Everything was great.
Toni was an amazing host and the house was perfect.
Beautiful villa very well appointed only lacking air conditioning.
A lovely villa set in a large plot a little drive from the nearest amenities... a car is essential. Easy drive from the airport. We used the pool and tennis court endlessly but almost never used the lounge or the dining room.. preferring to sit and eat outside ... just as it should be. Nights without air con were difficult and despite the “rural “ location were a little noisy ...cockerels, dogs a pea hen and a donkey all on other plots. Our hosts TONY and Sophia were most accommodating and very nice people. Thoroughly recommend this villa.
thank you very much for your comments. we are very happy that you enjoyed your holidays
as the house is located in a rural area it is normal to hear the animals.... a couple of extra days in the house and you would not hear the animals anymore...
we recommend you as a guest also!!!
hope to have you as guest in the future
we had a marvelous time. The house was fantastic and we look forward to staying there again.
Wonderful villa, friendly owner, clean and tidy lovely idellic location.
Beautiful house, great facilities, very friendly and helpful owners.
Wonderful house in a great location. Had all the amenities necessary and more. The house was absolutely amazing with great tennis court, fantastic swimming pool and a small gym with table tennis in the basement - kids loved it as much as we did. There is satellite TB and wifi at the house which was great. They even have a couple of chickens so had fresh eggs every morning for breakfast. The house inside was clean and very modern. Great BBQ area and pizza oven and ate outside every night which was lovely. Have never been to Majorca before so was blown away by how beautiful the island is. You do need a car but everything is between 10 to 40 mins drive. We would not hesitate in recommending this house as it was in a quiet area but still had loads to do within a short distance. Felt very safe and had a truly relaxing time - will definitely be returning next year.
Bunyola is a small Majorcan town located 21km north of the capital Palma. Nestled in the spurs of the Serra de Tramuntana mountain rage, Bunyola is one of the few Majorcan settlements that has remained largely untouched by tourism. The holiday rental accommodation in Bunyola is sophisticated, upmarket and will provide visitors with a traditional Spanish base from which to explore this magnificent island.
Things to do in Bunyola, Spain
Bunyola is essentially a small, traditional inland town that does not see as much in the way of tourism as a lot of the coastal resorts do, and will not be found in a great number of tour brochures. It does, however, offer visitors the opportunity to sample a different side of Majorca – one of local customs, Spanish dialects (rather than those of holidaymaking Brit’s) and traditional cuisine. Around town you will find a small number of bakeries, bars, small shops and other traditional businesses, rather than the pubs, nightclubs and supermarkets found elsewhere on the island.
Bunyola has retained its traditional Spanish weekly market, and the town square is the place to head on a Saturday morning to pick up your fresh fruit and vegetables. The market trails off in the early afternoon, and if you don’t fancy a siesta you can head for a hike in the foothills of the Tramuntana Mountains or jump in the hire car for a day of exploring. The use of a hire car is a near necessity here, as public transport is somewhat limited and the town is slightly removed from major tourist attractions of the island.

Also within the municipality of Bunyola is Orient, a small village with a couple of decent restaurants. Further afield, Soller (10km) is home to some fine examples of 13th Century architecture and a small but perfectly formed beach, whilst no trip to Majorca is complete without a visit to the capital Palma (21km), where you can enjoy all of the hedonistic pleasures that are not found in Bunyola.
