Excellent location overlooking the Market Square Stage in downtown Knoxville.
You can exit directly onto the pedestrian only Square to visit award winning restaurants and local shops, or use the Wall Ave. entrance to gain access to the elevator.
University of Tennessee, Theater District, Gay St., Old City, Worlds Fair Site, History Museum, Convention Center are all within close walking distance...
You can park once and never need you vehicle until you leave.
Farmers Market on the Square every Wed and Sat throughout spring and autumn. Along with music on select Tuesday and Thursday nights.
Walking distance also to the new Stadium for baseball and soccer.
Please be aware that this location is in the center of the city.
It is a very lively entertainment district and it is where people to go and have fun all day and sometimes into the night.
We cannot control the noise from outside, although we do supply fans and earplugs.
If you need it absolute quiet at night, this may not be the location for you.

The property was exactly as advertised. The location was wonderful - we were right on the historic square and had easy access to restaurants, stores, and the Farmers market that weekend. That area of the city is boisterous and loud on the weekends, but our host provided ear protection should we need it to help us sleep! Everything was clean and well appointed.

Awesome spot! Great view of the square and walking distance to pretty much anything you need or want. Place is very clean and tidy and even comes with some snacks and drinks in case you arrive hungry.

Very nice place. Clean and has all the amenities. Well thought out. Was able to cook some meals when we were around. Can be somewhat noisy. Not all night and I have been at hotels that were a lot noisier with ac and ice machines. They do provide ear plugs. Convenient location and proximity to market place and downtown. Parking is good. We used the market square parking garage. Inexpensive to park. If you come and go it was from 2-7. Not sure exactly how the rates apply? Our daughter stayed Wednesday night and left Friday morning and was 7. Will book again if available!!

Love the location!! Snacks and drinks are a thoughtful welcome gift. Had plenty of paper products, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner and body wash for our 4 day weekend. No need to back that “extra” just in case. Even had coffee, tea, sweetener to get our morning started. Just the perfect place for 2 couples with 2BR/2BA. Have stayed here before and will stay here again!!

The location of this property is perfect for daytime and night time outings. The washer/dryer, kitchen, and 2 bdrm/2 bath was perfect for us. Easy to uber to and from the airport and around town. So many different restaurants and cafes to choose from. The Saturday Farmers Market was an added bonus!

This lovely flat at 36 Market Square is perfectly located. All the things you want to do (world-class dining, fantastic shopping, great nightspots) are short walks from your door. Even UT sports are only a twenty minute walk. Historic Market Square is THE center of Knoxville and on of THE best locations to stay in downtown.
You won't even need your car during your stay.
Supremely well located next to hundreds of award-winning restaurants, lively bars, art galleries, history museums, and boutique shopping of all kinds, this is the perfect place to stay for those who wish to immerse themselves in downtown Knoxville history and culture. A fair good amount of the places in downtown Knoxville are locally owned and operated, so you can really get a feel for our southern hospitality,

There are several multi level garages close by. Market Square Garage, Langley Garage, Locust St Garage. They are free after7 on weekdays and weekends (providing there is not a special event going on downtown). Also I recommend looking up on the website
www.downtownknoxville.org and it gives live updates on the available parking downtown.
What is there to do on Market Square?

Shopping?
Earth to Old City has be a family run business for over 25 years in downtown Knoxville, Located in the middle of Market Square that will have any unique gifts you might need. Don't forget to check out their newest shop Alice in Appalachia,..Cocktail shopping!

Music?
Preservation Pub has live music every night or Scruffy City Hall for nightly entertainment
or check out a show at the Tennessee or Bijou Theater right down on Gay St.



What are your beds like?
All our beds are Queen size beds. We do have pull our sofa in some locations as well as futons in a couple of Living rooms. Please check with the individual units for further details.

How do we get into the unit?
Approximately three days before check-in a welcome guide will be sent to you giving you the code for the FOB box which will get you into both doors of the building. The entrance on Wall Ave has the elevator. The entrance on Market Stairs is stairs only.
You will also get a code to unit door at that time.
