Perfect stay!

Easy check in with super nice point of contact. I loved that the unit had its own washer and dryer. Huuuuggwwe jaccuzi tub on deck. Wonderful time. Will be back

The property is extremely lovely. Well maintained, friendly staff, multiple pools to choose, close to many restaurants and bars. We are planning to return in 2021. A bonus is the proximity to the airport which only 15 min. ride.

Sun and fun in PV

Michael is a great property manager. The apartment is as pictured. Unfortunately the jacuzzi takes up almost all the space on the balcony facing the ocean so there are only plastic chairs and no table.

The condo was somewhat satisfactory. This evaluation is based on the fact that the condo needs updating. The bed was in a sad state because of stains on the mattress and bedcovers. The dryer control is broken and needs repairs. There is a lot of noises emanating from a nearby beach club.

HI Louise, Sorry to hear that you were not fully satisfied with the place. Did you bring these to the property manager's attention.? Once he informed me of the stains, I asked him to replace the mattress and fix the knob right away. That is why we have a property manager in the same complex to address any issue right away. Great Complex

The complex is great! 41/2 stars in my opinion. In a good location for access to all kinds of restaurants and activities within walking distance. There is a very reasonably priced restaurant/bar area beside the pool area's that has very good food! This unit was disappointing. It requires TLC. Some furniture and kitchen supplies need replacing. Very small area to sit on deck because of Hot Tub (which we did not use) takes up most of space on the deck. THE biggest issue was the bed that is advertised as a queen, is NOT a queen! It is a full size or double as we call them. Big uncomfortable difference compared to a queen!! If you use the oven, be very careful as the oven handle the burner knobs and the whole front of the stove gets very hot and you could easily burn yourself. I hate to provide this review because the unit could be very nice! Several little things need to be fixed as well.

Hi T.C. Sorry you did nit enjoy the stay at our place. I am surprised of the comments though as we were there right before you and made sure the place was neat and appliances were in working condition. The bed is Queen and was purchased as such from Costco. Regards; Hassan The balcony is built by builder and all pics showed the area and the bat tub is a unique asset but you did not like to use it.

Loved it at Grand Venetian

Great 2 weeks (Dec 17 -31) at the end of 2022 in this 1 bedroom condo on the 9th floor with lock box for passports etc. Great water pressure and hot water. A a great view of the bay and wonderful facilities (4 pools, jacuzzis, workout room etc). North tower (?) of 3 towers. Property manager Michael also lives at the complex and immediately returned emails / phone calls. Nice guy. Allowed us a late check out. Very generous. Restaurant (?) across the river sometimes plays loud music but it was the holidays and done by 9 pm. Seemed like everyday was Fiesta Friday at restaurants, the malls, etc! We didn't mind. Modern mall next door (la Isla) with Starbucks and a VIP Cinepolis theatre. Most expensive theatre in PV, at about 170 pesos. At other theatres, like at Plaza Caracol - Cinemex, and at the mall across from the crusie ship location, cost is about 70 pesos. Wed is half price day, so about 42 pesos person! Most movies showing in Spanish, but some showings (evenings) are in English with Spanish subtitles. Don't trust the internet info for English showings. Many restaurants along the main drag outside the complex. Some comparable in price to US/Canada (La Dolce, Barrio Bistro, Zenizas, La Caba Argentina, Madalena, Le Leche), and others much cheaper (Food Park, Zeferinos, Punto Mariscos, Opa greek, Oasis on the beach). Complex is right on the beach so great for walks on the beach north or south. Lots of security around the complecx, and other complexes. Police officer usually stationed at the intersection outside the Venetian, operating the traffic lights. Like anywhere in Mexico, always be alert crossing intersections. Traffic turns from OUTSIDE lanes, there aren't many Stop/Go Red/Green pedestrian lights. Cross in a group or with locals. Don't lollygag !! No warning when the red light turns to green and cars accelerate. Motorcyles also zip up to the front between cars. Keep your head on a swivel when crossing. Several grocery stores nearby : Chedraui (towards the airport - about a 20 minute walk) and Soriana (15 minutes south towards the downtown). Also a Walmart past the Chedraui towards the airport (30 minute walk), but it isn't worth it. Less food, more clothing etc. Also a different Soriana and Walmart at the end of a nice 30 minute walk up the river. Always felt safe on the walking trail but daytime only. Lots of locals also use the trail for walking to work at the hotels (?).

Wonderful stay with awesome sunsets.

Wonderful 2 week stay in this one bedroom unit on the 9th floor. Located on the hotel zone 15 minutes from the airport. Near groceries, bus and food court located just across the street. Our day was spent playing tennis on the courts here, palapa on the beach or poolside. Watching the sunset and ocean while on the private jacuzzi.

Not what we expected

It’s touted as a gorgeous NEW 1 bedroom. It may have been new about 10 years ago, so I believe the title line should be changed. The table and chairs are the only new thing in here. The bed in the ad states queen size, and it’s barely a double. Guessing the toilet seat had been replaced, and it doesn’t fit. The leather or pleather on couch etc is peeling... And the ridiculous tubs on front deck take up all kinds of space and barely get 2 chairs on it.. I meant to suggest updated appliances. Especially the gas oven ( not stovetop) as the lowest temperature inside the oven still burned things. Actually the oven is ridiculous, and only 1 dish to cook inside oven.. I normally don’t complain so much, but we paid a lot for 6 weeks(more than many,many others) and then have these issues. Probably fine for a very short rental where you aren’t going to cook, or be around much. That said it certainly does have a potential, if it had an owner that cared, and did an overhaul.. Overall it’s well situated to all needed amenities and the grounds and the pools and the views are gorgeous

Thank you for staying with us and the review. Tower three is the newest tower in the complex and the apartment is as well. The bed was purchased at local Costco advertised as queen and has queen mattress. And sheets used are also Queen Not sure why you thing differently. Appliances and tub are standard and original as well and in property pics reviewed by prospects like you before renting. You did want to have parties over against the agreed two people stay and are making things up to vent out. I am sorry but was clear before you booked and during your stay with complains to my property manager as well. Once again, thank you for booking with us.

Great views

Interesting place. On a river and great ocean views. Excellent birding spot. Good kitchen and TV, and couch. Bath tub on deck takes up too much outdoor space, there is barely room for two chairs. Overall we had an excellent vacation.

Great long term stay !

My husband & I were looking for a property to spend almost a month, and I had a large list of needs, this property checked the boxes. A condo with full kitchen, washer/dryer & room for an office space. The property had a gym, on site massage, several pools, a restaurant & beach access. The location was walking distance to grocery, restaurants & night life. Did I mention the patio hot tub which was the perfect place for sunset cocktails. Oh there's even turtle releases on the beach weekly certain times a year. The security at the gate can take their jobs too serious but it does keep the property clean & safe. Not the location if you want to have other guests over otherwise I would highly recommend.

Great ocean view & enjoyed my own hot tub in the evening. Rear balcony offered over view of city at night. Property entrance far enough to eliminate highway traffic noise. Security was tight , you have to wear your id bracelet at all times. Several pools & hot tubs with easy access to beach & ocean. Bring foot wear for beach water front , stony bottom & watch waves on heavy surf. Heavy undertow ! Be careful of area where river enters ocean , soft bottom crossing. There is an public access road & parking lot on right side of property. This area leads to bar which closes around Ten pm, be prepared for some music from this area. However, this zone is open to public & offers all night gatherings which may require you to close your balcony doors. Experienced fire on 18th floor & this building has " No Fire Alarm System "! Bring your own home alarms so you are aware of any problems. Fire hose located on left side of stair well by elevators if need arises. Overall Great Stay, returning for month in March 2019. Last thought, be cautious of oven, outside surface becomes very "Hot " when in use , towel required to protect hands when opening door.

Beautiful!

We loved the view, the place is a great quality place and it was so much fun. We loved the tub outside and honestly it has everything you need. We stayed here for 10 days and it became our little home and we will miss this place. I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else. Also, the staff here is fantastic!

Nice stay at the Grand Venetian

Very nice, very clean, like new condo. Easy check in and check out. Everything works, no tv only netflix or other internet based tv. Beautiful view, unfortunately the tub on the patio takes up so much room its difficult to sit on the patio and enjoy it but it you want to sit in a Jacuzzi and enjoy the view it would be perfect.

Nice place. Good location

Overall a nice property. The unit had everything you need for a nice vacation. Centrally located between the malecon and the marina area. The property has great pool areas and attendants to assist you with your needs. The cafe was closed for construction. When construction is completed this will be a very nice place. Very secure and very well maintained. Would definitely stay again

This is a great property! The view was spectacular, the condo was clean. The bed was really comfortable! Still construction going on but it didn't bother us to much. We had a great time!!
