¡Casa recientemente renovada y amueblada en excelente ubicación central en IOP! Fácil dentro / fuera de la isla. Ubicado en un excelente acceso a la playa con estacionamiento para carritos de golf y dejar en la playa. Todos los nuevos colchones de gel de enfriamiento. Dos camas queen, dos camas individuales y un sofá cama Queen extraíble. Gran patio para pasar el rato con muchos asientos en el patio, herraduras y una hamaca. Enorme ducha privada al aire libre con asientos. Baño adicional y lavandería en la espalda. A minutos del conector Isle of Palms. Great spot! Our pups so enjoyed the HUGE backyard, great location to the beach and driving distance to any type of restaurant you may want…we will for sure be staying here again The Kennards(Brandon, Kelly, Mason, Boomer, Blu and hooch)

What a gem of a beach cottage! It is clean, well appointed and beautifully updated. The back yard is the star of the show though, our dog has never had a yard to run free and she had the time of her life. The hammock was a nice touch, as well as the (infuriating) ring and hook game. There are beach chairs, towels and even a wagon for the short walk two blocks away to the ocean. The temps outside were in the three digits during the day and the A/C kept it nice and cool inside. The converted porch made a cozy little place to watch a movie, and the bed in the primary suite was uber comfortable. The location is in walking distance to grocery and other amenities, though bicycles would be ideal. We would love to stay again in the future.

Was there with older 2 kids and their 2 dogs for a few days. House and location were excellent for dogs and beach activities. Would highly recommend to anyone going to IOP.

Great vacation at Blue Crab

My family stayed here June 2024. We had a great time! House is adorable and beach was fantastic. Loved the outdoor shower!! Looking forward to visiting again.

Cute little bungalow with great fenced yard for pup

Only there for a couple of days and really enjoyed it. There were 2 of us plus our little doodle. It’s a little ways to the beach but not a problem.

Overall property was clean and as described in the listing. There was a huge backyard for the pets to run and play. It rained the entire time we were there so we didn't spend to much time outside enjoying the fenced in yard. The neighborhood was great and it is just a short walk to the beach!

Blue Crab review

Lovely location near the beach and clean, comfortable house. The price to stay for a month was outrageously expensive, however. The owner and property manager were wonderful. Great fenced yard!

Great Visit to Isle of Palms

We just stayed at the Blue Crab with our small dog. Adam was great to communicate, very responsive. The fenced back yard is huge for the dog. About 10 minutes to the beach, which was a nice, uncrowded spot. Plenty of space in the house for cooking, sleeping, and working. Thanks, Adam.

Great Spot in a Great Location

Our family of four had plenty of space during a weeklong stay. There is a short walk or bike ride to the beach and you are only minutes away from groceries, coffee, etc. the house was clean, the kitchen had everything needed to cook a good meal and the back hoard and outdoor shower are great! Our dog had just as much fun as we did. The owner and property manager do a great job communicating and are quick with recommendations. We look forward to coming back sometime.

The house was nothing special, was an okay place to rest your head at night. The cons: 1. The cleaning could be better. Lots of dust and potential mold in the kitchen above the range. 2. If you’re into cooking instead of going out, I’d pack a pan you like. What is provided is in rough shape. 3. We had some issues with flickering lights. Maybe the bulbs just need to be replaced, maybe it’s the wiring. The pros: 1. I will give credit to the backyard. It’s fenced in, large, and well maintained. I felt like our dogs were safe. 2. The location is good. Close to the beach and a grocery store. Not a terribly long drive to Mt Pleasant for better dining. Caution:The description didn’t disclose a pet fee but after checking in, the host requested an additional 150 host fee for pets. VRBRO helped us settle that, but verify before traveling.

Nice but saw a roach

The blue crab was a nice home for the family to stay in. The backyard was great and perfectly fenced in for the dogs. However, during our stay, we did see a roach on the counter. We also had a lizard in the bedroom once we finally got our details for check-in. It was great, but we did not get any communication until 3 o’clock with a 4 o’clock check-in and being from several states away, it made us a little uneasy not to get any response from our Texts, phone calls and emails until an hour before we were checking in. We knew check-in wasn’t until four. We just wanted some type of communication back to our mind. Overall, really nice place to stay however they need to take care of the roach problem before they rent again.

Family of 4 fur kid! This was our family’s first visit to Isle of Palms and absolutely loved it! Enjoyed the beach more so than our last years visit to folley. Our favorite restaurant was Sullivan’s Fish camp and really enjoyed the dessert shops in Charleston! We walked to the beach everyday and greatly appreciated the cart that carried chairs, the cooler, and towels! Isle of palms is probably the most dog friendly beach we’ve ever visited. Home had what we needed, everyone had their own space, beds were comfy, and loved having extra blankets. Dog had plenty of space to run. House was a little pricey. But, would come back in a heartbeat! Loved, loved our time here!

Perfect IOP for Vacationing with Pets

We had to travel with our family pets and am so happy we stayed at Blue Crab Bungalow. It was the perfect place for our fur babies with a wonderful porch/sunroom we all loved hanging out in. The house is quiet and comfortable. We loved the fact that it was toward Waterway (the back of the island) with easily walkable beach access literally up the street with a walkway across Palm Blvd. Adam was a wonderful host—great communication and some nice snacks in a welcome basket. Definitely will be back!!

Great trip

We really enjoyed our stay. The home was clean and well-stocked. A little farther from the beach than I thought it would be, maybe a 10-12 min walk with my kids who are slow walkers. Overall we had a great time and would stay again.

Look no further!

This is the house to be at! If I could give this property more than five stars, I would. I stayed here with my husband and three children, and dogs. We all had plenty of space and our own rooms. The house is gorgeous; pictures do not do it justice. I LOVED the fenced-in backyard and the outdoor shower. There were some games in the backyard that was great for the kids! There is a hammock that I took full advantage of. The best part of the stay was the owner, Adam, and the Property Manager, Marsha. We got to talk to them both; they were so accommodating and helpful and easy to talk to. They were awesome! I love this house and can not wait to stay again next year.

Sweet spot at the beach

We really enjoyed the blue cottage. It was a quick walk or golf cart ride to the beach just up the road. It was clean and comfortable. The teens loved the ring toss game and corn hole in the backyard. We all loved the outdoor shower after a day at the beach. We would recommend this cute cottage for your IOP getaway. We loved that we could book for Th- Sunday instead of weekly. Adam was very easy to reach and very helpful.
