The Sunshine Cottage was exactly as advertised. Very cute and more spacious than expected. Though we didn't eat in, the pantry and kitchen were well stocked with everything needed to prep and cook delightful meals. The bedrooms offered plenty of closet space and the beds and bedding were attractive and comfortable. As a bonus, the backyard seating, lighting and firepit made it delightful in the summer mornings and evenings. The neighborhood was fun to walk or run around in and Bay St. with its large antebellum houses was 10-15 minutes on foot. My wife and I would have loved to have had more time in Beaufort, and Karen's cottage was a major highlight. Will definitely stay again the next time in town.

The cottage is perfect and we hope to stay next year for 4 weeks. Bed comfy , fireplace handy when temps were chilly and everything one would need was provided. Everything great about Beaufort was in walking distance from the cottage. Also we appreciated the parking pass to Hunting Beach. Well worth the trip,

This was a great place to stay for exploring coastal SC and GA. Easy parking, walkable to a few shops and restaurants, easy access to plenty of other places to explore (the Hunting Beach pass was a great bonus!), super comfy beds, a well-equipped kitchen, and a nice outdoor seating space. I’ve stayed at a lot of rentals and there were a lot of nice little touches at this one (including quality TP! LOL). I was a little off put by checkin requests that included taking the trash bins to the curb on our first night there (with other people’s trash) and requests to water plants (I’m not family staying at your place for free)…but the check out actions were so simple, it made it all seem much more reasonable. Would definitely stay again.
