nuevo Rustic Elegance SILVER SPUR CABIN Explore las montañas de Wichita WiFi Netflix

Recién terminada en julio de 2019 y lista para disfrutar, la Silver Spur Cabin en The Lazy Buffalo tiene dos camas Queen Size y un baño completo con ducha de azulejos. Madera de granero, pino nudoso y estaño corrugado se utilizan en toda la espaciosa cabina. Los pisos de concreto manchado oscuro y los techos de estaño realmente agregan un ambiente rústico pero elegante. Disfrute de la puesta de sol desde el porche cubierto mientras se relaja en las mecedoras de madera. También estamos entusiasmados con nuestra nueva área de pabellón adicional con una mesa de picnic y parrilla de carbón.

Silver Spur Cabin retrata la era del salvaje oeste. Se rumoreaba que nuestra antigua ciudad del oeste tenía su parte de forajidos famosos como Belle Starr y Jesse James. La puerta de hierro perdida sigue siendo un misterio.

El Lazy Buffalo consta de 4 cabañas temáticas individuales. Silver Spur Cabin es la segunda puerta desde la izquierda cuando se mira The Lazy Buffalo y debajo del techo blanco.

INTERACCION INVITADA
El Lazy Buffalo tiene un registro sin problemas. Se utiliza una entrada de panel táctil para que pueda ir directamente a su cabina a su llegada. Le enviaremos un mensaje con instrucciones junto con un código de acceso a la puerta. Nuestra casa está en el camino y siempre está a una llamada de distancia si necesita algo. Check in después de las 4pm y Check out antes de las 11am


UBICACIÓN
Estamos a solo media milla de la Casa de las Estrellas original de Quanah Parker y a minutos de Lawton Fort Sill y del histórico Parque de la Medicina. Explorar las pintorescas montañas de Wichita es imprescindible. Si eres un entusiasta de la bicicleta, hay un sendero pavimentado junto a nuestra propiedad que recorre las montañas.

Great location loved the short drive from Mt. Scott. Games for the grandkids was on point. Got some good volleyball in made music on the music wall and watch the sunrise from the star gazing truck which we really enjoyed.
Sunrise was beautiful.
Corn hole was a great time.

We absolutely loved staying here. Check in/check out was easy. The host was easy to communicate with. There were nice touches all over the room, from a game in the room, Netflix, a few free snacks, paper plates and plastic ware. These are little things that impressed us.

Perfect place to stay

It was a perfect place to stay. It’s only a few minutes away from everything. And the camp is set up for everyone to enjoy. They have games for the kids, chairs I front of each room so you can talk to your neighbors. A great place to star gaze up front by the picnic table with a building that blocks the lights of Fort Sill. The rooms are small but all that you need for a good nights sleep with a nice shower and kitchen area. We loved the decorations. I even loved that there was history about the area.

Nice Quaint Place

We enjoyed our stay greatly the only hiccup we had was the walls are thin and our neighbor had a baby that would cry and wake us up. But I would stay again!

Great location just minutes from the wichita mntns wma. Owners worked with me to change the arrival and departure time both from the original booking. Access to property was a snap and every comment received a quick response

Cabin was super cute, clean, comfortable beds, etc. Everything you could ask for. Host left what looked like a hand drawn pic with 2 Hershey kisses for my daughter & I. Wonderful, personal touch. Only 2 complaints. 1. Current burn ban so no . (Obviously that’s out of everyone’s control, but still sad) 2. The cleaning charge is really high. WARNING! It almost doubled the price of our one night stay. We are very clean people. We left the cabin as we would live in our home. My daughter made her bed & I went back & messed it up, Lol! Get my money’s worth 💸

We have lived in Southwest Oklahoma for over 60 years and love our hometown of Cache. The Wichita Mountains are right in our backyard, and we get to enjoy their beauty every day.

In 2019, The Lazy Buffalo opened with 5 vacation rental Cabins. These Cabins were designed to capture the essence of the Wichita Mountains and the history of our hometown. In 2021, the Venue with Bunkhouse opened, and we carried over the same western vibe when designing the 2400 square foot space. Throughout 2022 and 2023, we opened 6 more Cabins and in late 2023 our first set of pet friendly Cabins opened.

Conveniently connected by sidewalks, it's just a short stroll being the bunkhouse, our Cabins, and 24 hour guest laundry. All together, we can accommodate up to 49 guests among the 13 Cabins and Bunkhouse.

We are blessed to be family owned and managed. Our favorite thing about hosting is seeing multi-generation Families gathered around sharing quality time together. Should you need anything, our home is only 2 blocks from the Cabins. We hope you make wonderful memories while being our guest at The Lazy Buffalo.

Southwest Oklahoma is rich with History and offers endless things to do and discover.

CACHE - our hometown
Dine in at a local cafe or order fast food to enjoy at our outdoor pavilion. Wahlburgers, the first one on Oklahoma is located just across the highway inside the casino. This burger restaurant is family friendly.

The Cache City Park has a Pickleball Court with lights. Kids will enjoy the splash pad (open Summer) & playground equipment. The park features a paved trail and has kids bikes available for use.

For those that like to hit the slots, the Comanche Cache Casino is now open and has over 300 games. Casino is ages 18 and up and is non-smoking.

For history enthusiasts, Quanah Parker’s Star House is nearby. The two story home is known for its distinctive wraparound porch with large white stars adoring the roof. Many tales of the famous outlaws Belle Starr and Jesse James were rumored to have roamed our area. Will you be the one to find their hidden loot?

WICHITA MOUNTAINS WILDLIFE REFUGE – 3 miles
The Wildlife refuge spans 59000 acres and home to free range buffalo, longhorn cattle, and other species. Stop at the Visitor Center for a wealth of information on all the Refuge attractions including the Holy City, Quanah Parker Lake, parallel forest, forty-foot hole, and Charon’s garden trail.

MEERS & MEDICINE PARK – less than 15 miles
Take a scenic drive to Meers, a town known for its gold rush days. America’s cobblestone community, Medicine Park, is just past Mount Scott.

LAWTON - 10 to 20 minutes
Lawton is a bigger city and has activities such as casinos, iMax Movie Theater, shopping, and restaurants. Walmart, Academy, and Target are a short drive up the highway.

FORT SILL – 20 minutes
Fort Sill is the last remaining active military post that was built during the Indian war and is home to the US Army's Field Artillery. The prominent Native American leader of the Chiricahua Apache, Geronimo, is buried at the Fort Sill Cemetery.
