Great beach house

This house has just about everything you need. Close to the ocean, a spectacular deck, clean, comfortable rooms and beds, a well-appointed kitchen, beach chairs, bikes, and a terrific outdoor shower. The hosts are friendly and responsive. Overall, an excellent place for a wonderful beach week.

Family beach home

We stayed at this home in Ocean Bay Park and it could not have been a more convenient and enjoyable beach vacation experience. It is a small number of steps from the beach and you can walk or jump on a bike to get to shops and restaurants if you desire. The home has memorable views of the ocean as well as sunsets over the bay. The home is designed to allow ocean breezes in one side of the home and out the opposite side making you almost feel like you are on the beach when in the home. The home is well appointed and the host, Christina, was available at all times for any questions we may have had about the house or the area.

Booked this amazing property for an annual fire island trip. Always had my eye on this one and all I can say is it exceeded expectations. Property owner was thorough and accommodating with dates (property was booked during covid quarantine). Property was immaculate and spacious. Couldn’t ask for better location. Can’t wait to book again next year!

Beautiful home right near beach

My family and I really enjoyed our weeklong stay at this property. It was very clean and in great condition and in a wonderful location with lots of fun things to do. The manager was very responsive and organized. Great views of the beach and some of the bay as well, made for lovely sunrises and sunsets.

Incredible experience

We stayed for 2 nights in mid-September, everything about the house and it's setting was amazing: the view of the sea from the spacious deck was inspiring; the comfort of the house and its amenities was perfect; the proximity to the beautiful sandy beach was very convenient; the owner was very helpful and made sure we were happy with everything - highly recommended.

Wonderful Fire Island Property

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful home! How can you beat a 25 yard walk to the sand, an ocean view from your deck, and top notch accommodations managed by a conscientious property owner?! We will definitely be back again - this time for a longer stay. The sleeping arrangements and beds were comfortable; kitchen, dining and living room "pit" areas well-suited for large family gatherings; and beach supplies (chairs, umbrellas and bikes) in good condition. Thank you again for a wonderful property and rental experience!

Gorgeous home & fantastic location steps to the ocean.

We had a wonderful stay at Christina’s home. The entire booking to arrival process was easy. The pictures are exactly what you get, and it’s splendid. The house has gorgeous outdoor space (perfect for morning yoga overlooking the ocean) and an open kitchen for delicious feasts. We were 11 adult women and everyone was comfortable (great beds) and happy. Fire Island is a magical place!

Relaxing Fire Island Vacation

This house is fabulous! This year my family and I came here for a week in June. We were all completely comfortable and relaxed during our stay. The owner was so easy to book with and shared everything about the house that we might need. She called upon our arrival to see if we got into the house and to answer any questions we might have. It was a two minute walk to the ocean. This house has amazing views, from the den we could see both the ocean and the bay! It included everything that we could need for recreational use including beach chairs, umbrellas, and bikes. The outdoor shower was delightful. We had such an enjoyable time and plan to come back in the fall again!

For Marooned in Ocean Bay Park

All I can say is that the house and the owners are fantastic. The location cannot be better, located on the beach, it is literally 2 minutes from living room to body surfing in the ocean. The house is beautiful, modern and well laid out with fantastic decks and views and is well-equipped (both for indoor and beach activities). Perfect for families or groups who like to be together and yet have some occasional private time. The owners are lovely to work with and made everything easy, from getting to the house, getting in the house and getting the most out of our stay in OBP--which BTW is a very chill destination. The whole family is talking about when we can return and we all hope it will be soon.

Epic Fire Island Experience

My wife had this idea that we would rent a house in Fire Island for a week and our daughters who live in NYC and their friends would join us for as many days as they could. Well it was a fantastic idea and this house enabled the perfect vacation for everyone. The location is fantastic--right on the beach with great views, and a close walk to The Schooner and the ferry but also a short, enjoyable bike ride from the shops in Ocean Beach. The house itself is amazing. It is open, airy and modern. The kitchen/dining area spills onto the large deck which also has a big dining table. We had many good times grilling out, preparing the meals together and relaxing over a great dinner, sometimes outside, some nights in. The sunken living space was also very fun--two nights we made a fire and most nights we had game night in "the pit". The sleeping accommodations are great--4 bedrooms, 2 full baths and comfortable and clean. While we were there we had mostly awesome weather, but we also had 2 days of rain and cool temps--no problem because this house was fun and cozy even during the rainy weather. The owners were amazing and made our first visit to Fire Island a breeze. They have thought of everything--an ample supply of bikes and beach chairs, recommendations for things to do, TV/sound/wifi, etc. We would absolutely recommend this house to families--it's easy for everyone, and you'll create great memories. Oh--and we were there when the Pokemon craze hit and happy to say there are plenty of Pokemon characters out and about to catch!

Clean and Modern with beautiful ocean views.

Best house we have ever stayed at on Fire Island. We rented this house with another family with teenagers and there was plenty of room for all. The upstairs is an open concept living space that opens up to a very large deck overlooking the ocean. The downstairs has 4 bedrooms and 2 full baths also with ocean views. The outdoor shower is amazing. There were plenty of bikes in good condition and beach chairs. Every night we had a wonderful dinner on the deck. Both the kitchen and outdoor grill were easy to use. You can also walk to the sunken forest from this house. We would definitely stay here again.

Fire Island beach house

At 70, I have never written a blog before, but our recent stay at this incredible beach house warrants my entering the age of social media. The island has just the right feel, low key without pretension or airs. When you get off the ferry you just feel better. No cars, only bicycles, red wagons and your own two feet. Time truly slows down. The house is spectacular, Open, light and spacious. Floor to ceiling windows and sliding doors facing the ocean, well equipped kitchen, large dining area and sunken living room for a late night movie. There is an expansive deck off the 2nd floor from which you can throw a stone and hit the beach. The grill can accommodate a small army. The bedrooms are below, light filled and comfortable. Everything is new, modern, functional and easy to keep clean. There is even a ground level foot shower for sand just inside the gate, as well as bicycles and beach chairs. All you really need to bring is food and a bathing suit. The beach is endless and pristine. Only a few yards down a boardwalk from the house. It's the kind of place that you really don't want to leave. My daughter said it was " the best beach vacation ever" (and we have taken many) and my youngest son, an aspiring actor, said, "since returning to classes, whenever I need to relax, I think of being at the beach house". What more can I say? Oh, yes-- the outdoor shower, heaven

can't wait to come back!

Christina was so easy and professional to work with. The house is by far the nicest on the island, with incredible ocean views. You can even see the bay as well. The deck is huge and the house is seconds from the stile with direct ocean access. The beach is beautiful, the neighbors friendly, beds are very comfortable and I loved the sleeping quarters downstairs with an open floor plan upstairs for entertaining. We used the grill and cooked breakfast in the kitchen - everything we needed was on hand. The sunken living room is warm and inviting. My husband and I agree, we can't wait to do it again!

Best Birthday Week Ever!!

It's a rare occasion that you get to take the middle of the week off, but when we saw this glamorous ocean view building, with ALL the amenities, we decided it was something we needed to take advantage of. The property itself is outstanding, clean, spacious and above all else, luxurious. With the layout of the bedrooms we were able to have a private room, in addition to another couple that stayed, who was on the opposite side of the floor in their own private room. A few friends stayed and there were more than enough comfortable beds to put them up in as well. One friend even remarked "best camp experience ever!", after having bunked up with a couple of others in the bunk bed room, summer camp in style? Indeed. For myself, the best part was being able to decide if I wanted to sunbathe on the deck on a lounge chair, take a nap in the awesomely designed sunken living room with the custom made boat cushions (genius idea), or take a 30 second stroll and jump into the ocean...that is correct... 30 SECONDS to the beach and water! Additionally, cooking in the immaculate layout of the kitchen was so much fun, individually and as a group, we were able to prepare stress free group meals, and either enjoy them outdoors or inside with great views of the ocean and sunsets, it was about as close to heaven on earth as you could want. I also want to thank the owner for having given us great recommendations, on one of evenings we were able to go and play bingo at the Schooner, a local bar, and enjoy some fun drinks. In addition, everything about the place exceeded our expectations, it was really an amazing time and the best way to spend a relaxing birthday week.

We were lucky enough to stay here over the summer and it was simply amazing! The house must be one of the best on the island - it's designed with such meticulous attention to detail and the views are simply breathtaking. Next summer I'll definitely be getting back there for another round of relaxation. Bliss!

Best place for a getaway

My husband and I have rented this house on a couple of occasions with friends and we are sad to leave every time. The house itself is amazing: sprawling views of both the ocean and the bay, spacious, clean and really nicely furnished, although we spend most of our time grilling and sunning ourselves on the huge deck overlooking the ocean. It's a wonderful getaway from the city.

Best house on the Island

Gorgeous house! Steps away from the beach on the ocean side. They provided everything we needed for our stay including bikes and radio flyers to carry supplies to and from the ferry, which was only about a 5 min walk away. I can't recommend this place enough!

AMAZING WEEKEND

I stayed here for the weekend with my girlfriends and had the best weekend ever! The house was gorgeous, right on the beach, walking distance to everything and hands down the best house on Fire Island. We were already talking about going back next summer the minute we got there, and how there is no other house to stay in. The outdoor shower was huge, the deck, the kitchen and the rest of the house was immaculate. Plenty of rooms and space. The owners were incredibly nice and accommodating. Can't wait to go back!

Great New Home

My wife and I recently rented this fabulous new home. It was perfect for us. The open air design was fantastic and we enjoyed sitting on the deck and enjoying some cocktails in the evening. It was spacious, clean and had all the amenities that we needed. We really enjoyed having the bikes at our disposal. This is a perfect Fire Island house for your family, close to beach, NEW and INSANE views from all directions. Cant wait to rent again next year.

Best rental ever

Stayed at this absolutely stunning modern and up to date rental for a girls weekend in June. The open kitchen living room which opened right onto a huge ocean view deck was spectacular. This house has plenty of space to do whatever you would like....read on the deck,watch the sunset from the back deck, BBQ, have family dinner inside or out, even watch a movie in the sunken modern living room. The chairs on the front deck are amazing for suntanning, watching the ocean or keeping an eye on your friends or family at the beach. The beach is literally right there. So if you forget something or need the bathroom don't worry it is so close! I loved that the rooms had plenty of beds. It allowed for privacy between groups so of it couples or families with little kids each group feels like that have their own space. Bikes are fantastic to rode around the Island. Two things. #1. If you are looking for a rustic beach house... This is not it. It is clean lines all remodeled People on the beach were wondering how we rented such a spectacular home. #2. If you are alittle bigger on the bottom half, bring your own beach chair. There are plenty of chairs at the house but they are rather small! That would be the only draw back to this fantastic beach house. Can't wait to go back !!
