Maui Beach Bungalow, the hippest property on Maui.

THE HOUSE: Light and airy bungalow (single story) located on Halama Street, the most walkable street in Kihei. The bungalow was designed by an interior designer with beautiful and fun touches throughout. Across the street from the ocean and just steps from one of the best sunset viewing parks on the island. The bungalow has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Can sleep up to six guests. Newly renovated interiors with killer outdoor living and dining areas. Private secluded garden setting. The entire home (3 bed/2 bath) and private lanais/yard/garden area is reserved only for the guests. The attached garage is accessible only by owner. Enjoy an afternoon nap in the hammock or sunbathing on a lounge chair. Each room is outfitted with AC units, ceiling fans and screen doors to capture the island breezes. The bedroom configurations are as follows: One king bed in the master bedroom, one queen bed in the guest room, and two twin beds in the lock-off bedroom at the back of the house. There is one indoor bathroom with bathtub/shower and toilet and one outdoor bathroom with one outdoor shower (a favorite of ALL of our guests), sink, and a private outdoor toilet. There is also a washer and dryer to clean your clothes, towels, etc. and we provide laundry detergent so there's no need to purchase. There is shampoo, conditioner, and body wash stocked in each shower. The Bungalow is a green energy home with a low carbon footprint solar panel system.

INCREDIBLE LOCATION: The bungalow is centrally located in Kihei town. Within walking distance to beaches, parks, restaurants, grocery store, surf school, sand volleyball courts, basketball courts, coffee shops, food trucks, outdoor inline skate rink, skatepark, and so much more.

Maui Beach Bungalow is a Maui County approved vacation rental. We are a legally permitted vacation rental. For private homes, we are required by the County of Maui to have all guests registered on the rental agreement and signatures of every adult confirming acceptance of House Policies at check-in.

A little piece of paradise

From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. Michelle is the most gracious host and this precious bungalow is well equipped with everything you need from the kitchen, bathrooms, beds, and even outdoor activities. Short walk to a beach and park and also conveniently located near restaurants and shops. We can’t wait to return again Mahalo, for the most perfect family Christmas vacation ❤️🎄 Until next time......Aloha

Why they chose this property

The Halama Street neighborhood is one of the loveliest neighborhoods in Kihei--just steps from the ocean and a few breath holds from Kalama Park, one of the best sunset viewing parks on the island. It's safe, walkable, and central to so many cool restaurants, bars, coffee shops, etc. All of my guests comment that they are thrilled with where the bungalow is located.

What makes this property unique

Maui Beach Bungalow is a hidden gem. Beautifully decorated without a hint of cliche'--not a decorative turtle in sight haha). The house is set back off the road in a secluded garden setting. It's surrounded on all sides by tropical flora and fauna. The house is off the street, behind the main house, but on a walkable street, next to a park and in a central area of town. There are beach access points all along Halama Street. Just down the road from the bungalow is the longest stretch of light sand beaches on the island (Kamaole I, II, and III).
