Beautiful property

I stayed here for a short 2 nights but the property was perfect. Nice spacious and clean apartment in a great location. The pool was very nice and the beaches in this area Are much nicer than downtown. I recommend this unit.. everything was perfect.

We booked this property based on the location and were not disappointed. The view from the balcony is stunning and we enjoyed several beautiful sunsets from there and the beach and left the doors open to listen to the waves at night. Grocery store within walking distance and souvenirs next door. Highly recommend and hope to be back again.

We had a great stay at this property. Property manager was communicative and helpful. Unit is clean and comfortable. Be sure to note the electricity usage cap (we were well below by not using the air conditioner during the day).

Wonderful Vacation

Our stay at Maria's condo was delightful. The unit was tastefully decorated and equipped with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The balcony furniture provided a cozy spot to enjoy the breathtaking views. The Grand Venetian property exceeded our expectations with its five pools and excellent onsite restaurant. The location in the Hotel Zone was ideal, with a plethora of fantastic eateries, grocery stores, and an upscale mall nearby. Overall, our vacation was fantastic thanks to the wonderful accommodations and amenities offered at Maria's condo.

The good…excellent communication with the owners prior to arrival. All questions answered and they were very responsive and allowed for a late checkout, thanks! Condo is on the 7th floor, Tower 3. Very nice large one-bedroom with two full baths. Huge balcony with amazing ocean views from the bedroom. The sunset views, amazing. Falling asleep to the sound of the ocean at night, amazing. The bed, very comfortable. The furniture, comfortable. Four very nice/new beach towels provided. Filtered/bottled water provided. Adequately stocked kitchen with the necessary pots/pans/utensils for cooking. The bad…poor communication with the property manager after arrival. The fridge leaked all over our stuff the whole time we were there. Told the manager twice about this. Was told a technician would be requested. Nothing more was done. Something in the kitchen smelled foul upon arrival. Asked twice about a cleaning person during our stay and offered to pay. Question went ignored or unanswered. I had to find some spray cleaner and clean all kitchen surfaces before the smell went away. No dishwasher or laundry detergent provided. One extra garbage bag provided (for a 10 day stay), sorry that’s just not enough when you’re cooking 1-2 meals a day. The toilet seat in the master bath was loose and slid all around the bowl. The place was great it just needed a few little extras to feel like home. Better communication with the manager would have made a huge difference.

Great Vacation

We stayed in this unit for a month. Maria (owner) was great and very responsive to any questions we had prior to, and during our stay. Crisol (property manager), was also wonderful to deal with. The Grand Venetian is in a perfect location and easy walking distance to Costco, WalMart, Chedraui and Sorianas for groceries and incidentals. The food park across the street was a great option along with several good restaurants nearby There are 5 pools on the property, and although there are people who put towels on chairs to save them, we generally never had a problem getting chairs where we wanted. The condo itself was the perfect size for us. The balcony gave us a great view of the sunsets every night and there was plenty of furniture on the balcony. The only thing to be aware of, is the noise from the club across the river and the parking lot below. This is no fault of the owners in the building, but unfortunately it is very noisy, particularly on the weekends. On the plus side, the club across the river shuts down at 9 pm. Overall, our stay in this condo was very comfortable and enjoyable.

Thank you for having us over , We did enjoy our stay very much , The apartment was beautiful and the views were stunning , I would have loved to have everything ready without having to call the property manger to ask for things , bracelets weren't ready , filtered water was almost empty , for a 5 star property I would have not expect to go to the store to buy an extra garbage bag ,there is no dish washer detergent, but they did have a dish soup , the apartment was not as clean (toilet base was very dirty , decorative bed cover had stains ( I took it off ) ,,overall we did enjoy our selves and had a great time as a family .

The condo was beautiful and nicely decorated with beautiful ocean views.Pros: Grand Venetian property with pools, beach, massage, and amenities. Beautifully decorated condo and great large patio with views from living area and bedroom. Bed had nice sheets and beach towels were provided. There was a washer/dryer in unit and two full baths. We’ve stayed at many condos here and like this layout the best. Cons: Host was friendly, but communication on the slower side. Hot water lasted less than 5 minutes, no matter when we showered. It would have helpful to provide a little dishwasher soap and laundry soap, Especially for towels since we only had 4 for 9 days. Took several days to get water jug refilled. Overall a good stay, but a few extras would have made a difference.

Tout très très correct excepté musique

Seul inconvénient la musique de la discothèque l’autre côté quasiment en face de mon excellent patio, du vendredi,samedi ,dimanche de 13 hres à 21 hres p.m. on ne reste pas sur le patio trop fort musique de discothèque, Malheureusement avec beau soleil et plein d’oiseaux, obligé de fermer porte patio et rester en dedans .Seul inconvénient et jamais vu Kevin supposé être personne ressource, mais très bonne réponse de la propriétaire.

Our condo was very nicely decorated and the owner Maria and her manager Crisol were very helpful for any of our needs. The property was great but...

Firstly, the property has a great view and location and clean. It is close to buses, restaurants and bars. It's about a 45 minute walk to Old Town. The restaurant in the complex is quite good and well priced. The unit itself is well furnished with comfy couches. Check in was easy but the check out was 10:30am which seems early to me, but they were accommodating to leave our luggage in the unit while they cleaned it as our flight was a several hours later. We were able to hang out at the pool until we were ready to go. The property manager was easy to get ahold of when needed. Now for the bad parts. About a week into our trip we washed the bedding only to find the mattress coverslip was torn and pee stained which was disgusting. We called the manager and she came by within a couple of days. We thought they would change the coverslip but they did not and did not while we were there. As far as I know its still on the bed. The master bath sink needed a new plug mechanism but they would not fix that either. There was absolutely nothing in the suite for supplies other than toilet paper and a jug of water. One might expect to find salt/pepper, sugar, cooking oil, dish washer detergent, clothes washing detergent and maybe a few spices. There was nothing. The property manager brought by a few garbage bags. One thing that visitors should be aware of is the parties held in the parking lot of the beach bar next to the complex. The noise echo's right up the side of the building. Three times there were parties until about 5am during our 2 week stay. It was very difficult to sleep. This out of the owners control of course. We started to get the feeling that the owner wasn't willing to put any money into the unit to keep it updated and make sure the travelers are accommodated. If it weren't for the pee stained mattress cover slip we would rate it higher but as it is I wouldn't stay here again. I also wouldn't recommend anyone to stay here unless they specifically say they replaced the slip cover.

Some good / some bad~

Overall, the Grand Venetian is wonderful property. The location is great and the pools, beach and restaurant are fantastic! I enjoyed many aspects of this particular condo - the balcony is amazing and the sunsets incredible! Very comfortable furniture as well outside. The inside is nicely decorated, with an L shaped couch perfect for watching tv. The lower rating is due to plumbing issues with the kitchen sink and toilet. The sliding glass door lock was broken. In my opinion, these things should be checked regularly, so I don't have to report them or wait for repairs on my vacation. For the money spent, there should not be any issues like this. For this reason and the response from the owner, I would not stay here again, or recommend this condo.

Recent stay in PV.

PV is one of our favorite places to visit, and has been since the 70s. The people are great, and it's very affordable including the rental here. We stayed in this building last April, but different owner. We were a bit surprised with this unit, since we owned a place at Sun Scape next door for many years which we also rented out when we weren't there. If I could make a few recommendations, I would suggest that you make every effort to meet and greet your guests when they get there vs. a phone call. Don't ask the guests to go to the store to provide their own garbage bags, coffee, paper towels, and salt/pepper, etc. Have you ever stayed in any hotel that you didn't have coffee in the room to make your own? There was maybe three inches of water in a five gallon jug, and we were told when we emptied it we should put it out in the hall with money for it to be replaced. There was no dispenser for the five gallon jug, so it was too heavy and clumsy to use anyway. I tried to fill ice trays with a smaller jug I purchased, and that didn't work either so I had to go to small bottles Bar soap for showers didn't do it for me along with no shampoo or conditioner in the shower either. This may sound picky, but when I rented my condo next door to guests I provided water with a dispenser, garbage bags, coffee, paper towels, salt/pepper, and had my maintenance crew install a dispenser in the shower for body wash, shampoo and conditioner. They could use their own if they wanted, but it was provided. The unit could have been cleaned a bit better as well. Maybe the maid just had an off day, but fingerprints were on appliances, and the furniture should have been moved to sweep. There was a partial bag of ice frozen tight to the shelf in the freezer. We will continue to use VRBO in the future, and will end up back in PV again down the road. I hope this helps.

Wonderful 4 day stay

We chose this condo to spend the last few days of our vacation in Mexico and we were not disappointed. The condo is very well appointed and in an excellent location in the building. We enjoyed all of the facilities including the on site restaurant. The condo itself was spotless and we enjoyed many hours on the expansive terrace reading, relaxing, and watching dolphins and whales. I would not hesitate to recommend this property.

Great place - be sure to tell taxi to go to correct place:)

Overall, a great bargain and very nice condo. Our arrival process was a bit stressful because I couldn't get data on my phone upon arrival in Mexico and the address I had saved was not recognizable by our taxi driver. Fortunately for us, Rai called to inquire as to our delay and she guided us to the property. So big shout out to our host for going the extra effort.
