Welcome to an incredible new cabin located just blocks from Terry Peak. Blackstone Canyon is an amazing 3 level cabin that's been accented with burnt wood in a modern rustic setting among the trees on a hillside with a view. It's located in the middle of the northern Black Hills recreational corridor near skiiing and mountain biking at Terry Peak, ATV/snowmobile trails, and some great hiking locations! You're also only minutes from the Mickelson trail with miles of great trails, around 10 minutes to Spearfish Canyon with incredible fishing and waterfalls, and only 15 minutes to Deadwood (with taxi service) where you can gamble to your hearts desire or enjoy some local restaurants and festivities. With just an hour drive, you can also be enjoying the major attractions like Mount Rushmore, Sylvan Lake, Custer State Park, and Keystone! It really is a wonderful location! Whether you're in the Black Hills to enjoy some trail adventures, or just a weekend away to relax, Blackstone Canyon is a perfect place to enjoy your vacation.

Once you enjoyed the incredible Black Hills attractions, coming back to your very own cabin will surely be the best part of your vacation. The cabin's filled with large windows that fill it with natural light. The open kitchen leads right into the living area with a rock fireplace and TV making it perfect to cook and lounge with your guests. The living area also leads into the partially covered deck with panoramic views of the valley below. You'll love watching the local wildlife from there!! The lower level leads out onto the patio with an incredible view from the hot tub. Watching the starry skies from here will be forever engrained in your memory! You'll find a king bed in the master bedroom, another king in the 2nd bedroom, the 3rd bedroom has a queen bed while the 4th and 5th bedrooms both have a queen bed and a bunk bed with full size beds. There's also a sofa sleeper in the loft and lower level living room! We welcome you on your next Black Hills adventure. Your group is sure to love this wonderful property!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I absolutely loved the cabin and the beautiful views. We did not do a whole lot locally. We traveled to the area in three vehicles. One vehicle did a lot of sightseeing in western south dakota and into wyoming. One vehicle did most of their sightseeing in the rapid city area and very close to rapid city. I had a brother in the rie.Hospital in hot springs, so I did a lot of traveling back and forth. The cabin was located right in the middle of everything that we had set out to do. The amount of adults that went in on the cost made this super affordable.

Great for large group!

There was plenty of room for everyone. With three levels, we were able to give the kids the entire basement, also giving the adults a break. Beautiful scenery on our way also!

My fiancé, I, and our friends stayed 3 nights for our bachelor/bachelorette party. Property manager was great, gave us accurate directions to find the place and answered any questions we had. Only issue we had was running out of hot water when all 3 showers got used at once(not a huge problem). Otherwise, we’d stay there again!

Loved the place and location to Terry Peak!

Very Nice! Plenty of room for our party of 16! Only issues we had was, we did run a little short on blankets for the pullout beds! Also it would be a little nicer if it was furnished with a little more toilet paper, trash bags, and dishwashing detergent! When you have that many people it requires more. You pay more for more people so you should get more! But not going to complain. Just trying to help! All and All we all loved it and would comeback again in future! Thanks You

We didn't use the hottub, but if you are going to have a rental you can't put all of those stipulations on it. Beds are terrible and the pillows are worse.
