The community does have established quiet-hour and noise policies that apply to all guests and residents, and unfortunately, complaints regarding excessive noise can occur outside of designated quiet hours as well when it impacts neighboring units. We also want to clarify that the listing accurately discloses both the stair access and that the condo does not have air conditioning. Fans are provided throughout the unit, but we completely understand that guests who consider A/C essential may be more comfortable selecting an air-conditioned property. We appreciate your stay and your feedback, and we agree that choosing a property whose amenities and community environment best match your family’s needs is important when planning a Hawai‘i vacation.

We do provide fans and encourage guests to open the windows and lanai doors to take advantage of the island breezes, though we understand comfort levels can vary greatly from person to person. The property is professionally treated for pests on a regular basis, and we have not found any evidence of fire ants in the home. As with any tropical destination, occasional insects can enter despite ongoing professional pest-control treatments. We also want to clarify that the property is clearly advertised and disclosed as **not having air conditioning**, so AC was not an amenity included with the reservation. We understand that some guests may find Hawaii’s tropical temperatures warmer than they prefer, particularly during certain times of the year. Regarding the noise notices, these are community rules intended to protect neighboring residents and apply to guests throughout the complex; they are not intended to prevent guests from normally enjoying the home. We appreciate the feedback, but we do feel it is important to clarify these points for future guests considering the property.
