organic garden, the larger washer/dryer on the main floor, natural cleaning products, organic mattresses, a well-stocked kitchen, books-on-books-on-books, views-on-views-on-views. We traveled with our toddler and as an admittedly anxious mom, I worry that rentals will smell like cigarettes or house other strong odors/fragrances, have sharp edges, and be sprayed with herbicides and pesticides. I needn't have worried with Tom and Brigitte's home. The minute we walked in the door, we let out a huge sigh of relief. The home seemed to wrap us up in a warm hug after a long day of travel. We felt safe and more importantly, I knew my child was safe in this home. While there are many many stairs, we took climbing them in stride. Our legs are now toner and our cardio much-improved. The home had everything we needed and when it was sadly time to leave, our toddler told us he didn't want to. He wanted to "stay in the house with the big bathtub". Even a three-year old can tell just how special a place this is. Thank you, Tom and Brigitte, for sharing your home with us. May we all take care of it.
