My family and I had an amazing time staying at the house! The responses to my messages and communication from the owners was so helpful; and the home itself warm and welcoming. It was well stocked, easy to use, and a delight to be in.
Everything about this property and location was fantastic! Little Sebago was an inviting lake with great fishing, kayaking, canoeing and swimming. After a day on the water, the house was welcoming and well equipped to handle our large family.
We had a fantastic time at this little Sebago lake house for our family vacation. My wife, 14-year-old twin girls and 11-year-old son along with my brother-in-law and in-laws had a great time by the lake, kayaking, swimming, and lots of time just relaxing on the porch, looking out at the beautiful view of the lake. Thanks so much for keeping the property so clean and maintained, looking forward to hopefully enjoying another family Lakehouse trip again next year here.
11 out of 10! The location is awesome, right on the lake with a dock and a floating dock to swim out too with kayaks and a canoe to use. Very close to Portland, MI, (the East Coast) places to eat and the grocery store. House is fully stocked with towels and linens. Once you stay, you’re not going to want to leave!
Property situated on lake with kayaks, canoe and water flotation devices. Kitchen had everything we needed to fix our meals. Comfortable beds. We didn't want to leave.
This was an excellent home for our multi generational vacation. It had something for everyone. Really enjoyed swimming, kayaking, fishing, board games and the sunsets. The place was clean and clearly well cared for. Close to grocery stores, restaurants and area attractions. Thanks for a great stay!
This home and location is gorgeous. The house is clean, the kitchen and waterfront equipped. We were six adults and one 8 year old who wanted perpetual entertainment, of course. There was so much to entertain him, and all of us. Fishing, swimming, canoe and kayaking and water-inflatables, games. He is an early riser but was quiet with TV in the lower level while the rest of us slept in without waking to any noise (except poor mom, naturally!) There is much to do locally and in Portland with boat tours of Casco Bay, shopping, eating. We only had a couple requests/ comments to the host Eva who responded right away. It felt like we were on our own, in our own home. We had visits from several other friends and family and a couple (mostly) well-behaved dogs! The best part of this location and home is the view and waterfront. Little Sebago is a peaceful, clean, smaller lake and perfect for those, like us, with less experience kayaking and canoeing. There are four kayaks, a canoe, and a paddleboard and we used everything. Easy to pull into and out of the water with two people, plenty of life jackets of different sizes. The near 180-degree view of the lake faces west so the sunsets were spectacular. The fire pit and smores at night were a perfect end to lovely days.
Kids had blast on the lake, jumping off the dock and tubing. House had plenty of room for all 8 adults and 8 kids. House was clean and had everything you would need. Our family had a great time! Host was very attentive and quick to respond.
This house is in an awesome location and was the perfect size for an extended family stay. Eva and Keith couldn’t have been more accommodating. Little sebago is also a really cool lake with plenty to do. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay.
Wonderful relaxing family getaway on beautiful Little Sebago Lake. Eva’s home was wonderful and well appointed. Eva was very responsive. Will definitely be back!!
The house was beautiful! Lake was great! Close to Portland and all that has to offer. All the kids loved it…especially all the toys and books in the kids bunk room. Wonderful experience all around!
This was an amazing place for our family to stay. We had 4 families with a total if 11 people. There was plenty of space for everyone. While the property offered plenty of activities the home was also central to us visiting Portland and Freeport for a couple of day trips. We would definitely rent this property again!
This delightful lake view home was just as pictured and imagined. Our family of 15 ages 7 months to 72 years had the best time making memories on Little Lake Sebago. Cooking and eating together, sitting on the dock, paddling around with the kayaks, canoe and paddle board AND several evenings around the firepit or living room stove were highlights. A few excursions to Portland and drives around the lake rounded out our 8 day adventure in Maine.
Inside set up for privacy for entire family of 12. Great open area for family meals & fully equipped kitchen. Outside views beautiful with water toys for all.
Host were available for questions & gave us great ideas for outings.
Fire pit was a hit. A great memory for all.
A beautiful house on the lake. Rooms are spacious. There was plenty of room for our group of 9 adults. Views from almost every room. Location is fantastic. The town of North Windham has anything you’d want for your stay. Portland Jetport is 30 minutes away. The owner was very responsive to any inquiries. Highly recommend this property!
My family and I have been traveling up to the Maine and New Hampshire lake regions for 13 years, and this wonderful lake home on Little Sebago Lake was voted by my kids and grandkids (and my husband and me) as the "Best Vacation House Ever"! It was spotlessly clean and very well appointed with everything from kitchen supplies to linens and towels to kayaks, everything you would need for a very stress-free vacation on the lake. Eva, our host, was so helpful and welcoming and she responded very quickly whenever I had a question. The house had plenty of space for a big family and the dock area and diving platform were great for swimming, fishing, and just relaxing and enjoying the view. A fantastic week in a beautiful home!
What was a generally rainy weekend let up enough for us to get out on the lake, enjoy the outdoor fire pit and to take a hike. Otherwise we enjoying indoor puzzling, ping pong and air hockey. A great time was had by all!!
