Lovely home, Carol was kind enough to let us check in early as we were traveling during the snow storm. Cabin had all the amenities needed. Perfect home for large groups. The master is on the main floor including the kitchen and the living area. The other rooms are all on the bottom floor. Favorite part of the home was the kitchen. Open and lots of room to move around. Overall we enjoyed our stayed.

Perfect stay at Northstar

We loved our stay at the cabin. It was perfect for our group - the kids stayed downstairs and the adults upstairs. We loved the board games and fireplace, and the kitchen was very well appointed. Shuttle takes you right to the village. Hope to come again soon!

Wonderful stay!

This was a great home base for our two families with small children. The carpeted sunken living room was perfect for young children to play in and the bedrooms were spacious. The backyard was great for playing in the snow and sledding. On top of it all, the convenience of having access to the Northstar shuttle was priceless! We definitely hope to be back!

The house checked all of our boxes. It was very spacious, clean and in the perfect location. We really appreciated the shuttle to Northstar Village that literally picked up and dropped off right outside the house. We highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again.

This well maintained property was more than adequate for our family group of 11 people. The kitchen was stocked with all the basics. The living and dining room areas were spacious. Instructions for the low flow toilets, heater and keys were easy to follow. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would heartily recommend it for large gatherings.

This house was very nice and well tended to. The owner has covered everything from plowing, to garbage, to easy access., and good communication. Overall this house worked out very well for our needs. Great Location, very good owner and house

Proximity to North Star is great. Bedrooms spacious and clean. Kitchen is wonderful with large windows to look out. Owner is superb and even allowed early/late checkout. The only issue with the property was that I wish to the TV had a casting ability- and that’s not even a big deal. Thank you!

Great Property with plenty of room for all of us.

Property was clean and well maintained. Lots of room for all of us to sit at the table to play games, puzzles and eat. Open kitchen with everything I needed to cook for 8 of us. There was an amazing bonus view to enjoy during all my time preparing meals. The shuttle was a great bonus to take us to and from the village/lifts. Unfortunately there wasn't enough snow to enjoy the slopes, so we only spent 1 day on the mountain.

love the mid century vibe

What an amazing weekend we had! Love the mid century vibe. It was classy , not dingy at all. Home owner really took care of the property, and the cleaning crew did a very good job. Someone built a really cool sled ride next to the cabin, it was the best thing for the kids. Even the neighbors kids across the street came play. The amazing view outside the kitchen made cooking super enjoyable. It over looks an opened field with some trails covered in snow. We heard coyote hunting one night and the next morning the kids spotted a couple of coyotes outside in the field. They were pretty far away, but it was a very cool sighting for the city kids. 10 am check out time was a little too early for us, 3 families with 6 kids 3-10 yo, and the cleaning team came super right at 10am if not earlier. We were still loading up as the crew arrive. Didn’t have much time to tidy up the kitchen for the cleaning people. Also, no hair dryer, but it’s okay, we just air dry our hair.

This home is situated on the peaceful end of Basque Drive, offering privacy with minimal through traffic. Enjoy stunning views of Martis Valley from the back of the property, along with quick and convenient access to the extensive hiking trails throughout Northstar.

The flat driveway provides easy entry into the home, and the surrounding area offers plenty of great spots for sledding fun.
