Thanks for your kind words and rating, Marsha. And thanks as well for noting the challenges your adult kids faced with the stairs. For the benefit of others, there’s a gap one needs to pass through between the stairs and the wall before the stairs can be accessed; it’s generally visible in the pictures, although the precise geometry might not be apparent. One of us is a fairly a large person - about 6’3” and 270 lbs (not much if that muscle, regrettably :-)) - and passing through the gap has never been an issue for us. So this isn’t something that had previously been on our radar. Given this feedback, however, we’ve added a brief note to our property description. Again thanks, Marsha - you were a pleasure to host, and we’d have been happy to have you back anytime but for this issue.
