We LOVED the privacy and seclusion of this property!! The cows were very fun to watch and we saw a wild turkey! I would definitely stay here again even tho the beds were a little firmer than I prefer.

Very refreshing home in the country. Very secluded which we loved. The cows and chickens my kids loved. Overall a great stay we will definitely be back!!

The host, Beth, was very prompt with replies to our questions about our stay. It was the perfect property for our needs. There were 5 of us and we we're very comfortable. We especially enjoyed coffee in the morning on the screened in porch. What a beautiful view!

Brothers and sister visiting moms old home place.

A nice cottage secluded in the wood. Very private which is exactly what we wanted. We will be back.

Great home in a secluded location

Very nicely done renovation here. We enjoyed the stay while we were in the area working on our retirement home. Within a 15 minute drive of our property, and close to town for anything we needed. Will stay here again!

The place had not been cleaned for a while, the shower floor was dirty, had hair stuck on the wall, the toilet had dried cleaner fluid on the top of the rim. No mention of steps in the pictures . No phone number to talk to a person, only email, very frustrating. We were in contact with VRBO, sent pictures tried to get a full refund, they told us there was nothing they could do and ended communications with us. We did receive 150.00 from the host, but felt more should have been done. We only stayed one of the two nights booked because we couldn't find anywhere else. Our grandson is in a wheelchair and can't do steps, which limited him to the living room and one bedroom the whole time we were there. The next day we got up got our stuff and headed out to find us a hotel room.John Longbottom

Summer weekend getaway

2nd time staying here. Beautiful house and property with amazing scenery. You feel so secluded here. Short drive to Somerset and Lake Cumberland. Will definitely be back again.

Peaceful

This was our second time staying in this beautiful, peaceful and cozy home. It has all we need for a quiet weekend with family. We truely enjoy sitting in the screen in back porch in the moring watching the cows while drinking our coffee. All around a beautiful home that is out of the hustle and bustle of life.

Girls getaway

We enjoyed our restful stay! The property is exactly as described. The house is just a few minutes from Somerset but in a quiet, private setting. The host was prompt and lovely. I would stay here again.

Awesome little getaway

We arrived to a perfect little place off the beating path. Directions took us directly there with a little help from the owner. Would recommend this to anyone that likes peace and quiet but close to town. We willing be going back.

The creekside country house was perfect. Very welcoming upon arrival. Love the roominess and open concept. The 3 season porch was a great addition! The location was great, our daughter lives in Somerset so it was easy for her and our grandson to stop by frequently. Loved our stay and plan to stay in the future again!

Country Quietness

We love the location out in the country, but yet still close enough to the city only a few minutes. We were only 15 minutes from Leesport marina where our boat is at a slip. It is very relaxing home.

Beautiful secluded home

Loved the peacefulness, cleanliness, charm and all the cows. Minutes away from amenities but feels like you are hours away from all the hustle and bustles of life. Host was very quick at responding and accommodating. We plan to be back!
