Oaks Mökki sijaitsee Pohjois-Cameronin seurakunnassa ja sitä ympäröivät kauniit "elävät tammipuut". Kiinteistö on täysin kalustettu 2 makuuhuoneen / 1 kylpyhuoneen mökki vain muutaman minuutin päässä kuuluisasta Big Lakesta. Vuodepaikkoja 4 henkilöä, asuu 1 350 neliömetriä. Kaikki liinavaatteet ja ruokailuvälineet. Pesukone / kuivausrumpu, keskuslämmitys ja lämpö, WiFi ja kaapeli-TV, jossa jokaisessa huoneessa on TV. Suuri katettu etukuistilla BBQ-kuoppa ja palo-kuoppa. Kiinteistössäsi on paljon tilaa veneiden pysäköintiin (kalastajat tervetulleita). Vain 10 minuutin päässä Herbert Camp -laivauksesta. Lintuharrastajat ovat tervetulleita nauttimaan paratiisistamme Kreolin luontopolkua pitkin Cameron La -kadulle, 50 minuutin ajomatka. Olet 15 minuutin päässä Prime-ravintolasta ja Bodega-viinibaarista ja 20 minuutin päässä kasinoista ja hyväpalkkaisista ravintoloista.

Great times

The property was very beautiful. There was plenty of room to park the boat when we were not fishing. There are nice restaurants close by. An overall great experience that we will be looking to do again soon

Beautiful Cottage

The property with the Live Oak Trees is Beautiful, and the home is perfectly cozy. I love the décor of the home and the bed was very comfortable. It has all the accommodations of home, just bring your food. Our host were awesome, very friendly and tentative to answer questions. Would highly recommend staying at this property.

Perfect weekend getaway

Me and my husband rented this property for a weekend getaway. It was perfect! Beautiful property, very peaceful and relaxing. The house was so cozy. We loved it! We would definitely rent this place again and will plan on bringing our kids next time to fish!

Excellent Space!

We rented this property for a weekend film shoot, and every step of sorting out and utilising the space was impeccable. Angela and Jeffrey were very accommodating and communicative, and the space itself was exactly the lovely look and feel we were searching for. Highly recommend this listing if you’re looking for a weekend trip!

Beautiful piece of Louisiana

Such a beautiful serene spot! Well appointed house with updated decor and thoughtful touches. Porches and patios were well equipped to help us enjoy the gorgeous Louisiana landscape on it’s large lot. Host was more than helpful and quick to respond. Would definitely recommend!!

Needs a Real Deep Clean

Could be a great place. Booked 5 nights.Everything tidy and in order, but NOT clean. Arrived late at night due to flight delay, so stayed first night. Floors not vacuumed/mopped, cobwebs everywhere, thick dust on ceiling fans above beds, bedside tables had hairs/dust, lamps/ lampshades covered in thick dust, bathroom sink covered in toothpaste spit, toilet had urine stains on it, bathmat really dirty, and dirty linens left on the floor in master closet. Asked owner to do a deep clean, and stayed elsewhere on second night. Asked if we could show them in person our concerns, but was unable to, due to their schedule. They were very pleasant via phone/text, and we thought would address our issues. Arrived back on 3rd day, stayed that night due to family wedding reception down the street. Bathroom sink was cleaned, but toilet still dirty, floors not mopped, no dusting/ deep cleaning done. Only stayed on night three due to not wanting to drive after celebration. Got another place for nights 4 & 5. Asked for a partial refund. Got no response, which was disappointing. The property needs a professional cleaning crew. Owners had personal issues to deal with, for which we really hope everything turned out for the best.

A place to get away from the noises of city life.

Fishing trip

Came down for our annual friends fishing trip, using cat 5 charters and the guide launches at Calcasieu point this location was perfect. Spacious, clean, and peaceful. The house was to date the best air bnb i had stayed in, beds, couches was like sleeping on a cloud. Whole house had everything you could ask for. Highly recommended Only thing is there is a curve at where the drive way meets the road that can be pretty dangerous so be careful otherwise perfect.

Quiet getaway

We enjoyed the quiet, calm surroundings of the area and beautiful interior of the home which was tastefully decorated with comfortable furniture. Everything we needed was provided and we shopped the local, recommended grocery which was well stocked and staff was friendly. Fired up the grill while there and enjoyed coffee on the front porch in the mornings. Had a visit from two armadillos one early evening which provided lots of laughs! Far enough out to enjoy the country, but close enough to casinos, restaurants, or other town fun.

Honeymooners were thrilled!

Our honeymooners (my daughter and new son in law) were beyond excited about relaxing here for a short getaway until they can go on an extended honeymoon. We’re from this area and know the difficulties of putting our small towns back together and our community never leaves one another behind. It was definitely proven during this process of booking with these amazing owners who went above and beyond for us. They even left a bottle of champagne and glasses out with a sweet note to the newlyweds. We will forever be grateful to them for giving our kids a piece of normalcy. Even for just a couple of nights. Thanks so much y’all for everything! We will highly recommend you to everyone we know. ☺️

Absolutely Perfect

Incredible cottage. So comfortable, clean and immaculate property. It is a great set up. Plenty of supplies from coffee, blankets, pillows and toiletries. A/C and all appliances work great! There is even a full size washer and dryer. Fully loaded kitchen. The beds are very comfortable. We slept so good! Our teenage kids loved the stay too. Big Lake has a ton of things to explore and a nice Cajun restaurant 5 minutes away called T Boy’s. There is a Public Pier walking distance or if you prefer to drive there is plenty of parking. It really seems like a semi private pier as it is tucked away. We all enjoyed catching speckled trout, reds, black drums and crabs. We were visiting family and anytime we go back we will be sure to stay at Oak Cottage again.

We had a great time I would STRONGLEY recommend this property. Owners are very friendly and helpful for those of us who are not familiar with the area. They made us feel like family.

Fantastic Getaway

I chosed this location because of the location. Rural area, very peaceful and close to the water. I also chosed this cottage because if the really great reviews. The reviews were spot on. This was a fantastic getaway. The host were nearby and very hospitable. The amenities were more than enough, the activities in the area kept us exploring, we didn't finish with getting to know the area, so, we have to come back. We really enjoyed this vacation.
