Great Views on a Mtn.

We really enjoyed the stay. House was very clean and the views were amazing. Larry the owner was always available and very helpful when needed. We will be staying here again!

Relaxing Stay

We had a much needed relaxing stay at Grandfather Mountain. Younger adults enjoyed hiking and we all enjoyed the pool. Plenty of room for our party of 11

Perfect location for snow tubbing

Awesome experence

The view was majestic and the property was awesome. Plenty of rooms and games to keep everyone happy. Loved this place and will come again!

Family Vacation

The property is in a great location and easy to drive to. It is very well maintained and had everything that we needed for our stay away home. Communication with the owners was great. Looking forward to visiting again.

Grandfather mountain getaway

This property had a spectacular view of Grandfather Mountain. Enjoyed evening meals on the covered deck. Well stocked kitchen. Centrally located to many points of interest.

Amazing Vacation Home in Banner Elk

This is the second time we have stayed here. This home is absolutely beautiful, clean and in a great location. We would definitely rent again. The owner, Larry, is excellent to work with. If I could give 10 stars, I would!

Wonderful Getaway

This home was beautiful and the view of Grandfather Mt is amazing! The location was convenient to Banner Elk, Boone and Blowing Rock. This home has plenty of room and we loved the game rooms with a pool table, foosball and air hockey. The owners have been great to work with and we will definitely rent with them again!

Our family had a wonderful visit to the mountains and really enjoyed staying at this beautiful well maintained house. It was very spacious and well equipped for a relaxing time and the location is excellent for short rides to numerous area attractions. Wonderful!

Absolutely wonderful stay! We had three different families stay at this house ranging from toddler to grandparent and it was fantastic. The space was extremely accommodating. The game room was a huge hit and the kitchen had EVERYTHING we needed for dinners. We would love to stay at this property again next year for another ski trip. Would absolutely recommend this place!

Grandfather Mtn Retreat

This was the perfect home for our entire family to spend our summer vacation. The accommodations were beautiful; kitchen well stocked with supplies and the views were spectacular from all the decks. The owners were very helpful in making suggestions for places to visit and restaurants to eat at. Thanks to Larry and Linda for sharing their beautiful mountain home!!

Christmas in Banner Elk

Overall, we had a great time. The cabin was very nice, with plenty of room for our family of 10, and well equipped. The location was ideal for tubing at Hawk Nest and skiing/snow boarding on Sugar Mountain. We would not hestitate to book this property again. Thanks for sharing your place with us.

Memorable stay!

First time staying at this property and it was everything and more than the description. The house was very clean, well maintained and well stocked with everything we needed to say the least. The road was narrow but easy to navigate and because it was paved the whole way made it even better. Pretty sure we’ll be staying here the next time we’re in this area. Thanks again for great memories made!

Thanksgiving Stay

The house is well appointed. The kitchen had everything needed to cook a Thanksgiving meal for 10 people. The house is much easier to access compared to other mountain homes. The central location was convenient for activities in Boone, Banner Elk, and Blowing Rock.

Family winter vacation

This house was wonderful for our family. There were 9 of us—5 adults and 4 children! It was spacious with sleeping arrangements for all of us. We love to cook and eat together. Big kitchen, well equipped! 2 dining tables and I outside on the deck.

Family weekend

We had an amazing weekend here. The house is so charming and feels like home. The sleeping arrangement was perfect for our group. Everyone had plenty of personal space. We also enjoyed hanging out together in the common areas and cooking dinner every night in the well stocked kitchen. 10 out of 10 experience!!

Wonderful Home!

We have stayed at this lovely home for the last 3 years and have never been disappointed. The home is spacious and cozy with an entrance that is stair and incline free. The kitchen is fully stocked and there are many amenities. The view is spectacular and could stand as the sole reason to rent the home. It's centrally located to the sights, restaurants, and grocery stores. The owners/hosts are extremely responsive and open to assist with questions about the area with suggestions for anything from hiking trails to restaurants.

Wonderful Home

This is the 2nd year that we have reserved this lovely home for a mountain getaway. Same as last time, it does not disappoint! The views are amazing, the house is spacious and well stocked, the ease of a main level driveway with no entrance steps is an important key element for unloading and loading at arrival and departure. The allowed use of the garage for parking is a great amenity. We love the location as it's near restaurants, shops, sights, and activities. Highly recommend!

Beautiful Location!!

The house was wonderful, and we had more than enough room! The only problem was is that I wished I could’ve booked it for longer. A weekend was definitely not enough to stay in this great place with a view of Grandfather mountain. The creek side and the pool were added bonuses! Of course, our teenager loved the game tables. The owner was very nice to call a few days ahead of our booking to give us a heads up on the weather and the amenities of the house!

Wonderful!

This is our second year staying here and we will be returning next year as well! It is a beautiful home. Very clean, well supplied with lots of room and fun things to do. It has a pool table, foosball and air hockey as well at great seating, large tvs and tables to play games. The view from the deck of Grandfather mt. is also beautiful. The location is central to Boone, Blowing Rock, Banner Elk, Beech Mt. and West Jefferson and a number of wineries as well. The owners are great to deal with and communication is quick and helpful. We enjoy renting here!

Fully functional beautiful home

Four day stay December 23-27, hoping for a white Christmas, instead we had warmth and lots of rain! Beautiful area that we fully enjoyed Saturday afternoon through Sunday. We did get to go snow tubing on Sunday and had a wonderful family day on Christmas, despite the constant rain. We ventured out on Tuesday to Mast General and Boone and had to avoid some flooded streets but it was still pretty. Would love to come back again sometime to see what we did not get to see and hike.
