The Iron Willow is a cozy private home centrally located in Crosby; just blocks from the Cuyuna Lakes State Trail, Crosby Memorial Park, a variety of local restaurants, skate park, children's park, hospital, 24-hour Holiday gas station, ACE hardware, Family Dollar/Dollar General and more. Serpent Lake is only blocks away, and mini-golf and a gorgeous golf course are just 5 miles away. Huge Super One grocery store just 1.2 miles away and it is 16 miles to downtown Brainerd, 25 miles to Safari North (zoo) or Brainerd International Raceway.

The Iron Willow was originally a lake cabin! It was moved to it's current location about 25 years ago (sorry, no lake!). The fully stocked kitchen includes a full-size refrigerator with water dispenser and ice, electric stove, microwave, keurig coffee maker and more. The main level has a vaulted ceiling, open floor plan, kitchen island with seating and window air-conditioning units. The master bedroom with TV, a bunk-bed room and a full bath are also on the main level. There is an Echo Dot with Amazon Alexa in the living room. Ask Alexa (via Echo Dot) to turn on the TV, play some music, turn off the lights, lock the doors and more!

The finished basement includes living space with sectional and TV, 1 bedroom with TV, 1 extra room with a bed, (has a closet, lockable door and TV but is not considered a bedroom because it does not have an egress window), a bathroom with shower, a computer, a desk and a second Echo Dot.

We have WiFi, a blu-ray dvd player, a gas grill on the deck, a picnic table, a fire pit and off-street parking for 3-4 cars (or a boat trailer!). We also have a small lockable storage shed available for use.

Smoking outdoors only. Check-in and check-out times are usually flexible.

Second time staying here and the owner continues to do an excellent job of maintaining the property and with communication. It is the 'go to' play to stay in the area with excellent amenities and local to all downtown Crosby has to offer in terms of shops and excellent restaurants.

Fabulous host with thoughtful extras!

Spent a few days visiting family near Crosby, MN, and this was a great place for my family to rest and recharge each evening. The host, Michelle was incredibly easy to communicate with (proactive even), and left some really thoughtful surprises for my kids to enjoy while staying. Really close to downtown Crosby and Serpent Lake - would stay again!

Iron Willow House

We had a wonderful stay at the Iron Willow in Crosby, MN. the house was clean and well equipped. We used this as our base for day trips, golfing, boating, fishing, and the NHRA races in Brainerd. We were able to use the firepit one night during our stay. This is a quiet town with some great restaurants. Trailside Bar and Grill, Rafferty's pizza to name a couple.

The unit is clean and well equipped. Mgmt was prompt and clear in instructions and not overbearing. Six occupants were comfortable and two more could easily be added. Ten occupants might be stretch for the two bathrooms. Highly recommended. Thanks!!!

Great cabin for a weekend getaway with the family!

This was my third stay at Michelle’s cabin and, as before, it was perfect. Michelle has the place perfectly appointed and there was plenty of space for our family of four. The cabin is conveniently located in town near shops and restaurants. Looking forward to my next stay here!

The Iron Willow is comfortable and laid-back home that feels more like a cabin; with it's own special charm and character. Our number one priority is cleanliness and our main focus is providing amenities that make guests feel comfortable and at home. The home is in a safe neighborhood conveniently located just blocks from the bike trails and "downtown" Crosby.

What makes this property unique

We love the iron range area and the old willow tree in the front yard, thus the name, "Iron Willow". We sanded, stained and installed every tongue and groove board ourselves. We've added some smart home features that we think make the Iron Willow a unique destination; especially if you haven't experienced them yet! We've included keyless entry locks, smart switches, a smart thermostat and even smart TVs.
