Beautiful view, sounds, and smell of the ocean. Schools of dolphins and a herd of turtles regularly entertained.Definitely would stay again here.

Steve had very clear instructions in multiple formats (paper/digital) that I appreciated. Very warm and kind in his communications. Made himself available for smooth communications. Provided an activities guide. Top notch host!The unit was great, not a bug in sight for our visit though there was a heads up that some bugs are a given for the islands. The condo felt like a hotel, with beautiful styling and lighting- the owner clearly has a good eye for what makes a space beautiful and cozy. Included little toiletries and other thoughtful additions. Beautiful views from the balcony!Would stay again!

This place was incredible! We didn't want to leave! The view, the breeze, the balcony, quick walk to the beach and shopping areas... everything was perfect! Not to mention, Steve was far and away the best host I have ever had across any vacation rental platform. You can tell he loves this place so much and that he enjoys sharing it! He has everything considered to make sure you understand how to check in and out and how to make the most of your trip on the island! We were in Maui during a hurricane, which locked the island down for a couple of days. The condo felt safe and comfy during our down time, and Steve checked in regularly to make sure we were ok! He even graciously extended our check out time due to the inconvenience caused by the storm! We can't wait to come back!

Really enjoyed this property. Loved the view and falling to sleep to crash of waves. Owner supplied binoculars and were able to spot whales and turtles from balcony After problem with key was sorted everything was fine.Would love to stay here again.

My stay at Steve's condo was awesome, the ocean view was just gorgeous. The overall booking process with Steve was very responsive and detailed which I appreciated. The condo was super clean, the bed was comfortable and I slept well, which I sometimes don't do away from home. I never cooked, but the kitchen was very well stocked if you want to cook on vacation. The grounds surrounding the condo are nice and I used the pool everyday, most times the only one there. Sitting on the balcony and watching the waves and listening to the crashing ocean was very relaxing and peaceful. I enjoyed my stay and plan to return soon.

Hearing the waves day and night is indeed relaxing and is one of the main reasons I love the condo. I'm biased but I think my full ocean view is the best of all the 1 bedrooms in the complex. I do my best to have my cleaning crew have the unit in its best condition for my guests. As it’s my home away from home, I try to make it as comfortable as possible for everyone. Yes, the pool, garden, sun deck, and gazebos are lovely and well maintained by the condo association. That’s great that you plan to return! You were an amazing guest! Keep my information. We traveled to Maui as part of our 40th anniversary celebration. The condo is located in a great location in West Maui and everything is as it’s described in the listing. When we arrived, the condo was very neat and clean. Communications with Steve, our host, was very easy and efficient. You will enjoy an amazing view from the lanai and the trade winds will keep you cool and comfortable. From the lanai, you can watch the green sea turtles frolicking on the small reef in front of the complex. There’s plenty of food choices available in the area. If you want a place away from the crowds of the resorts, this is the place for you. My husband and I would happily stay here again. Mahalo Steve!

Awesome property and location

The unit in Hale Ono Loa was comfortable, has a wonderful view and everything you would need for your stay on Maui. The location is perfect.

Aloha! Mahalos soo much for your 10 out of 10 review! I'm so happy you found the condo and the location to be awesome. I'm biased but I think the views from this top floor unit (and third from the water) are the best of all the one bedrooms in the complex. I really like the location too. It's near all the major attractions, beaches, shops of West Maui but is away from the 'mega' resorts and crowds. And the unit is far from the road so all you hear is ocean and not cars. This being a 2nd home, I try to make it as comfortable for my guests as possible. You were such amazing guests. You are welcome back anytime! Mahalos again for everything! 🌴🌺🐋

The place had dream views and in such a great area! Steve was very responsive and we had zero issues. The amenities and space were perfect for what we needed. If you long to sleep hearing the energy of the ocean this is your spot! Mahalo - we plan to come back!

We thoroughly enjoyed celebrating our 25 year anniversary at this location! Communication with Steve was great. The picturesque view cannot adequately be captured in a photo.

Wonderful stay! The views were incredible—we could even see the ocean from our bed thanks to the strategically placed lanai mirror. The condo was well equipped with everything we needed, including beach chairs, coolers, and convenient laundry just one floor down. The ocean breeze kept the space perfectly comfortable. The pool and grounds were lovely, and Steve was kind and thoughtful. We would absolutely stay here again!

Since the photos were taken, I've repainted all the walls (light grey) and replaced the lighting, end tables, beside lamps, coffee table, the rug and some of the art. I also replaced the patio table and added two Adirondack style chairs to the lanai. I'm working on getting photos redone to show the updates. Beautiful view

This property had a beautiful view of the ocean, the property grounds and pool. Relaxing atmosphere and very comfortable bed. Overall, if you are looking for a relaxing stay, this is a great choice!!

I'm biased but the view from 407 is the best among all the 1 bedroom units in the complex because you see South all the way down the coast. The California king sized bed is great. This smaller boutique style/size complex is extremely well managed and the grounds crew comes twice weekly. You were terrific guests. You are no doubt welcome back any time you return to Maui. The condo was amazing!! The view was outstanding. Perfect for watching the sunset. There is a bakery and coffee shop within walking distance that we frequently went to. It is also very close to a variety of dining options. I would highly recommend this condo.

I'm biased but yes, being on the top floor and 3rd from the water offers what I think to be the best views of all the one bedrooms in this complex. It's indeed a great spot to watch the sunset. I love the location too! The two bakeries, the food truck park and so many other restaurants, shops, beaches and grocery I think make this location 2nd to very few. You were such great guests. Awesome Location

Absolutely loved the location for this stay. Great starting point for the west side of Maui! Steve was also INCREDIBLY responsive and made sure that everything was perfect!

Beautiful honeymoon location

Steve’s place was great. It was clean, romantic, and the perfect size for the two of us. Can’t beat the ocean front views either.
