About Quincy Liby

Living in area for 15 years my experiences and work continue to grow with the love others feel for this area. I would love to share my experiences with others and give suggestions for expeditions and activities.

Quincy Liby purchased this house in 2000

Why Quincy Liby chose Victor

The home is in a very central location to all activities that the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem has to offer. You will never drive more than an hour for whatever activities you are looking for. The home and property itself is very enchanting both in the summer and the winter. The neighborhood is very quiet and the access is easy. We find that there is no reason to leave our home sitting on the back porch and watching birds flit through the wood is nirvana enough.

What makes this house unique

Birdwatching, privacy, relaxation, watching the fire and a great kitchen to cook in.

Guestbook comments from the owner

The area is amazing and Quincy and Patrick are always there to help. You feel as if you are in a wilderness wonderland. Moose and deer walking through the yard and the many nature trails right out the backyard. For the price it truley cannot be beat.

Cabin is exactly as advertised. Clean, charming.

  • 5 of 5

The west range of the Grand Tetons is a great place from which to "do the national parks." Day hikes from Victor and Griggs region offer a great alternative to hikes in the more crowded parks; and the west slope is like all western ranges: greener, w more fecund flora. Griggs has excellent restaurants. Victor brew pub is good.

Excellent place to stay for a Grand Tetons / Yellowstone vacation!

  • 4 of 5

This cabin is fantastic! Clean, comfortable, and great location. My only criticism is that the owner wants the previous renters to wash the towels and bedding before they leave. I assume most people are like me, and the last thing they want to do when trying to leave on the last day of vacation is wash sheets and towels. And do people really want to use towels and sleep in sheets knowing that? Other than that one gripe, I do recommend Quincy's cabin!

Loved it!

  • 5 of 5

We're a family of four and stayed in the house for 10 days. We had a terrific time - the house had everything we needed, was tucked away nice and quiet but close enough to VIctor that running out for supplies etc. wasn't a chore, and the surrounding area is beautiful. The owner, Quincy, was super-helpful in recommending things to do and we were very pleased that we decided to stay the quieter side of the Tetons!

Wonderful cabin!

  • 5 of 5

This cabin truly exceeded our expectations. It is tastefully decorated with a combination of industrial and rustic touches. The bed was comfortable and we slept great every night because it was so quiet. We found great trails to hike thanks to the information provided in the cabin and we enjoyed eating at Scratch and Spoons in Victor.

Absolutely perfect!

  • 5 of 5

The Aspen Grove house was everything I hoped it would be and so much more. I spent 25 days there and wished I had booked it for 45. Quincy is an amazing hostess and the house was stunning. I felt welcomed and comfortable immediately. The kitchen had every amenity including all-clad pans and great knives. The stove and grill were tops. I worried about missing my kitchen, but it couldn't have been more perfect. The beds were very comfortable and the entire house was super clean. The decor and architecture are compelling. I read several good books from the shelves and enjoyed quite an eclectic selection of music. The wifi was quick and reliable, though I would have gladly gone without just be be more present.

My dogs enjoyed the spacious fields and our long lazy walks which were only restricted by my aging dog's stamina each day. I went to Victor to fish, recharge and write. I accomplished the first two and have memories for a lifetime- upon which I can reflect and write next year when I return.

The nearby Teton River, Snake River, Gros Ventre (Crystal Creek confluence) and South Fork of the Snake provided stunning views and wildlife as well as tremendous fly fishing- even as a relative novice. There were detailed maps and hiking guides for the wilderness areas nearby. Trips to YNP and GTNP were close enough for day visits.

I cannot say enough about this home away from home. It's difficult to imagine anyone experiencing anything other than joy while staying in this lovely gem. Thanks so much Quincy! Best to you!

Wonderful getaway!

  • 5 of 5

Perfect vacation spot to get away from it all! The house has everything you could want - fully stocked kitchen, grill for making meals at home, wonderfully decorated, wifi. It is tucked into beautiful surroundings where you feel away from it all while still being close to town. The whole process was so easy from requesting to stay, to checking in and checking out. You feel secluded while still knowing an answer to any question is only a call or text away! We will definitely be back!
