Eagles Nest is a fan favorite with its beach front location, an upstairs private master bedroom, a spacious two-level deck, and unobstructed water views. Enjoy morning coffee from the front decks while watching the sunrise, pelicans flying overhead, and ships entering the port of Freeport.

This family-owned home is located on Middle Beach in Surfside where it is generally a little quieter than other sections of the beach. A short walk through the dunes and you can play in the waves or enjoy a beach walk. There are plenty of toys available as well as a wagon to take your supplies to the beach for water fun, sandcastle building, kite flying, shell gathering, tossing a ball, fishing, or having drinks and a picnic. The house lot runs from the highway to the Gulf of Mexico so there are no houses in front or behind to obstruct your view. Out the back windows you will see tugboats pushing barges along the Intercoastal Canal.

Inside on the main level you will find the kitchen, dining and living room, 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, and laundry facilities. The large dining table that seats 8 is ground zero for card games, puzzles, and lively discussions. The ground level is all concrete which gives you the flexibility of using it as an additional outdoor living space, parking, a giant "chalk art" canvas, or a picnic area. You will also enjoy an outdoor shower, BBQ pit and a completely covered stairwell …great for getting into the house during rainy days. On the highest level, you will enjoy the master bedroom that features a private balcony and separation from the main level living area for naps, reading, TV watching, or working/playing on your computer at the desk by the window.

Pet-Friendly Vacation Home - Your Furry Friends Are Welcome! We know that pets are part of the family, and we are happy to welcome them at this home! Guests may bring up to two pets per property with a $100 non-refundable pet fee per pet. If you have more than two pets, please reach out to us - we may be able to make an exception. For small breed pets under 10 pounds, we will do our best to accommodate your request. We ask that all pet owners be mindful of the home and community, clean up after their pets, and follow any local pet guidelines. There is high speed internet through Xfinity (Comcast) providing live TV channels or streaming options including Netflix and Prime. The upstairs TV has a Roku receiver. If you want to bring your pets along, this house is pet friendly. Please inquire about the pet fee when booking. Pets are welcome at this home. 2 pets max. w/ a non-refundable pet fee. (ask if additional pets are allowed).

There are several wonderful restaurants on the island, or you can take a short drive to Galveston or Lake Jackson to enjoy some exploring, sightseeing, or shopping along the way.
