Great summer house with Atlantic ocean views

Very nice summer cottage with an large, amazing deck with ocean views. This house is literally steps from the beach, and just four blocks from the ferry dock and Schooner Inn restaurant. Highly recommend this house. The owners (we spoke with Mary) are very nice and helpful.

Amazing Weekend

Mary was an amazing host. The description and pictures do not do it justice! The outdoor space was amazing and the deck was a perfect place to hang out and barbeque. I am planning to book the same trip next year with Mary. It was the perfect place to stay with friends.

Best location

Close to both the ferry and the beach. We stayed over a busy 4th of July weekend and it was nice to be a short bike ride from the bars and restaurants in Ocean Beach rather than being next door to all the partiers. The OBP ferry is much calmer than the OB ferry as well. The house is cozy but with so much great outdoor space our family of 7 never felt cramped. Will definitely book again.

Best time in OBP!

The location of being so close to the beach allowed for great views from the deck plus a short walk to the ocean. We enjoyed all of our meals outdoors on the large deck which features a great BBQ grill and plenty of seating. An outdoor shower and bathroom are big pluses. The owners were very responsive and helpful. We loved our stay and look forward to returning. A great time was had by all!

Beautiful Stay close to the beach

Frank & Mary’s house in OBP is beautiful! The house was clean and so cozy and cute inside. Beautiful view of the ocean, steps from the beach and a gorgeous deck to enjoy the views! There were lots of beach chairs & an umbrella available for our use which made our trips to the beach so enjoyable. The only problem was that I wish we stayed longer! We will definitely be back!

Great Beach House

Mary was a fantastic host. She was great at communicating and the house was well stocked and organized. We really enjoyed the beautiful views from the giant deck. Everyone was raving about that! The downstairs bedrooms were very comfortable and upstairs loft was as pictured we were bumping our heads on the ceiling and felt like kids up there but that was part of the fun. I would definitely stay here again!

Weekend gateway

My friends and I had an amazing time at Frank and Mary’s place. It was a low key girls weekend gateway and it was the perfect location - steps away from the beach and still close to bars/restaurants. Mary was super responsive with any questions we had and extremely accommodating with everything! The pictures of the home do not do the place justice. I will most definitely be back!

Beautiful home in stellar location

Wonderfully caring owner and a beautiful home in every way. It’s worth it for the expansive deck alone where we spent the majority of our time while here. Fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and you can’t beat sleeping to the sound of the crashing waves. There is no AC but for us being here while it was in the 60s at night we didn’t need it at all. Also, people steered us away from OBP saying it was all partying kids. Not on this block. This is family centric, quiet, and truly lovely. Lastly, it was a great bonus to have the Ice cream shop a 2 minute walk away. We are already dreaming about our next visit.

FI Getaway

We booked this last minute after needing an end of Summer getaway with the kids. We've rented for many years in OBP and this home was just perfect! Great location, a few houses away from the beach, a quiet block, lots of wildlife - we saw the usual FI deer and a fox! The kids really had a great time! The owners were extremely responsive and gave us all the info needed before our arrival. The house had tons of games which the kids enjoyed. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed, and the bbq was kept very clean. The only downside was there was only one bathroom but the outdoor shower made up for it, and the kids happily washed up in there. The large deck was perfect for lounging and eating our meals out on. The view of the ocean from our chairs was perfect, and the sound of the waves was just what we needed. We would definitely rent this home again :)

Great Beach House

Great little clean house with huge deck steps from beach with excellent views. Quiet at night with breeze off the ocean. No A/C so breeze and plenty of fans made sleepIng ok. Owners are very nice, helpful and available.

Just Amazing from A to Z

This was our first time to fire island. Let me start by saying that this was the easiest most detailed organized clean convenient and seamless vacation I’ve ever had. The owners are super organized and extremely helpful. The property has a perfect beach cabin feel ocean front location with a great deck and views. It is perfectly located to get to ocean beach - right around the block from restaurants, market and the ferry. Wonderful breeze at night no AC needed/. House includes every amenity - the host over accommodates it’s incredible I truly can’t wait to go back to this property again.

Cute beach house

Great hosts, super helpful and respectful. Outdoor areas are fantastic, very new and updated deck with a great view of the beach. Loved the outdoor shower. Only cons were that the house was a little tight for 9 of us, and that some nights AC would have been a nice relief. Otherwise great stay, would recommend.

Amazing rental

The owners could not have been more kind, communicative, and helpful, and the house was great. The location was perfect, just steps from the ocean on a quiet street. The deck was lovely with a large table and a great view of the ocean. I highly recommend the house and hope to return.

Great stay

We had a very nice stay. The owners are nice and responsive. The house has a great location and is very comfortable. The deck is amazing. View of the water and close to the beach on the Atlantic side and not far from decent restaurants on the bay side. Full kitchen, good beds, cosy and roomy common areas. We had a great time.

4th of July Weekend Rental

Great experience overall! Frank and Mary are both super responsive and the house has a perfect location as it is steps from the beach. It also has a huge deck that is perfect to hang and grill with friends and/or family!

Fourth of July

We had the best Fourth of July at this rental ! The renters were very responsive and helpful through out the entire process. The location was amazing and just step from the beach. The deck space and views were phenomenal. The house was able to accommodate everyone. The house even had bikes and beach chairs so we didn’t have to bring our own. It was all perfect and I would absolute rent from Mary and Frank again. They were absolutely wonderful !!! Thank you again to them for letting us stay in their beautiful home!

Great Memorial Day Weekend!

A group of nine of us stayed in this house for Memorial Day Weekend and it was FANTASTIC! Property had a great big deck that is brand new and overlooks the ocean. The inside of the house is cozy and has a nice warm beach house feeling. Leading up to the rental, the owners were as helpful as I could have ever asked for and were an absolute pleasure to stay with. This will certainly not be the last time we look to rent this property. Book it before it is too late! You won’t regret it!
