Traiga a la familia para disfrutar de una gran pesca y hermosas puestas de sol en este dormitorio de dos, 1. 5 cabaña de baño en Big Lake. Este campamento tiene uno de los mejores muelles de Big Lake, con un fregadero para limpiar su pescado, la capacidad de atar su barco, dos luces de pesca de alto voltaje y una increíble cubierta superior donde se puede disfrutar de hermosas vistas. "Cissie by the Sea" duerme hasta ocho personas y ofrece un gran espacio para el entretenimiento. La pantalla en el porche ofrece asientos adicionales y mesa de comedor. Awesome house just as advertized!!! The pier was awesome we caught sting rays,drums,gaftop,croakers,alligator gar.Someone had a fish on almost the whole day. We used shrimp and shad we caught with a cast net. Great trip hope we can go back one day.

Visor By The Sea

Everything was very neat and clean, as usual (we’ve stayed several times before). Newly remodeled kitchen very nice and convenient with everything you need if you want to cook. Large island (in kitchen) and filled with cooking implements of every kind. Large frig and convenient stove and sink with many windows to see outside and over the lake. New window coverings for more privacy are nice. Large dining area and comfortable seating in living area. Huge screened in porch with lots of light and fans for circulation. Plenty seating with tables and nets and a kayak. Beautiful view of the lake and very peaceful sunsets. Having a boat would be great. Nice neighborhood if you like to walk or ride a bike. We could not get the TV to work for regular programming. There was a remote that came with the TV, and we tried to work it to get the news, but maybe you need a universal remote for that and regular programming. Thank you for having us. This is a very relaxing setting.

The perfect Staycation

We are from Lake Charles and chose to do a staycation this year with a new baby! This camp was the perfect place for our little family. We enjoyed hanging out and cooking in the yard near the water while the kids played, night fishing off the dock, fishing in Big Lake, and cooling off inside while still having the perfect view of the lake! We hope to make our staycation a tradition!

Great location

My son and I had a great stay at this property. It is very clean and well equipped. The lighted pier is very well constructed, convenient and a perfect fishing platform. Unfortunately, when we were there the fish were not biting, but we had fun regardless.

Memorial Day Weekend

We celebrated my husband's birthday with fishing and a seafood boil. Fishing was not good, but we had a relaxing weekend.

Stay Cissie by the Sea

We enjoyed our stay at the Cissie by the sea this past weekend 5/16-5/18. Everything stated in the listing is correct. the property was perfect for what we needed and wanted. Our only downfall was, there was no bait shop close by (Not Sara's fault). Make sure you get your live shrimp prior to arriving. The fishing was on fire even with Frozen shrimp and artificial. We will be back for future stays.

Weekend Stay

The house and property are well kept and clean. It has a nice pier that extends out into Calcasieu Lake. The pier has electricity, running water, and lights that can be turned on to fish at night. Both the kids and adults enjoyed a relaxing weekend on Calcasieu Lake and near by areas.

One of my favorite places to stay on Big Lake!

Love staying here! Host is great and very responsive! Sunsets are beautiful! The fishing is great off the private pier! The home is always very clean! Would definitely recommend it to family and friends!

Wonderful Spring Break

Thank you so much for sharing your fishing cabin with our family. It was so nostalgic like being back on the bayou of our childhood. We really enjoyed fishing and crabbing off the awesome pier. Unfortunately, the weather was uncooperative for boating, but we didn't mind. My favorite time was prepping dinner while watching perfect sunsets on the back porch. We will definitely be booking again soon for summer!

Great cozy place set up for fishing!

This was my second stay here with friends and family. I hope for many more in the future! The house is cozy and modern. Easy 10 minute drive to a little local grocery store. The dock is set up nicely for fishing. Boat launch is about 100 yards down the road. It's really a lovely little house and the hosts were extremely accommodating.

Big Lake stay at Cissie

Nice camp right on the water. Beautiful dock and sun/sunset deck, screened porch, well-equipped kitchen and living area. Booked a fishing trip out of Heberts Landing, a short walk away, so convenient.

Our family has been in Lake Charles for five generations. Big Lake is our favorite place in the world! Our camp was hit by hurrianes Laura and Delta in 2020 and our mom, Cissie, passed away two months later. It's taken us 2.5 years to complete the remodel, but it was well worth the wait! Our new house is just amazing. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do. The property is owned by three sisters and our families.

This is one of the only camps for rent that is newly remodeled. It has a huge kitchen with granite counter tops, 180 degree views of Big Lake, and one of the largest fishing docks down there.
