This is such a beautiful property, we have stayed here twice now as a family in summer and have fully enjoyed it both times. The farmhouse is so charming and cozy, with plenty of comfy spaces for relaxing. We also enjoyed the abundant wildlife that visit the property: wild turkey, deer, so many birds and from a distance we saw elk also. If you are sitting quietly in the yard or back deck you will see them often. Such a peaceful summer getaway! So much more quiet and cool compared to the city, but only 15 minutes away from it. The hosts are also very nice and easy to communicate with.

Great place for a family! We had so much fun. We loved the milkshake machine and the full amenities of the kitchen!A note that the 3 beds were in a loft area that you pass through to get to two of the bedrooms. Not a problem for us, just a note to consider depending on your preference

Amazing and Relaxing place!

We enjoyed all of it! So peaceful! Fun to see deer and sit in the hottub. We we to Silverwood and stayed here.

Peaceful Country Oasis

Beautiful property! We had a great time relaxing at the house and exploring the nearby towns. The house very comfortably fit 6 adults with plenty of room for games, exploring, and resting. The house was very clean and communication with the owners was top notch! We would definitely stay again!

Just Right

This was the perfect place for our family vacation. Close to all the things we wanted to do but not too close! We loved the wide open spaces around us and gathering back “at home” after our adventures for the day.

What a wonderful spot for our family vacation! So much room and privacy. The view is spectacular! The children loved watching the abundant wildlife and so much enjoyed playing outside and walks with Papa and Gramma! Our time together was filled with memories that will last a lifetime! THANK YOU!

Great escape in Fall!

Our family had a wonderful time here. The house is large and had everything we could've needed. The two living rooms would be good for a larger group of 2 families as well. The location to downtown was great. The property itself is amazing, you really get the feel of and old homestead and it provided a great escape for us. The fall colors were in full bloom with commanding mountain views so we couldn't have asked for a better way to get a real fall experience. The owners were very quick to respond to any questions we had, we'd definitely return!

Amazing and beautiful property! Our family stayed here for 5 weeks and completely enjoyed it. The house is cozy and spacious, with a real farmhouse vibe. We picked fresh cherries off the tree and they were delicious. We enjoyed the city and lake only 15 minutes away and then came home to watch beautiful sunsets from the yard and soak in the hot tub while watching wild turkeys and deer meander thru the yard. Fell asleep to coyotes howling and woke up to birds singing. So peaceful and relaxing. Tom and Chandra are wonderful hosts, very responsive and accommodating. We can't wait to go back.

Wonderful location and home

The property and location of the home was wonderful. Very quiet, beautiful trees plus lots of open space to explore and enjoy. Well maintained grounds. We were able to enjoy our dinner outside every evening as the weather was lovely. The rooms in the house were large and offered plenty of seating plus areas where smaller groups could gather easily. The bedrooms worked out fine for our configuration. The home is also an easy drive to Couer d'Alene and to many nice hiking trails and swimming opportunities, all of which we enjoyed.

Beautiful county stay

The place was awesome - plenty of space, cool enough (despite the heat), lots of animals: deer, turkeys, quail, squirrels, cats, even an elk and a porcupine. The home itself was comfortable, plenty of supplies in the kitchen, the beds were nice. I even started reading one of the books in the library (didn't finish, so then I had to buy my own copy...)

Charming farmhouse and property. .

We loved this farmhouse. Older house with extensive remodeling and well maintained. Total privacy on this acreage. The setting was beautiful. Lots of room inside and many beds. Kitchen fully supplied. Oven not great. Evenings on the deck with BBQ and hot tub were perfect. Short 13 minute drive to downtown Couer d’Alene was not an issue with the beautiful country road. The bonus was the deer, porcupine, quail, moose, and song birds. I would be happy to stay again on this delightful property.

Farm House Stay

This was a beautiful location for a getaway with my family. My kids (9 and 11) loved roaming the pastures and seeing the deer on the property! The house was fully stocked and came with a wonderful welcome basket as well! The owners were very responsive and friendly. Thank you for a wonderful vacation to Idaho!

Beautiful Farm Property

This rural property was perfect for our family getaway. The setting was beautiful, and house had everything we needed. Enjoyed seeing the a pair of moose upon arrival. Highly recommended.
