Casa corsa (Corsican house) for 6 people, 3 bedrooms, with private terrace, air conditioning.
Located in our large Mediterranean garden of 6000m ² where you will appreciate peace and quiet.

Close to the beach of Calvi (200m), the city center / port, (500m), shops (100m) and leisure activities (diving, surfing, tennis ...).

Arranged on two floors, it consists of a living room with TV / TNT screen (68cm), a kitchen equipped with dishwasher, a bedroom with a double bed 160/200 cm, two bedrooms with each a double bed 160/200 cm and a single bed 90/200 cm, a bathroom with shower and toilet, washing machine, a private outdoor terrace with garden furniture.

You have access to our natural Mediterranean garden of 6000m ² sported and calm. Shared relaxation areas in the garden are equipped (barbecue, garden furniture, hammocks, sun loungers, deckchairs) to fully enjoy the unspoiled nature in the charming seaside town of Calvi. A small herb garden is available (depending on the season).

Calvi airport 7 km, Calvi train station 5 minutes, Ile-Rousse ferry terminal 20 km.

All our accommodations are located 300m away from the sandy beach of Calvi, the lively city center / port, (500m), shops (100m) and leisure activities (diving, surfing, tennis ...).
Ideal localisation, car not necessary.

Calvi airport 7 km, Calvi train station 5 minutes, Ile Rousse Ferry terminal 20 km.

For all rentals, you will have access to our large 6000 m² Mediterranean garden full of greenery. Places to relax are arranged in the garden (barbecue, garden furniture, hammocks, deckchairs) to take full advantage of the unspoilt nature within the charming seaside town of Calvi.
A aromatics herb garden is available (depending on the season).

Great place to stay

The instructions provided ahead of time were easy to follow and we had a lovely stay. Some minor inconveniences [air conditioner ceased working and suite was being shown for sale] but above that it was comfortable and accommodating. It's very close to the pool and the fitness rooms and tennis court - parking was never an issue regardless of there not being an assigned spot. Be prepared to purchase things like scrubbers for the dishes, paper towels, garbage bags and hand soap for the bathrooms in addition to your own toiletries and groceries. Plenty of towels and sheets and the washer/dryer are modern. Kitchen appliances and dishes/glasses were well supplied. Would stay there again, and would recommend to others.

Très jolie casa à Calvi

Bel accueil de Patrick. Emplacement idéal, près de tout: centre-ville, citadelle et plage fabuleuse. Maison bien équipée. Séjour très agréable.

Très bon séjour

Nous avons énormément apprécié la qualité d'accueil de Patrick et ses nombreux bons conseils. Nous avons bien profité du jardin et des nombreux équipements mis à disposition . En résumé parfait pour les vacances en famille.

Stechmücken und Wespen

Sehr viele Stechmücken und Wespen in der Parkanlage. Daher ist der Terrassenbereich nur sehr eingeschränkt nutzbar. Deshalb sind wir auch vorzeitig abgereist. Fenstertür im oberen Stockwerk lässt sich nicht fest verschließen, wird vom Wind aufgedrückt und dann regnet es auch mal rein. Waschmaschine für uns nicht nutzbar, da voller Schimmel. Küche ausreichend ausgestattet, Betten in Ordnung. Man ist schnell an Strand und in der Stadt. Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Vermietern Marie-Josée.

Sehr schön

Einfach toll, der Garten und das Haus super. Alles vorhanden was nötig ist. Ebenfalls der Weg zum Strand und zum Meer ist in wenigen Gehminuten erreichbar. Die Vermieter völlig unkompliziert und nett. Auch für Kinder ist dieses Haus super, sie können sich im schattigen Garten beschäftigen. Wirklich weiter zu empfehlen.

A wonderful stay in a great unit!

We had a great vacation in this condo unit in Waikoloa Colony Villas. It was like "coming home" as we had stayed in this same unit 7 years ago on our daughter's Wish Trip through Children's Wish Foundation. (We did not know it was the same unit until our arrival as it has been repainted and redecorated since that stay. I believe it is under new ownership ). The unit had everything we needed: the kitchen was very well stocked, it had a new washer and dryer, and chairs, umbrellas, coolers, and boogie boards for the beach were available. As other reviewers have mentioned, it is in a great location near the pool and tennis courts. Sancie, the owner, was very responsive and accommodating. Thanks for a great stay!

Wunderbares altes Haus in traumhaftem Garten

Schon zweimal waren wir nun als Familie (drei Kinder, zwei Erwachsene) bei Jean-Marie in seinem traumhaften Garten und in diesem wunderschönen alten korsischen Haus. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und die ruhige und sympathische Atmosphäre sehr genossen. Die Lage des Anwesens ist ausserdem top: zu Fuss 5 Minuten zum Strand, 10 Minuten ins Zentrum von Calvi (Hafen) und 2 Minuten zum Einkaufszentrum. Und der Garten mit dem grosszügigen und schattigen Sitzplatz ist wirklich einmalig schön. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Villa pour 6 personnes calme, propre,décoration soignée et avec tout l'équipement nécessaire (bonne literie,télé,appareils électroménagers...) entourée de verdure car située au fond du jardin biologique.Emplacement idéal à 2 pas du centre et de la citadelle et des plages.je recommande ;-)

Good Value for a Clean, Well-Managed Condo

Our choice of this Waikoloa Colony Villa (a unit in a condo development) was dictated my the fact that our grown daughter was attending an academic conference at the principal hotel at Waikoloa. As it turned out, we enjoyed it very much. Here are the strengths: 1) Clean, roomy and up to date, with a well-outfitted kitchen. 2) Excellent air conditioning, a real plus during this summer's unprecedented heat wave. 3) The location, though not exceptionally close to the best beaches, was central. Every destination on the Kona side was within an easy drive. 4) The pool, which our granddaughter loved, was only steps away, as was the tennis court. The principal weakness, and the only reason we didn't give the property a 5-star rating, is that there is no dedicated parking for this particular unit -- guests must jockey on a first-come basis to find a slot among the non-assigned spaces. As it happened, this was a problem only during our first day/night; nevertheless, upon our arrival there were no nearby slots available. In our party of five, we had two rental cars, neither of which could be parked near enough to make for easy unloading. My impression is that the parking problem is sporadic, rather than ongoing for this unit, thus I would recommend it.

Okay Property

Overall, a nice place and quiet. It was clean and well cared for. Beds wre comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with plates, cups, etc. The area was quiet. No real complaints about the property.

Perfect Unit

We stayed in this unit in March for 11 days. We were two families - 4 adults and two teenagers. The size of the townhome was a perfect size for the two families. Very spacious, 3 bedrooms, bright, high ceilings, nice patio with table and chairs. It had a very private patio backing a lava bank. The kitchen was large and fully stocked with all the necessary dishes and pots and pans for cooking. The tennis court was right outside the unit and the pool and BBQ were located a couple minutes walking distance. I would definitely stay here again.

We Will Be Back!!

This was our 3rd stay at Colony Villas, and this was by far the nicest unit we have stayed in. The downstairs has new carpeting, the furniture is nice and new, the bed linens are really nice, and the TV’s have been updated in every room. The unit is right across the street from the pool and grills, which is nice. It makes it easy to get to the pool, but you’re not so close that you hear all of the pool noise. The back lanai is next to the lava, so it is really quiet. There were 5 of us staying, and we all had plenty of room, we never felt like we were on top of each other, and we were even able to have people over for dinner a couple times. Our first day there, there was an issue with the AC, and the owners were right on it and got it fixed right away. The only thing that we didn’t love was not having a reserved parking spot, or being able to park in the garage. You just have to find a open spot, it wasn’t a huge deal, but a reserved spot would have been nice.

Une villa entourée de mimosas

Bon séjour qui nous a bien reposé au calme avec accueil toujours sympa car l’année dernière nous avions loué un F2 vue mer.Nous avons profité tous les jours du barbecue .Les enfants ont joué dans le très grand jardin. En mai , on peut découvrir les fleurs sauvages . J’ai été surpris car la maison n’est pas délimité par une clôture mais finalement c’est encore mieux avec la végétation tout autour . NB : les lits sont neufs et de qualité

la douceur de vivre

Cette maison nichée au fond du jardin nous a enchanté. D'allure très simple, une fois franchie la porte nous avons constaté que le confort intérieur était parfait et la décoration soignée. Nous avons profité du barbecue et apprécié les transats,à l'ombre des mimosas, près de la fraicheur des bambous, au retour de la plage.

Une jolie petite maison corse

voici une maison typiquement corse toute en simplicité et bon goût dans un cadre verdoyant. Le calme et la nature en plein Calvi. Profitez du jardin qui offre des espaces différents et charmants. Nb: le barbecue weber , de bonne taille, est très pratique!

Wir haben die Villa mit vier Leuten bewohnt. Es ist ein sehr gemütliches Haus in einem sehr schönen, großen Naturgarten. Es gibt einen Entspannungsbereich mit Hängematten und einen großen Grill. Obwohl man mitten in der Stadt wohnt, fühlt man sich wie in einem abseits gelegenen, ruhigen Urlaubsort. Die Betreuung durch den Vermieter Jean-Marie war sehr zuvorkommend. Der Aufenthalt hat uns allen gut gefallen

Urlaub in Calvi

Wir haben die Villa mit vier Leuten bewohnt. Es ist ein sehr gemütliches Haus in einem sehr schönen, großen Naturgarten. Im Untergeschoss der Villa liegt eine kleine Ferienwohnung, die einen separaten Zugang hat. Die Schlafzimmer (3) sind geräumig, die Küche hat einen großen Gasherd, an dem man sehr gut kochen kann. Das Wohnzimmer ist klein, aber die meiste Zeit sitzt man eh im großen Garten. Die Mahlzeiten haben wir allesamt draußen genommen. Es gibt einen Entspannungsbereich mit Hängematten und einen großen Grill. Obwohl man mitten in der Stadt wohnt, fühlt man sich wie in einem abseits gelegenen, ruhigen Urlaubsort. Auf dem Grundstück liegen noch einige kleine Appartements, die man aber wegen der Weitläufigkeit kaum wahrnimmt. Die Betreuung durch den Vermieter Jean-Marie war sehr zuvorkommend. Der Aufenthalt hat uns allen gut gefallen.

Excellent location - great family holiday base

We are a family of four, including a 19 and 17 year-old, who spent the first two weeks of August 2013 in Calvi, courtesy of the Orsonis and their house and "wild garden". The house is located close (but not too close) to the large and well-stocked supermarket (5 minutes walk) and Calvi's lovely beach (7 minutes) and near to the town centre (just over 10 minutes walk, with lots of good family-friendly restaurants). The house has plenty of space (with good sized bedrooms) and a kitchen a family of four could eat and cook in. The lounge (next to the front door) is small; but given there is a fantastic garden area to sit in, it is not a problem. Although there are other holiday apartments in the same block, the well-arranged fences and lovely trees and tropical plants mean you still get a lot of privacy. The Orsonis were really helpful but not intrusive; the town is thriving and has a great atmosphere, with a good range of restaurants where the menu prix fixe was very good. We had a car and travelled down the west coast to sightsee - some glorious scenery and lovely coastline. We took the local train over to Ile Rousse - which was a fun trip; get on at Calvi, not the beach stops, if you want a seat! Overall, this was one of the best places we have stayed at in the last ten years (having had great villas in Sardinia, Croatia, Greece and Spain) - the town is a thriving resort and the Orsonis have a villa that we would happily return to.
