Spectacular Sunset Beach House Rental

This wonderful and spacious Beach House is located in a quiet, quaint, residential, beach community. It makes a great get-away for fun and relaxation. This beach house is located just 10 feet from the un-crowded, clean, white, sandy beach. Its evenings afford you the ever changing and most breathtaking sunsets. When you vacation on Sunset Beach, you will be 'LIVING ON ISLAND TIME.'

The 1410 square foot Beach House has a completely renovated outdoor space for BBQ's - and enjoying all that Sunset Beach Locale has to offer.

The large master bedroom has a queen-size bed and glass doors to its private deck and bathroom. There are two additional bedrooms. One bedroom has two twin beds and the other bedroom has a double bed. Our living room sofa is quite comfortable with a new 58" Smart TV. Dining for six in the dining area or under the stars on the patio from the deck off of the kitchen. All with breathtaking views of the ocean.

Local dining, dancing, and entertainment are just steps away. Or maybe you'll enjoy riding the local trolley from St. Pete Beach to Clearwater Beach, or perhaps visit the downtown waterfront. It is just 30 minutes to Tampa’s Busch Gardens, Historic Ybor City, Channelside, and Hyde Park. Just one and a half hours to Disney World, Sea World, and Universal Studios.

Great for Families

My family stayed here over the Christmas holidays as I live across the street. Great location; anything you could need was available in the house. The proximity of the playground and the beach was huge plus.

You can not beat this location! The property was comfortable and as described. It could use a thorough deep cleaning (and dusting) but otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

Great Location!

Great location right across from the public access to the beach! It was so nice to be able to just walk across the street to get to the beach and not have to worry about parking! Plenty of room for our entire family & grandparents with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and a large living room-a great find in this area!

Excellent location

Place is as described. Perfect location right on the beach. Quiet friendly neighborhood. Nice quiet soft sand beach with plenty of shells. The house Could use some updates but the location makes up for it. Myra was responsive and kind to our needs during the tropical storm.

Location and views were amazing. The property is pretty much as pictured. One bedroom has a trundle bed instead of two twin beds as pictured. Myra, the owner, was very helpful and available when needed. She checked in on us periodically to make sure everything was going okay. The property was could use some TLC, but it would not rule out us staying again.

Great location in need of some tlc

The location was our #1 reason for booking this, and that was absolutely perfect for our needs as we were in town for our brothers wedding and wanted to be close to everyone. This property has so much potential! They redid the outdoor decks which is great, and hopefully the beginning of more updates. The place needs a deep cleaning. The host was very responsive and nice to work with.

Needs some repair.

Location was great, but the property condition needs some work. The sliding glass doors/screens need to be repaired. One sliding glass door could not be opened and the sliding glass door next to it on the main level could not be shut & locked. The vertical blinds did not work properly so there was a issue of privacy. There were metal blinds on other windows that were tough to close.

Amazing view at Sunset beach!

This has been one of my top vacation experiences. The location is fantastic, you’re right across the street from the beach, you don’t have to plan a day for the beach, you can go for 20 minutes or all day. There are Tons of restaurants a few minutes away, and it’s close to Publix and CVS as well. 3 bedrooms 2.5 bathrooms makes it great for families. On top of the proximity you have a gorgeous view from the master bedroom balcony, we spent every evening there relaxing, listening to the waves, and taking in the beauty of the gulf. Lastly our Host, Myra, was top tier for communication. She reached out prior to the trip with her phone number for any addtl needs. When we arrived in town earlier she let us know that the house had been cleaned and prepared early and we could check in early. She even offered a late check out on our final day since the cleaners were coming in a little later, and if we didn’t have to make such a long drive home I wouldn’t taken another dip in that ocean. Would rent the same place again! 5 star location 5 star host THANK YOU MYRA!

Location Great Property Needs Things

Owner is nice but tried to control air conditioning with a nest. Upstairs was 85 degrees first two days. She finally switched out thermometer. Sliding glass doors and deck furniture are rusted and one chair broke just sitting in it and the handle broke off the only door that opened. It sliced my hand yet she put in for damage on the insurance. She changed out the twin beds in the pictures to a trundle bed which will not work for older adults or people not that cozy. She was also concerned if we would tske more than one shower a day. Most people at the beach will shower in the morning and before going out to dinner. The owner needs to understand that a house has to be cool after being in the sun all day and most people will take two showers. Lastly, the outdoor air unit sits right on the top deck, takes up half of it, sits in a constant puddle of water, and drips down onto the lower deck. Location is the only reason to pick this rental.

George, The Beach House is comfortable for a maximum of 6 Guests and your party was 8 with 4 Adults and 4 Child. I have your correspondence stating your party would only have 6 guests in total. Additional energy surcharges would be applied for each additional guest after the maximum of 6. In your case no additional surcharge was applied. The Beach House has 3 bedrooms with 2 Queen Beds and 2 Twin Beds (as stated). The Nest Thermostat which has been working reliably was somehow not connected to the wall properly noted by the Air Conditioning Service Repair Man. He replaced the Thermostat to ensure your comfort during your stay. The Humidity on average during your stay was over 90% and the temperature was over 95 Degrees F making it feel like 106 Degrees. Hitting all-time highs for July in Florida. I am thankful for your CSA Insurance purchase so the damage to the sliding glass door could be repaired at no additional cost to you. Thank you for your review. All items except for the placement of the Air Conditioning Unit have been addressed.

Location! Location! Location!

We absolutely loved our stay! The location was incredible! The view of the ocean from the master bedroom was spectacular! Communication and accommodations by the owner was punctual and fulfilling. We had everything we needed and then some. Myra, truly thought of everything to try and accomodate all families. My kids LOVED their rooms. My daughter loved the trundle bed (it says twin beds on listing, but she preferred the trundle). My son loved his room! I would not have been able to handle all the morning sun he received in his room, but he didn't mind. The window above our master bedroom gave our room a lot of sun in the morning. I prefer it dark so I could sleep in since it's vacation, but that's just my preference. My son LOVED the dog park in the back of the island because he was able to fish all morning and evening. I think he would move in, if he could! Myra was very attentive when we had an AC issue, but my husband resolved that problem and we mentioned it to her. She was receptive of the information, hopefully she uses it. I wish we brought our own beach chairs bc while there were lots provided, they were very worn which I should've expected that since so many must rent this beautiful home. The convenience of a hose downstairs was great as well and the parking. We were able to wash off everything before heading into the home. You pay to park everywhere so walk or bike if you prefer. We paid everywhere bc we didn't know. All in all, amazing stay Myra was the best host

Growing and Blessed

Words can’t explain when your child is going to be a mother. We announced to our family on vacation, that we are growing. This will more than likely be the last time we are all together like this for vacation. I hope not but your grown children have lives of there own. This house has created so many memories. Perfect location , beautiful house. Plus the host was in contact the whole time. Making sure things went as planned for our surprise, wanted family reaction. She was amazing! Amazing location, homey house

We stayed at Myra's homey house in May of 2018, a group of 5 adults and a kid. House was clean with very comfortable kitchen, bedrooms, spacious dining and living rooms. The owner and property manager addressed questions promptly. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets from both balconies and swimming first thing in the morning on an almost empty beach. Parking space is located under the house so our car has never been hot. Kitchen was equipped with all necessities. Publix is within 3 minutes drive, 'Caddy's on the Beach' (beach bar with local seafood) is within 10 minutes walk. There was some construction going on around but it did not bother us at all and most likely it will end soon. Thank you!

Fantastic Location and House!

I needed a location close to my wedding venue in St. Petersburg to get ready for my big day. This house was perfect. And it even served as a honeymoon house after the wedding. The house was practically on the beach, the sunsets from the window were breathtaking, and the neighborhood felt very safe and exclusive. And the 2 balconies facing the ocean made me never want to leave. Everything was well stocked and clean, and the check-in/check-out procedure was straightforward and easy. Myra was fantastic at communicating with me, meeting every one of my needs. I would definitely rent this house again, as would all my bridesmaids who got ready with me!

Family Vacation with Little Ones

My husband & I - along with our baby and 3 year old - shared this home with another couple and their 3 year old. The location was perfect for our little ones, and the view of the ocean was great. I was leery of the stairs but the boys learned how to climb up and down with no problem. I would be concerned if they were any younger. The house is well maintained and clean. And it is much more up-to-date than what the pictures indicate. And there is a free taxi service on the island called Jimmy's Free Ride that took us around when we went out without the kids.

We stayed at this house during Jan 2010 and the pictures do not do justice. Every sunset was awsome from the deck and the beach was less than 50 yards from the front door. We enjoyed our stay at this house so much we have rebooked for Jan 2011. Caddy's (bar/resturant) is just a short walk or even shorter bike ride (longer by car) and Ricky "T''s" Bar is a must for music. This is truly a hidden treasure tucked away at the south end of the island.

A True Treasure on Treasure Island!

My family stayed at this beach house for a week in September 2010. It was a very positive experience! Home is clean and well maintained. Ocean view is magnifient. Beach is lovely, pristine and very often private. Sunsets are to die for! We even saw a wedding right on the beach. We enjoyed nearby activities including John's Pass boardwalk and shopping, walking on the beach down to Caddy's Restaurant and a wonderful meal at the nearby Middlegrounds Restaurant. Publix is very handy just down the road. I have already booked this house for the same week in 2011 and would definitely recommend it to others! Life doesn't get much better than at Sunset Beach with family and friends!
